Virgo Malfoy: The Eternity Blood

Chapter 1: a Letter from Hogwarts

One month has passed since Virgo attended the primary school graduation ceremony with Brianna. There was nothing special about the ceremony. Virgo only troubled Brianna because he cried constantly asking to go home. He only felt disturbed by the sweet scent that was like deliberately burned his body.

Virgo doesn't know what happened every time he smells a fishy smell which he thought it was sweet. However, it was torturing him.

He also began rarely leaving the manor and chose to think of which secondary school he would choose. According to him, staying at home from the crowd is better than he feels his body burned up when he smells something sweet when he hang out in the muggles world with Scorpius.

Not only that, Virgo began to be annoyed with his father who continued to ask him whether he began to show some magic power from himself. Does he have other powers such as reading the minds of humans and all the stuff about magic?

He doesn't know.

And lately there is also a black cat oftenly perched in front of the window of his room every night late. Virgo, who is too superstitious about the creepy things when black cats appeared, can only be frightened and cover his entire body with blanket so that he doesn't need to face the pair of glowing gray eyes.

"Bunny?"

The owner of the cute name just turns around. The woman's voice successfully eliminated his morning reverie. Virgo should be grateful to his mother for breaking his daydreams.

Brianna, with an envelope in her right hand with a bright smile on her face. Quickly she entered Virgo's room and gave the envelope to him.

"For you. Nochu was brought this." Her said without turned off her smile.

Virgo looked at the envelope, his heart pounding like a large drum beating. Nobody in his entire life ever wrote to him. Who will write a letter for him? He had no friends who like to wrote a letter, no other family-he was not a member of any library, he had never even gotten a rude reprimand to immediately return the book he had borrowed. But apparently, here is a letter clearly addressed to him:

      𝑴𝒓. 𝑽. 𝑴𝒂𝒍𝒇𝒐𝒚

      𝑹𝒐𝒐𝒎 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒅 𝒇𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒓

      𝑨𝒕 𝑴𝒂𝒍𝒇𝒐𝒚 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒓

The envelope is thick and heavy, made of leather parchment used instead of paper. The color is yellowish and the name and address are written in emerald green ink. There is no stamp. He flipped the envelope with trembling hands, Virgo saw a purple seal with a large " 𝑯 " symbol surrounded by lions, eagles, weasels and snakes.

"I'll be back, read it very clearly." Brianna stroked Virgo's black manned before she really left the room.

       ***𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒎𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓: 𝑴𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒂 𝑴𝒄𝑮𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒍𝒍

(𝑶𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝑴𝒆𝒓𝒍𝒊𝒏, 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝑪𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒔, 𝑮𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕 𝑴𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒏,

       𝑪𝒉𝒊𝒆𝒇 𝑴𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒏, 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑴𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒄 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒇𝒆𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏)

       𝑫𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝑴𝒓. 𝑴𝒂𝒍𝒇𝒐𝒚,

𝑾𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒘𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆

𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒂 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑯𝒐𝒈𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒔 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍 𝒐𝒇 𝑴𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒄.

        𝑩𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒓𝒆𝒈𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒔,

        𝑴𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒂 𝑴𝒄𝑮𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒍𝒍***

Virgo blinked a few times after reading the letter. Impossible. What's on his mind right now was impossible.

Like crap that is too heavy for him. He is just an ordinary human without magic power. Only a boy who will turn eleven years old who still believes in superstition even though he knew everything he believes does not exist.

"M-mom, are you sure this is real? I don't have any magic power on me and-"

"Ssst!"

Virgo's scold that all of sudden appeared at kitchen was stopped when Brianna put her index finger on her lips.

"We will shop all your new school's needs tomorrow, okay? Don't worry, i will send Nochu to Hogwarts tonight."

"But mommy i can't-"

"Not today Mr. Malfoy. You better eat your breakfast and take a bath after that."

Brianna kissed the black haired boy's forehead after she lead him to sit and eat his breakfast.

"Hello everyone, good morning!"

Scorpius who came out of nowhere kissed Virgo's head and didn't forget to kiss his wife's lips. He looks still wearing his work uniform even though it looked so messy. Scorpius works overtime again.

"I heard that Virgo got his letter from Hogwarts isn't it?" He asked eagerly.

Scorpius put his beret hat and leather suitcase on the table, sitting opposite Virgo. He stared at the pair of yellow beads that like eagle's eyes softly.

"Congratulations, my son. Me and your mom are so happy about you." Scorpius smiled widely as he reach Virgo's left hand who still busy to chewing his honey bread.

"Remember, Hogwarts is not carelessly to invite kids who are in the same age like you to be their students. Only talented kids who could go to school there." Scorpius's still not faded from his face.

"But, i don't know what's my talent and i don't know anything about magic."

"You're living with Malfoy family, son. How could you don't know anything?" Said Brianna who finished her cooking event and sat next to Virgo.

Yes, right. It's impossible if he doesn't know anything. Of course he knew it because he already living with Malfoy family for long time ago. But the problem is there's no one who want to teach him about magic.

"I doubt it if i'm your child or not. I look so different.. am i your child?"

Scorpius dan Brianna were stunned by Virgo's question. They looked at each other, looking for the right words to answer Virgo questions that they think are too deep.

"Virgo, listen to us." Scorpius caressed Virgo's head softly.

"You're our son. And being different is so much fun, isn't it?"

"You've said it by yourself if you're really hate with people who has the same taste like yours. Don't you remember?"

Virgo nodded his head to justify Scorpius's statement,

"We love you no matter what. We love you, Virgo. Forever."

Chapter 2: Diagon Alley (Part 1)

Virgo was slightly disturbed by something softly tickled at his nose. Inevitably he must wake up from his sweet dreams. Hm, Virgo even doesn't know whether his dream was beautiful or not.

His eyes blinked softly. His blurred vision caught the figure of a black cat that was oftenly perched in front of his bedroom window and now sitting on the edge of his bed. Instantly, Virgo woke up and surprised.

The cat figure wasn't there, but Virgus who was sitting on the edge of the bed, glared at him. Those eyes...

"W-what are you doing here ?! You surprised me!" Virgo strokes his chest which incessantly toss a loud beat from the inside.

"I've been waiting for you to wake up."

"Err.. why?" Virgo asked him nervously.

"Don't you have to shop for your new school stuff?"

Ah, today is the day he had been waited. It's really sad if he was forgot this fun day.

"Alright, i will-"

"You don't need to take a bath. Eat your breakfast and dress up. I'll wait you." Virgus said firmly as he pointed to a bowl of cereal and a glass of ginger milk on the nightstand table.

Virgo only obeyed Virgus's command that sound err .. a little fierce for him. Or maybe this is just an effect because he rarely talks to Virgus. Yes, maybe.

"Father and mother ... can't take you to Diagon Alley because of sudden business." Virgus tried to speak as quietly as possible.

Virgo just chews the cereal in silence. This time his heart beats faster when he remembers something. And at that moment he choked by his cereal.

"Vi-virgo are you okay?"

"Yes, i'm okay."

"Your eyes..."

Virgus transfixed. Not with Virgo, but with his yellow eyes. Those eyes are light up. It just looks weird. Not because of the sunlight, there is something hidden from that boy.

"My eyes? It's glowing, right? I think it because the sunlight."

Ah, stupid Virgus. Why doesn't he think so? Pft..

"Finish your breakfast, we don't have much time."

No need to spend hours, Virgo has finished his breakfast and changed his clothes. Plain black shirt wrapped in a thick black jacket and scarf.

For a moment Virgo looked at his brother who was looking at the yard outside his room. He looks very handsome with all-black clothes for his teenager age. And his hair...

"I realized it if you're dye your hair into the black."

"I just want to match your hair color. Are you ready?"

"Err ... I feel something is missing."

"Your letter, all your needs lists are there." Virgo reached into his jacket pocket, pulled the letter out from there.

"Then what's lacking?" Virgo just shaked his head.

"Now go into your fireplace."

Virgus took a bowl of powder just above the fireplace in Virgo's room. Seeing that thing reminded Virgo of Scorpius who had scolded him for spilling the powder right in Nochu's body. That owl's body ended up full with the powder.

"Take enough of this floo powder." Virgo takes a handful of the powder. By the way, he just found out the name of the powder.

"Listen carefully, before dropping the powder you have to pronounce the name of the place where you want to go firmly and clearly. We will go to Diagon Alley. That's the name of the place."

"On the count of three, do as I was saying. One, two, thr-"

"DIAGONALLY!" Virgo drops a handful of powder, then the green smoke appeared and removes Virgo from behind the smoke without leaving a trace.

Virgus was being silent for a while, then checking inside the fireplace. "Did he just said Diagonally?" He muttered to himself.

SRRAA!

Virgo glides, falls and comes out of the fireplace. Black ash stuck over to almost all of his face.

Wait, what is this place?

"Magic ..." Virgo murmured after he realized that he had moved to the different place. He quickly cleaned his body from dust.

This place is very dusty, full of antiques which he thinks is very scary for him. He wanted to leave this place quickly.

But, this smell ...

Virgo began to follow this strange smell. He just stepped on his feet, following the flow of the scent that lured him to approach him.

"What can I do for you, sir?"

Virgo was surprised when the old man who he believed was the owner of an antique shop came suddenly, approached him and looked at himself sharply. But immediately the look on that face changed, like someone was scared with a ghost.

"N-nothing, I just got lost and came to your place accidentally. T-thank you." Virgo quickly stepped out of that terrible place. And...

GRAB!

"Virgo! Where have you been ?! Why did you get here?!"

"V-virgus i just-"

How did Virgus find him in here?

The hand of a man who was four years younger than him was pulled tight, coming out of a terrible place with a visitor that... terrible too.

"I'm sorry, Virgus. I just-"

"That's okay. It's your first time and i really don't mind it."

"How could you find me?"

"I was lost at there too when i was at the same age like you and i guess you were there too. So i go there." Virgus scrunch his nose. "Eww.. Such a dirty place."

By the way, this is the first time for Virgo knowing about Virgus who suddenly talking too much.

"You should wear this hat. And give me your letter." Virgus put a black bucket to Virgo's head.

"Why?" Virgo asked him curiously while handed the letter to Virgus.

"Your eyes can catch people attention. And i really hate being a center of attention even it's not me." Virgus keep talking while read all the list on the letter. Virgo just trying to peek what's on the list.

"We're going to get your uniform first. And.. don't try to take off the hat unless you're really like being an attention seeker."

They walked along the hustle and bustle of Diagon Alley. And indeed, no one looked at them at all.

"We're going there." said Virgus, nodding toward 𝘔𝘢𝘥𝘢𝘮 𝘔𝘢𝘭𝘬𝘪𝘯'𝘴 𝘙𝘰𝘣𝘦𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘖𝘤𝘤𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 . "Listen, Virgo, would you mind if I slipped off for buy all your book at 𝘍𝘭𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘩 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘉𝘭𝘰𝘵𝘵𝘴?" He looks want everything are done early, so Virgo entered Madam Malkin's shop alone, feeling nervous.

But, wait.. what is 𝘍𝘭𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘩 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘉𝘭𝘰𝘵𝘵𝘴?

"Hogwarts, dear?" a young lady with a peach dress said, when Virgo started to speak. "Got the lot here - another young man being fitted up just now, in fact."

This smell. The smell of this woman really made Virgo insane for a second. Virgo suddenly feel burning and thirsty inside his body. But, he's tried to calm down.

"Are you Madam Malkin?" Virgo asked in curiousity since the lady is too young to be called as madam.

"No, i'm her grand daughter. My name is Katlyn if you want to know" She smiled widely. Virgo want to asked more but he just too shy since he never talk to any woman or girl, except his mother.

In the back of the shop, a boy with a wide shoulder and pointed face was standing on a footstool while a second witch pinned up his long black robes. Mrs. Katlyn stood Virgo on a stool next to him slipped a long robe over his head, and began to pin it to the right length.

"Hello," said the boy, "Hogwarts, too?"

"Yes," said Virgo in coldness tone.

"I like your hat."

"Thanks..."

"And what are you up too in here?" Virgo tried to talk to this stranger even he little bit nervous.

"I tore my Quidditch robe again." The boy shrughed his shoulder. Virgo feel stupid now. It was his first time hearing that strange word, Quidditch.

"Are you the first year student? If that so then you are the same age with my little sister. I hope my little sister will be in Gryffindor like me. Know what house you'll be in yet?" He smile widely.

"Uh.. no..." said Virgo, feeling more stupid by the minute.

But before the boy could speak again, Mrs. Katlyn said, "That's you done, my dear," and Virgo, not sorry for an excuse to stop talking to the boy since he isn't good at interact, hopped down from the footstool and run out to Virgus who already waited him at outside with two cup of ice cream and a stack of books in his left hand.

"Well, I'll see you at Hogwarts, I suppose," said the wide shoulder boy.

Virgo was rather quiet as he ate the ice cream Virgus had bought him (matcha ice cream).

"What's up?" said Virgus.

"Nothing," Virgo lied. They stopped to buy parchment and quills. Virgo cheered up a bit when he found a bottle of ink that changed color as you wrote. When they had left the shop, he said, "Virgus, what's Quidditch?"

"Your mother never told you about Quidditch?! I though she was very close with you?!"

"Don't make me feel worse," said Virgo. He told Virgus about the wide shoulders boy in Madam Malkin's shop.

"- and he said his little sister will be in the Gryffindor and asked me about the house that i'll be in-"

"Well, i don't know too. Maybe, you're going into Slytherin like me." Virgo just nodded his head even he doubting himself since he is 'different'.

"So what is Quidditch?"

"It's our sport. Wizard sport. It's like soccer in the Muggle world - played up in the air on broomsticks and there's four balls - sorta hard to explain the rules. I'm the seeker in my team, by the way."

"And what are Slytherin and Gryffindor?"

"School houses. There's four houses. Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw and.. Hufflepuff. Everyone says Hufflepuff are a lot of duffers, and that's the fact."

"I bet I will be in Hufflepuff," said Virgo gloomily.

"You're not going to be a part of them," said Virgus, scrunch his nose disgustingly. "You can enter all the houses but not Hufflepuff!"

"But i think that's okay?"

"Oh, bloody hell! Not even!"

Chapter 3: Diagon Alley (Part. 2)

***

Then they visited the Apothecary, which was fascinating enough to make up for its horrible smell, a mixture of bad eggs and rotted cabbages. Barrels of slimy stuff stood on the floor; jars of herbs, dried roots, and bright powders lined the walls; bundles of feathers, strings of fangs, and snarled claws hung from the ceiling. While Virgus asked the man behind the counter for a supply of some basic potion ingredients for Virgo, Virgus himself examined silver unicorn horns at twenty-one Galleons each and minuscule, glittery-black beetle eyes (five Knuts a scoop).

Outside the Apothecary, Virgus checked Virgo's list again.

"I don't think we need a new pet, we still have Nochu. Just Ollivanders left now - only place for magic wand"

A magic wand... this was what Virgo had been really looking forward to.

This last store is narrow and rundown. Scratches and black burns on the bricks add a bad impression to this shop. The golden letters that had peeled over the door rang, 𝘖𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴: 𝘔𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘍𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘞𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘦 382 𝘉𝘊. A wand lay on a dull purple pillow in a dusty window.

The clink of the bell rang in the depths of the shop as they stepped inside. The place was very small, empty, there was only one thin high chair. Virgus just stood waiting by the door because he was reluctant to sit his butt.

Virgo began to swallow a lot of new questions that popped into his mind and just looked at the thousands of flat boxes stacked neatly up to the ceiling. For some reason, he got goosebumps. The dust and silence in this shop feels like it contains secret magic.

"Good evening," a soft voice came. Virgo got jumped.

Virgus must have jumped too, because the sound of his footsteps quickly approached to Virgo.

An old man sitting in a wheelchair in front of them. His wide pale eyes glowed like the moon in the gloomy shop.

"Hello," said Virgo, a little scared.

Mr. Ollivander approached Virgo. He looked at half of his face covered by a bucket hat. Feeling uncomfortable, Virgo quickly took off his hat for fear of being seen as impolite kid.

Mr. Ollivander was surprised.

"Mr. Ollivander. I hope you understand, in fact my brother is living too long in the world of muggles. Using colorful soft lens is a trend for muggles now days, so please don't be surprised." Said Virgus suddenly and smiled sweetly trying to lie.

"Oh you must be Mr. Malfoy! And what is soft lens?" Mr. Ollivander smiled.

"An object that could change the color of our eyes."

"Wow, muggles is very advanced, apparently. By the way, your hair color is good too." Virgus just chuckled and Virgo still couldn't grasp the intent of all these moment.

"I want to say that the wand chose the wizard, of course." He pulled out a long meter with silver markings from inside his pocket.

"Let's see, Mr. Malfoy. Which hand is your wand holder?"

"Er-- left hand," said Virgo.

"Stick out your hand. Good." He measured Virgo from shoulder to finger, then wrist to elbow, shoulder to floor, knee to armpit, and around his head. Virgo feels a little uncomfortable.

As he measured, he said, "All of Ollivander's wands are the essence of the occult, Mr. Malfoy. We use unicorn hair, phoenix tail feathers, and dragon heart pulses. No two Ollivander wands are the same. Just as no two unicorns, dragons or phoenix are exactly the same. And of course you won't get good results with another wand."

Virgo suddenly realized that the meter that was measuring the distance between his nostrils, measured itself. Virgo looked at Virgus like he was asking for help and Virgus just chuckled softly.

Mr. Ollivander went round in front of the shelves, unloading all the boxes. "That's enough," he said, and the meter immediately sank to the floor. "Fine, Mr. Malfoy, try this one. Beechwood and the pulse of the dragon's heart. Twenty a half centimeter. Nice and flexible. Take it and try to shake it."

Virgo grabbed the wand and (felt dumb) shook it a little, but Mr. Ollivander immediately snatched it. "Mahogany wood and phoenix feathers. Thirteen and a half centimeters. Try it..." Virgo tried—but just as he raised it, the wand was also usurped back by Mr. Ollivander. "No, no-this, ebony and unicorn hair, twenty-one quarter, elastic. Come on, come on, try this one."

Virgo try it and try another. He had no idea what Mr Ollivander was waiting for. The stack of wands he had been trying was getting higher and higher on a thin chair, but the more wands he took from the shelves, Mr Ollivander is seemed more happy.

"A picky buyer, eh? Don't worry, we'll find a wand that fits right here一what if一yes, why not一an unusual combination一Apple wood and phoenix feathers, twenty一five and a half centimeters, nice and flexible."

Virgo took the wand. Suddenly his fingers felt warm. He raised the stick above his head, swung it down in the dusty air, and a tinge of green sparks shot from its end like fireworks. Virgus gaped, and Mr. Ollivander exclaimed, "Oh, bravo! Yes, really, very good. Wow, wow, wow, really weird ... really weird ..."

He put the Virgo's wand back in his box and wrapped it in brown paper, while muttering,

"Weird, weird..."

"Sorry," said Virgo, "but what's weird?" Mr. Ollivander looked at Virgo with his pale eyes.

"I remember all the wands i once sold, Mr. Malfoy. One by one. It just so happened that the phoenix whose tail feathers were on your wand, produced one more feather. It was strange that you were destined to be the owner of this wand, while the other Malfoys never had that type of this wand..." Virgo swallows. And Virgus just rolled his eyes because what Mr. Ollivander's said.

"Woah... sounds like Mr. Potter's wand, isn't it? I read alot about him already."

"Yes! You're right! But his wand isn't an Apple wood" Mr. Olivander clapped his hand excitedly. "It's really strange things. The wand that chose the wizard, remember... I think we should expect you to do extraordinary things, Mr. Malfoy..."

Virgo shuddered. He wasn't sure if he really liked Mr. Ollivander. He paid seven Galleons of gold for his wand and Mr. Ollivander was nodded, escorting them left the shop.

***

The afternoon sun hung low in the sky. Virgo and Virgus return to Diagon Alley, heading to the Leaky Cauldron for dinner. Along the way Virgo doesn't talk at all. He didn't even realize how surprised the people around Diagon Alley were to see them.

"I told you to wear your hat," Virgus said. He deliberately bought two bowls of chicken soup, worried if Virgo was not accustomed to eating Leaky's weird food. They sat on long wooden chairs to eat it. Virgo repeatedly looked around. Everything feels strange.

"Are you okay, Virgo? You've been quiet too long," Said Virgus.

Virgo is not sure he can explain. Today was the happiest day of his life - but - he was chewing on chicken meat, trying to find words.

"I don't know anything about magic or maybe Hogwarts. Mother and father never told me about them. I just feel so stupid." he said finally.

"And I also felt something was happening..."

"Lately I have nightmares... about our family. There are groups of people who try to kill us. And every time I touch father or mother or maybe something in our house, I can see something that I shouldn't see. And..."

Virgo sighed quietly, trying to calm himself.

"...every time I smell something that is very sweet to me, my body feels like it is burning and thirsty. Especially when I smell a woman's scent. It's very torturous me."

Virgus suddenly choked by his food after hearing it.

Virgus stunned, watching Virgo who was eating with a confused expression on his face. It's not normal for a boy in the same age like him to get to know the smell of women. He even has never smelled a woman.

But Virgus's confusion disappeared when he could see the bright yellow bead behind the hat that covered half of Virgo's face. He knew very well who actually Virgo compared to his parents even though he was not close enough to the boy in front of him.

"Since when you can feel that."

"I don't know. Maybe since I was in fourth grade at primary school."

"That's your talent, Virgo. You just need to learn how to control it." Virgus prop his chin over on the table with his palm. He smiled very friendly.

"Don't worry, Virgo. You will learn quickly. Everyone is start from the beginning at Hogwarts, you won't get into the trouble. Just be yourself. I know this is hard. You have been chosen, and this is always hard. But you will be happy at Hogwarts. I'm also glad to be there and I don't want to go home from there." Virgus then handed over an envelope and a silver key.

"Your train ticket is at Hogwarts," he said. "September one - King's Cross - all listed on your ticket. And this is the key of your safe at Gringotts bank. If you want to take money at Gringotts, just say your name while handing this key to the guards."

Virgo realized that Virgus had been carrying a bead sling bag when Virgus took off the bag and gave it to Virgo.

"This is just a bag. My eleventh birthday gift from Mrs. Potter, you still remember her, right?" Virgo nodded in resignation.

"Don't lose it. Ah, it's better if we put all your stuff here."

Virgo gaping when all his stuffs fit in a small sling bag. He didn't blink at all, worried if he missed this moment for even a second.

"And one more thing. If you can't control your thirst, go to the forest to find a goat or bite your own fingers."

Virgo does not understand. He only nodded trying to respond to the words of the sharp-eyed man.

"It's almost late, let's go home."
