Kaynine just graduated from high school, she hoped to get accepted into a good university and make her dreams come true.

I understand that this is very strange for you and I apologize for any discomfort we have have caused you.
Kay
It's OK Mr Davis. Since my family has already agreed there is nothing I can do about it.
Mr Davis looked at the little girl in front of him. She looks so young, you would not believe that she has just completed High-school. It is such a pity that he may have to ruin her plans for her future.

Kay
I have a few conditions of my own.
Lawyer
You are not in a position to give conditions.
Kay
I am signing away a part of my future. No amount of money can buy that.
Kay
Seeing as I could just as easily end my life as I can live it, I don't see why I can't give a few conditions.
The room is deathly quiet as everyone ponders her threat. Feeling a little more nervous than before, Mr Davis smiles...
Mr Davis
OK, Kay - may I call you that? - what are your conditions?
Kay
First I will study whatever I want and pursue any career I want. Education and a career are non-negotiable.
Second I'm only entrusting a PART of my future to your son, that does not mean that I will be dictated by him, you or any of your family.
Third my body is my own. I do not know your son and should therefore not be expected to consummate our marriage. He will not touch unless I permit it and I will not be pressured to bear him children.
Kay
I will think of others as I go along.
Once again everyone in the room was left shocked by the young girl in front of them.
Mrs Davis looked at her with concealed pity and wondered for the fifth time that day why such a young and beautiful soul should have to go through so much.
Mr Davis
OK, we accept your conditions.
Kay
OK. (with a little more energy and a slight excitement) when do we leave?
Episode 2
The next day Kay packs up her belongings and leaves her parents' house.
Kay
I feel guilty for leaving like this, but I just can't bear to see their faces when I say goodbye.
Kay
*wipes her eyes* I cannot cry right now, I have to be strong.
Kay looks back at her home one last time with a forlorn look on her face.
On the plane Kay kept to herself, only speaking when spoken to and avoiding small talk.
Kay
I don't know what to say to any of them. What if I make a fool of myself?
Kay
*remembers the previous day* oh man, did I really threaten to kill myself?
Kay
*buries her head in her hands*
Mrs Davis
'Poor thing, this is probably too much to handle. '
She stares out the window and admires the flashing lights. As a country girl she had never seen anything like it.
As the car pulled up at the Davis home Kay was once again struck by how rich these people are.
Before Kay had even climbed out of the car, a boy not much younger than her came running and tried to hug her.
Mrs Davis
*Pfft* Kay this is our son, Leon.

You must be tired, let Chloe show you to your room.

An older looking woman was sitting on the sofa sipping what must looked like tea. Her posture and mannerism seemed very ladylike.

Silva, this is Kay. She is Kian's fiancé.
Aunt Silva

OK, Chloe why don't you take Kay up to her room?
As she walked up the stairs Kay wondered for the third time if she could handle what was coming.

The next day Kay woke up early and dressed in her workout clothes.

I'll have to get used to the neighborhood so I might as well go for a run.

Anyway I need to blow off some steam before facing everyone. 'why did it have to be me ?'
After her run she walked back into the house and went straight to the kitchen.
While she was drinking water a man came up behind her
She turned around, shocked that she didn't hear anyone come in. When her eyes landed on him she froze...
Kay
'how can anyone be so handsome? '
Kian
I'll ask again, what are you doing?
Kay
Oh... Um... I was just drinking water
She felt like she would suffocate under his intimidating glare.
Just then her mother-in-law walked in.
Mrs Davis
Oh good morning dear, did you sleep well?
Kay
Good morning, I slept very well thank you.
Mrs Davis
Oh, hi Kian. How are you today?
He turned his attention back to the beautiful girl in front of him.
Mrs Davis
Oh this is Kay, she's your fiancé.
Kay's eyes went wide as realised who he was.
Kay
Uhm... I'm I'll go and get changed...
She ran out of the kitchen before anyone could answer.
Kian
I'm going to the company, I'll be back in time for lunch.
He kissed her cheek and walked oit whistling. The image of certain pair of wide eyes in his mind.
