Since I can remember, I have been treated like a slave. I am not allowed to eat before the other employees, and I have to bathe in the river.

I don't understand why they treat me this way. I just hope to reach adulthood so I can leave this pack behind. I don't care about living as a Rogue; I prefer that to enduring this kind of treatment.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Aria, I don't have a last name. I am 1.65 meters tall, with fair skin and jet-black hair. My eyes are hazel. I was told that I was found when I was 3 years old by the former Alpha Markus of the Sunshine pack. Although he never treated me poorly, he did nothing to stop the mistreatment, especially from his Luna, who was very cruel to me. Her mistreatment stemmed from the belief that I was some kind of bastard child of the Alpha. Despite him repeatedly assuring her that it wasn't true, she never fully believed him. Whenever she would strike me, she would always say that I was a manifestation of her unhappiness.

The Alpha Markus and his Luna Solange (that was the witch's name) had three children: the eldest and current Alpha of the pack, Kiran, and the twins Caleb and Cala.

When I was 6 years old, my life changed dramatically. Although it is true that I was an employee in Alpha Markus' house and was mistreated by Luna, at least I had a room and could go to school. One day, as I was getting ready for school, there was commotion throughout the house. Mysteriously, Alpha Markus was found dead in his own bed. The doctors stated that he had died of a heart attack, which was strange because he had always been very healthy. They wanted to perform an autopsy, but Luna Solange did not allow it, claiming that it would dishonor the Alpha's body.

Two days after the funeral, Luna Solange entered my room, grabbed my arm, dragged me out, and threw me into a very small room used for storing cleaning supplies. She then told me that from that day forward, it would be my new room and that I could forget about going to school. Even though I pleaded with her to let me attend school, she just kicked and mocked me, saying that an orphaned bastard didn't deserve an education.

And so, my Martyrdom began.

ARIA

Oh my God, I overslept! I hurriedly rush out of the room, quickly putting my hair up in a ponytail and trying to straighten out my worn-out dress, which was a gift from Cala. Since she and I were friends (well, secretly from Luna Solange), she would give me her dresses that no longer fit her because despite being younger than me, she had a fuller figure due to eating so little and being very thin.

Cala and Caleb had always been my only friends in the pack, albeit secretly from their mother, because I can't even imagine how she would react if she found out.

Cala took it upon herself to teach me how to read, write, and gave me lessons in different subjects. She was always my teacher. Thanks to her, I was able to finish high school and consider going to college. She also gave me lessons in etiquette (although I never saw the point), but she insisted and I agreed without protesting.

Caleb taught me everything I needed to know to defend myself, hand-to-hand combat, and how to survive outside the pack. While it is true that I have never gone beyond the pack's boundaries, both of them know that I plan to leave Sunshine when I turn 18 and have my wolf, even though they didn't like the idea very much. They supported me because they know that no one deserves the life I have here.

I reached the kitchen and ran into Mery, the cook, who is a grumpy woman in her forties. She hurried me and asked me to pass her the eggs and milk because Luna wants to have breakfast on the terrace. She says she'll be leaving early for the city because she has to do some shopping for the gathering in three days' time.

"Yes, ma'am, here you go. I'll chop the fruit and make some juice." Aria answered.

We finished preparing breakfast and I brought everything to the terrace, where Luna Solange was already seated. When she saw me, she frowned and without looking at me, she ordered, "Finish arranging that and go wake up Alpha Kiran so he can have breakfast. Then, go help the other servants clean the grand hall and make it sparkling clean. In three days, we will have the presentation ceremony for my son's Luna, and Alphas from all the packs will be coming."

"Yes, Luna, right away."

Damn it! Why did it have to be me who goes to wake up that idiot Kiran? I can't believe it. Well, I just have to endure 3 more days, and then I'll be free. On the same day as the engagement ceremony, it will be my 18th birthday, and I plan to escape from here when everyone will be distracted, and of course, Cala and Caleb will help me.

Reluctantly, I climb the stairs towards Kiran's room. I knock on the door, but there's no response. Is he still asleep? I slowly open the door and enter. The room is dark, but that's not much of a problem because even though I don't have my wolf yet, I can see very well. And there, sitting on the bed, I see Kiran naked, eyes closed, with his hands on his member. I was taken aback and I heard him say, "Oh, Aria." Without thinking twice, I wanted to leave, but as I stepped back, I bumped into the door, which slammed shut. In that moment, I saw him open his eyes and in a quick motion, he pinned me against the wall and in a hoarse voice, whispered in my ear.

"Do you like what you saw?"

"Alpha Kiran, I... I didn't mean to disturb. Your mother asked me to come wake you up for breakfast."

I was baffled. I had never seen a naked man in my life, let alone someone like Kiran. He was 6 feet tall, muscular, with brown hair and green eyes. I can't deny that he's very handsome, and all the girls in the pack swoon over him. But never did I imagine that I would be attracted to him. Besides, he has always treated me in a condescending manner, making me feel less, reminding me that I'm an orphan who should be grateful for having a place to sleep. And now, this approach from him makes me nervous. What does he want, especially now that there are only a few days left until I'm free.

"Did I ask you a question, orphan? Did you like what you saw? You know how many women would give anything to have seen me naked."

"Alpha Kiran, please let me go!"

"You should feel honored that I even bother to look at you. Who would dare to even consider you? You're nothing more than an orphan with no last name."

"Let go of me! Don't touch me!" I screamed as he ran his hands over my body and saw his eyes, filled with lust, turn golden, indicating that his wolf was present.

It was then that I felt his hands slide under my dress, touching my legs.

I had endured many things - abuse, beatings - but I couldn't allow this. It was then, when Kiran loosened his grip, that I delivered a knee to his groin, causing him to release me and fall to the floor in pain. I took advantage of the moment to run out of his room.

I ran, without looking back, into the forest, and I didn't stop until my legs gave out. I stumbled upon a cave I had never seen before and entered to seek refuge and rest. I sat on a rock, but I didn't know how long I had been running. I was exhausted, and at that moment, I couldn't take it anymore. Tears began to flow uncontrollably from my eyes - tears that I hadn't shed in 12 years, despite being beaten. I had promised myself that I wouldn't give them the satisfaction of seeing me defeated. But now, I couldn't bear it any longer. I cried like a little girl, releasing all the pain that had been pent up in my heart. I pleaded with the Moon Goddess for help, for I couldn't bear it anymore. I don't remember when I fell into a deep sleep.

My name is Kiran, I am the Alpha of the Sunshine pack, the third most important pack in the Great Confederation. I assumed this position when I was only 12 years old, in the most unexpected way. My father, Alpha Markus, had died of a heart attack, or so my mother told me.

It was a terrible blow for me, as I adored my father. He was my role model, and in my eyes, he was an exemplary man and the best husband. How wrong I was, and I found out in the worst possible way.

After burying my father, we arrived back at our pack house. My mother, Luna Solange, ordered one of the servants to take my twin siblings to their room and commanded me to go to my own room and not come out. At first, I thought about obeying, but seeing the anger on my mother's face, I decided to hide near the kitchen. From there, I observed as she headed towards a distant part of the house and forcibly dragged Aria, the little orphan girl my father brought to the pack, whom he claimed to have found during one of his travels.

Ever since that girl arrived, I found her very beautiful and I liked her a lot. That's why I always tried to defend her from my mother's mistreatment. I couldn't understand why she held such animosity towards her. What harm could she have done? But that day, I would discover the whole truth that would forever change my life.

After following my mother and witnessing how she locked Aria in a small, dirty room, I decided to confront her. I caught up to her as she reached her own room.

"Mother, why do you hate Aria so much? She hasn't done anything wrong, and I won't allow you to keep mistreating her."

"Kiran! What are you doing here? I ordered you to stay in your room. Go there immediately!"

"No, Mother! I am now the Alpha of this pack, and as such, I won't tolerate you hurting Aria. I like her a lot, and when she's older, I will make her my Luna."

"I can't believe what I just heard. This cannot be happening. I won't allow it." She grabs Kiran by the arm and pulls him into her room.

"Are you crazy? What you're suggesting between you two is impossible. Get that stupid idea out of your head, and over my dead body will that brat ever have anything with you."

"I'm not asking for your permission, Mother. As I said, I am the Alpha of this pack, and I decide about my own life. And if the reason you object is because she's an orphan, I don't care."

"It can't happen between you two because that brat is your father's ILLEGITIMATE CHILD! The great Alpha Markus didn't care about his family and slept with any Omega she-wolf. And not only that, he brought the product of his betrayal to live here."

After this revelation, Kiran was left stunned. He couldn't believe what his mother had just confessed. His father, his role model, was just a facade. And the worst part was about Aria, whom he had been thinking about since her arrival. He couldn't forget those hazel eyes. What a mockery of destiny and the Moon Goddess herself, whom he had fervently prayed to make that girl his mate. Now, she turned out to be his sister.

He left his mother's room, with a lost gaze and a heart shattered into pieces. His mother's words echoed in his head—HIS SISTER... ARIA WAS HIS SISTER. That day, he locked himself in his room and didn't come out for a month. He only opened the door to receive some food and water. Even then, his own mother didn't want to see him.

When he finally emerged from that self-imposed isolation, he was no longer the same person. The warmth in his gaze had disappeared, his heart had turned cold. He became ruthless and cruel, not only towards the people in the pack but especially towards Aria. He told himself that by treating her poorly, he could avoid developing any impure feelings in his heart for her.

Despite my efforts to hate Aria, I couldn't. Each passing day made me love her more. Watching her grow into a beautiful woman only intensified my desire for her. But I kept telling myself this couldn't be. She was my sister; what kind of sick person could I be to have such impure feelings?

I thought that when I turned 18, this torment would finally end. Once my wolf appeared, I could find my Mate, and this twisted feeling would come to an end. Another twist of fate and the Moon Goddess, my 18th birthday arrived. I felt my body burning, an internal fire consuming me, and I heard my wolf's voice in my mind.

Drako (Kiran's wolf):

"Kiran, relax. It will hurt at first, but everything will be fine."

I tried to relax, felt my bones breaking in unbearable pain, but suddenly it all stopped. Opening my eyes, I could see my paws and my fur, a reddish brown color. My wolf, Drako, stood at about 2.5 meters tall. I was thrilled to have finally met my wolf, but I couldn't wait to experience running in this new form. It didn't take long before I caught a whiff of mint and pine, my favorite scent. Drako yelled in my mind, MATE! She's our MATE! I followed the scent, which led me to the river. Slowly and quietly, I approached, and there she was, bathing with her clothes still on. The wet fabric clung to her body, making her look even more beautiful. To my shock, it was ARIA!

It couldn't be! What kind of punishment was I enduring? Just when I thought I could finally be free from this impure feeling, destiny and the Moon Goddess were once again laughing in my face. I ran away from there, but Drako insisted I go back to our mate. I told him it wasn't possible and severed the connection.

Years went by like this. Aria transformed into a stunning woman, and I continued to repress this insane feeling that consumed me. Whenever she came near, I had an uncontrollable urge to kiss her, to make her mine. But it was wrong. That's why I treated her poorly, to push her away. I had to avoid her at all costs. But my suffering was about to come to an end. In a few days, she would turn 18, and her wolf would manifest. I could reject her. Until then, all I could do was dream of her, even though it was wrong. But today, more than ever, I couldn't bear it any longer. I woke up thinking about her, as usual. I wondered how her lips would feel, how it would be to touch her skin. Unable to control myself, I began to pleasure myself, and for the first time in years, I said her name out loud, "Oh, Aria."

Just as I was enjoying the release, I felt a sudden impact on the door. Opening my eyes, I saw her standing there. I couldn't take it anymore, and Drako took over, launching himself at her, holding her forcefully. He said, "Do you like what you just saw?"

I saw her face flush with color, and in a trembling voice, she replied, "Alpha Kiran, I didn't mean to disturb you. Your mother asked me to wake you up for breakfast."

Her response angered me. Was I not attractive to this woman? I raised my voice this time and asked, "Did I ask you a question, orphan? Did you like what you saw? Do you know how many women would give anything to see me naked?"

Now it was her turn to raise her voice as she pleaded, "Alpha Kiran, please let me go!"

Let her go? I thought to myself. Didn't she feel anything for me? Not even a hint of desire in her eyes? It was at that moment that I regained complete control, wounded in my ego. I looked at her and said, "You should feel honored that I even bothered to look at you. Who would dare to give you a second thought? You're nothing more than a nameless orphan." As I touched her body, my downfall, I couldn't control myself any longer. I desired her, and I would make her mine.

She screams at me, "let me go! Don't touch me!!" Instead of stopping, her gaze excites me even more. She looks like a wild beast, and that only makes me desire her more. Nothing else matters now; it's just her and me. I start sliding my hands under her dress, caressing her legs. I want to reach her most intimate parts and possess her. Nothing else matters; she will be mine.

But then, I feel a strong, precise blow to my groin, causing me to fall in pain. She pushes me away and runs off. I try to get up, but I can't. Despite her small size, that woman knows how to defend herself.

As the door closes after Aria flees, I regain my senses and realize the abomination I was about to commit. I was going to forcefully take my own sister. I feel utterly despicable.

When I hear the pounding on my bedroom door again, I quickly put on some pants before opening it. It's my mother, but I don't let her speak. I tell her that I don't want to be disturbed and close the door.

After that terrible situation, I haven't left my room in the next two days. But today, I have to because it's my engagement ceremony with Maggie, whom my mother insists on making my Luna.
