On a summer evening, in a rented room near the chaotic street a young man was taking a nap on the table. The papers were spread that read SAMPLE WORKSHEET-2.

The young man looked to be in his early twenties with a delicate face that was pale and the beautiful plum blossom eyes had dark circles under them, the cherry-looking lips were pursed as it seemed he was having a nightmare. His beautiful facial features, enough to rival any male idol, couldn't hide his haggardness. Cold sweat was forming on his forehead and his brows were furrowed together.

With a hum he woke up, those eyes were pale brown which resembled that of hazelnuts. The corner of his eyes were red, and he was breathing unsteadily. He sighed after realizing that he had not yet completed his sample worksheets and had fallen asleep at some point in time due to tiredness.

He was Stefan. He had just graduated from Alford University and was currently preparing for the entrance examinations. He checked the time and his watch showed that it was already 05:30 pm. Suddenly he remembered that he had an appointment with his friend Lucas at 07:30 pm at Brady's Restaurant.

Although his friend was strange he never minded that because, when he had an accident 1 month ago it was Lucas who saved him. He accompanied Stefan during his recovery from injuries. He felt immensely grateful towards Lucas, that was the reason he never minded his strange attitude sometimes. He quickly finished his sample papers and by the time he realized, it was already 07:00 pm. It took 45 minutes to reach Brady's Restaurant from his house. He decided to take shortcuts and go through the alleys as he would be able to reach there by 07:30 pm.

Just after crossing two alleys, he discovers that the third alley was strangely quiet and it gave off an eerie feeling. His instincts were screaming for him to run away. But he decided against it as it was already 07:15 pm. He had to reach there as soon as possible because today they were going to discuss their new project.

He entered the alley and found out that it was all dark and he subconsciously tensed up. He was ready to run back any time. He heard a strange noise and before his mind could process it, he realized that his body was losing blood at an abnormal speed and he was losing consciousness.  Before closing his eyes he saw a strange man that had something in his hands. His breathing became weak and he gradually stopped breathing. He thought 'he is going to die soon'.

Stefan opened his eyes, and the first thing he did was to see if he was injured. But, he couldn't touch himself as he realized he was in his soul form. He was confused, but before he could think more deeply, he heard the same strange noises he heard before his death.

A shadow or more specifically a strange man was standing near his dead body and murmuring something. After coming close to the strange man, he realized that this strange man was wearing a cloak and he had a ferocious face. His face was so ferocious that even if Stefan knew this man couldn't see him, he still took three steps back.

The man's face looked like many faces were glued together to create a face or particularly a being that he knew nothing of. Instead of his hands, claws were present there, and he held a strange-looking staff. After a closer look, he realized that the staff was actually a human head, and it was glued together with fingers of different lengths. His shadow was constantly moving as if countless creatures were present in it.

Upon observing, Stefan could see many faces and hear cries of resentment. He was very scared, but he couldn't shout or scream in horror as he was already dead. After some time, he calmed down. He decided to observe this strange man, he saw the claws had a strange mark of a creature wearing a crown and this same mark was drawn on the ground where his dead body was present. Maybe this mark which gave off a dangerous feeling had something to do with his death. He was speaking in a strange rhythm, but each word gave off an ancient feeling with a special charm.

Stefan realized that there was another person present. For a moment he did not relate this person with Lucas, but after this person spoke he found something amiss. Something was wrong, his friend would never have this dark aura. He always gave a calm and peaceful feeling, and that was one of the reasons he became friends with Lucas.

Lucas spoke,  '' I have already dealt with him, Master! It is a full moon today, now you just have to search if the remnants of his soul have disappeared, and then we can begin the ceremony. After that, this body will be mine and I will snatch everything from him. His parents, friends, and even his special talent or should I say 'The Sword Physique'.''

''Hm,'' the strange man replied.

Stefan couldn't believe that the person he trusted the most would do something like this with him. In the state of extreme depression, he did not realize that his soul form was becoming more and more transparent. Before he disappeared, he had hatred and a deep sense of loss in his eyes. He couldn't understand how just because of his sword physique which he did not even know what it was, Lucas could betray him.

This time after he opened his eyes he remained calm, 'Maybe I will be punished in hell, but I don't even have my physical body. Is this the end for me?' He thought. After some time he realized that small spots of white light are getting attracted to him, but half of them are being devoured by one of the spots, and it continues growing bigger and bigger.

A mechanical voice said to him, '' LET'S GO, HOST''. Before he could ask where it was taking him, he lost consciousness.

In a dilapidated room, which consisted only of a table, a chair, a small window for ventilation, and a bed where lay a young man with long white hair which appeared to be silky and smooth. His facial features were small and delicate but with a hint of masculinity. If observed carefully, this young man closely resembled Stefan. Except for the hair which was white, it was as if he was Stefan himself.

After about 15 minutes, the sleeping young man's brows furrowed, and he woke up instantly. This young man was Stefan Raynott. He looked around alertly at his surroundings; his body tensing subconsciously due to being in an unfamiliar environment. He did not know where he was.

''Is anyone there?'' He asked nervously.

Nobody replied to him.

''Is anyone there? Can you tell me where is this?'' He shouted again.

'HELLO, HOST!!' This time, a voice replied to him.

''Who are you?'' asked Stefan.

As he looked around himself, he saw there was no one present around him. 'Then where did the voice come from?' He thought to himself.

''I am 'The Privilege System'. I was sent here to help you.'' The system replied.

''But Why? How did I end up here? Where is this? And what is a SYSTEM? This is not my body? I remember my hand had burn marks because I burned myself accidentally in my childhood.'' Stefan observed his hand as he asked a series of questions to the system.

''Calm down, Host! Let me solve your doubt's bit by bit. I am a System. Systems are created by gods or arch-wizards to help the wounded and wronged souls. Let me give you an e.g.; Maybe normally someone needs 10 years to learn the basics of magic, but with the system, they can kill some weak monsters (absorb their life force aka XP with the system) and instantly learn any skill.''

''And to clear your confusion, you are in an urban-fantasy world. Here, there are magicians and swordsmen, but they hardly ever appear in front of the public. They all work in secret to eliminate the enemies or more specifically monsters that appear through the holes. A person can only become either a magician or a swordsman throughout their lifetime. But let me tell you, host ,most people here are ordinary people and there are mercenary units that are specially trained to kill low-level monsters. Ordinary people here know the presence of holes. These holes are divided according to the levels. Every time a hole appears, it presents itself in a particular colour .

For the people of this place, it is common for them to deal with a hole representing a level of E and F. But it is slightly difficult to deal with the Level D hole. As that is the limit for them. The higher-ups deal with the level representing more danger, i.e. S, A, B, C. Usually, both the magicians and the swordsmen deal with the holes by forming a team. So far the S level has appeared 5 times and each time it had brought great destruction upon humanity.

''But why don't the higher-ups clear the lower levels also?'' asked Stefan in confusion.

''Because like this, ordinary people get a chance to grow and surpass the limits of the human body. Every 6 months, the higher-ups conduct a competition that is disguised as normal sparring. However, only the top twenty people who win and defeat the others know that. Then they are taken away by the higher-ups to go through strict training. After some years they operate and work for the higher-ups by remaining low-key among the ordinary people."
