“It’s time,”-Whispered Sophie.

In the same time, more than 10 people jumped out of the shadows and took places next to their leader. It was a perfect team of professional killers leaded by a gorgeous woman.

She was only 19, and everyone were amazed by her success. Sophie had long pink hair and deep blue eyes. Fragile innocent girl, but it’s better not tot mess up with her. In front of you is a leader of a largest mafia “Empire of the Night (EON)”, the most dangerous and heartless group in the South continent. Cross them their road at least once and you will pay with your life.

“Hello, Eric,”- said Sophie.

Eric Franklin - politician, leader of a smaller mafia. Trying to stop EON and take the whole power in the city.

“Oh, the Great Empire of the Night, is that all your people?”- laughed Eric. “ I’m afraid that you gonna lose this battle.” More than 100 people stood behind Eric.

“Kill them,”-said Sophie and smiled.

The sounds of battle were heard, as a result of which, all 100 people were killed. Sophie with her people stood in their places as before.

Eric hesitated. He tried to ran away, but someone shot him in the leg.

“Are you trying to run, Great Eric?”-asked a mocking voice. Eric slowly turned around and saw Sophie with her friend.

Diana is the best friend of Sophie. She has short brown hair and eyes same color. Beautiful and heartless, just like her friend. They always go on tasks together and break up only on special occasions.

Sophie put a blade to Eric’s throat.

“No, please! You can’t do this! I’ll do everything you want!”-begged Eric.

“Ugh, how boring”,-said Diana and defiantly yawned. “What do you looking at? Just kill him!”

Sophie looked at Eric’s eyes.

“Are you afraid of death, Boss Eric?”-asked she.

Eric slowly nodded his head.

“Huh, well, I’ll let you go, if you convince me. You have 10 seconds.”

“1....2....”

“I..I..I didn’t want to stop you from your goals!”- screamed Eric.

“3....4....”

“It’s just a mistake!! I didn’t mean to!”

“It was Mr Jaden, not me!”

“He stole the documents!”

“ IM BEGGING YOU!”

“Time is up.” Sophie slashed a blade down his throat.

Blood spilled around a disgusting dead body.

“Let’s go”,- said Sophie and turned to her best friend. “ Find all latest information about Boss Jaden.”

“As your wish,”- said Diana. “I’ll do this tomorrow.”

“Thanks, Di,”-Sophie said.

“I’m coming for you, Jaden Spencer.”

“LORA! IN MY OFFICE! NOW!”- shouted Sophie.

Lora was a pretty little secretary of miss Sophie. She was afraid of her boss, just like the others. She worked for Sophie for about 2 years, and her boss always though Lora was very clever and ambitious.

Sophie owned a big company called “S Corporation”- one of the leading financial companies. Lora worked here. In a huge, expensive glass office, which looked like a palace. The best work for a young woman.

“Miss Fellon isn’t in a mood today, isn’t she?”- Lora sounded disappointed.

“LORA!!”

“On my way!”- answered Lora and hurried to Sophie’s office.

\~Damn! Is she going to kill me?\~ - though Lora while she ran along the steps of the golden staircase, leading to the main office

“I’m here, miss Fellon.”

“Good. Why did it take you so long to get to my office? Wait don’t answer. Actually, I don’t care”,-said Sophie Fellon. “Have you got any news for me?”

“Miss Diana asked me to bring you her report about mr Jaden Spencer,”-quickly said Lora. “Here’s the all information about his latest movements, his biography, property, his photos and amount of money on his bank account.”

“Well done, Diana,"- said Sophie and nodded in satisfaction. “You may go.”

Lora bowed slightly and left, closing the door behind her.

Sophie started to read all the information about Jaden Spencer-her enemy. He is also a leader of mafia called “Dark League”, which was in no way inferior to “EON”. Jaden is 25 years old and he’s extremely rich. He is in the Senate and he has a huge power in this city. Spencer is also the first suspect in the murder of Sophie’s parents, so Sophie hates him.

\~He’s very dangerous, even for me,\~ - though Sophie. She looked again in the paper, and name “Taste of Life” caught her eye. It was a name of a nightclub where Jaden Spencer liked to spend his time.

\~It says that Boss J goes there every Saturday,\~ - though Sophie. \~ i can catch him there.\~

Night. Nightclub “Taste of Life”

Sophie got out of a black expensive car and headed towards the entrance. Two more people followed her. It was her best friend Diana and her guy best friend Sam.

Sam had black hair and brown eyes. He was an owner of the biggest and richest bank and Sophie’s guy Bff.

“Sophie is stunning today)”- said Sam to Diana.

And it was true. Sophie was wearing a tight-fitting gold dress with a long plume. Her long pink hair flowed over her shoulders, and a golden wreath of flowers hung on her head. She had high heels on her feet. Skillfully applied makeup flaunted her face, and on her neck, there was a beautiful necklace in form of a flame - the last gift of her father.

“Diana, you go to the left, Sam - to the right”-commanded Sophie. “I’ll go straight.... And.. Try not to be THAT suspicious.”

Sam and Diana nodded their heads and dispersed in different directions.

Sophie walked slowly forward. She peered into the crowd, trying to find among the people a trace of bright red hair.

Suddenly, she felt that someone is watching her. Someone hugged her waist, and a familiar voice sounded over her ear:

“ Looking for me?”

“Looking for me?”

Sophie quickly turned around.

“You?”-she asked.

A tall, handsome man stood in front of her. His red hair fell beautifully on his face, and his hazel eyes burned in the semi-darkness. He was dressed in a suit that fit perfectly, and a blue bow tie was neatly tied around his neck.

\~He hasn’t changed a bit,\~-thought Sophie: \~The same smug jerk, with a same devil smile.\~

“Expected someone else, baby?”- asked Spencer.

Sophie became red:

“Don’t call me that, jerk. I’m here to make a deal, not to flirt with you.”

“A deeeaal.. Hmm.. Interesting.”- said Jaden:

“But I’m afraid, I’m not making deals today.”

“I know you stole my birth documents”,- ignored him Sophie.

“Let me guess, you want them back?”

“I spend my whole life trying to get them, and then I was closer than ever it was YOU who stole them from me!”- Said Sophie angrily and pushed Jaden against the wall.

“You’re so pretty when you’re angry,”- laughed Jaden. “ I actually can give them back to you, but with one condition”.

He leant very close to Sophie.

“Be my girlfriend.”

“Eww, disgusting ,”- Sophie pushed him away. “Actually, I have a better idea”.

She straightened her beautiful dress and whispered softly: “Remember that password for the safe in the main office of the Senate?

You can learn everything about their plans for the city”.

“You know me better than anybody else,”- said Jaden with amazement.

“Yeah, it’s because we are enemies.”- said Sophie. “ So, I hope we have a deal”.

“Tonight , at the bridge, and btw, that dress on you is amazing”,- whispered Jaden and disappeared into the crowd.

\~Ugh, I hate him!\~-though Sophie and went to look for her friends.

Big Bridge. 3.00 am.

Sophie stood at the edge of the bridge and looked at the starry sky. She was a little distant that such a beautiful night she had to spend on work. Girl never actually liked being a mafia leader. Sometimes she just wanted to have a normal life, normal work, friends. She wanted just to be happy but she avoided even thinking about it.

\~This is my honor, my destiny to take revenge on the people who killed my family! There is no time to dream\~,- though Sophie.

“Missed me?”- someone said.

Sophie wasn’t surprised - Jaden liked to appear suddenly.

“So, you came,”- said Sophie and turned slowly to her enemy.

“Of course l did,”- said Spencer and took out some papers from his bag. “I fulfilled my end of the bargain, now it’s your turn”.

“Ugh, how unofficial,”- Sophie chuckled.

“You know how I hate this mafia official transactions”,- laughed Jaden.

Sophie looked at the documents. Everything seemed to be normal.

“Very well”,- Sophie gave to Jaden a small piece of paper with a code. Their eyes met for a second, and then Sophie turned and walked away. Just for a moment, a trail of pink hair with a scent of lavender flashed in front of Jaden’s face, and then his mysterious enemy disappeared behind the doors of a black car.

Jaden was in no hurry to leave. He was thinking about what he just saw. Sophie - his greatest enemy, brave, strong and heartless woman, stood on the bridge and looked at the sky. She seemed so peaceful and happy about this moment! Jaden was ready to swear he noticed the sadness in her eyes for a second.

\~Interesting\~,- he thought. \~Maybe, she is not that simple.\~

Jaden returned to his office at 5.00 am. He wasn’t tired. Hour ago, he instructed his people to open the safe with a code that Sophie gave him. Everything was as planned.

“Boss Jaden! Please spare me!”- someone yelled.

“Ugh, what it is?”- asked Spencer.

“The code is wrong!”- said man.

“I really was expecting that.”- laughed Jaden. “Sophie gave me the wrong code on purpose. But don’t worry - we will open the safe soon. I also prepared a surprise for her. and yet we are very similar.”
