In the land of valerium ,nestled amidst rolling hills and vibrant meadows,the enchanting,fair skinned , blonde haired , hazel eyed Amelia led a life shrouded in solitude .her heart yearned for love but fate had other plans.Bound by an unyielding tradition ,she found herself ****** into a contractual marriage ,believing it to be the only part destiny had laid out for her .

Her contractual husband Phillip ,who was known in the town as a man of many women ,he would sleep around with various women and come back almost never . amelia knew of all these things but what could she do ,who could she tell ,who would give her even a bit of listening ears ,she was all alone in the world ,in this hell’s union made by her parents ,by tradition .she lived her days with fading hope that something would happen and it would break her out of this hell hole .

The days her husband would eventually come back would be the worst days ever , because he would be drunk through out ,he would curse at her , complain about everything , ridicule her sometimes even going as far as laying his hands on her . She couldn’t do anything about it other than to endure this hell on earth , she would cry herself to sleep almost everyday ,praying and begging For any help that would come or could come her way

Amelia went on living the same way ,every single day ,she had her daily routine,she would wake up,clean the house,cook and she would head to the market ,where she had this little shoe shop .Amelia was well known around the town as the only shoe shop with the most beautiful maiden as it’s head .her shop was mostly filled with men as they wanted to also behold this beauty for themselves ,they would troupe in and out daily ,it got too much to the point the other town’s women became envious of her ,they despised her ,they would always talk behind her back and talk bad about her because they were simply jealous..

Amelia endured this every day , not having even a single friend to talk too because all the maiden’s disliked her , She would always be on her own and minding her business , focusing on her little shoe shop ,which was the only thing she had that was keeping her going .

Days went by ,seasons changed ,it was now winter in the town of valerium . Amelia went to her shop as usual doing her daily sales with the continuous men trouping in and out most not to even purchase shoes but to behold her beauty, whereas she was attending to the one’s that actually wanted to purchase shoes , Little did she know she was about to feel alive once more .

A whisper of change brushed against her cheek,stirring the dormant embers in her soul .a stranger appeared in the cold winter of valerium ,his presence igniting a spark of curiosity deep within Amelia’s heart .with eyes as fierce as a tempest and a smile as warm as the morning sun ,The stranger looked lost from her view as she was staring unknowingly at him through her shop’s window ,

It was like he was searching for something , getting closer and closer to her ,the next thing he was in front of her shop , but Amelia still didn’t move as she was lost in his looks , lost in his presence ,his well carved stoic face , sharp jawline ,dark hair , blue eyes there was this mystery about him that got her excited , that gave her this butterfly sensation in her belly ,what was this feeling she wondered,she had never felt like this before , he seemed to hold the key to the world Amelia has never dared to imagine , and finally he entered the shop bringing Amelia back from her day dream, he spoke” but it was as if Amelia had entered into another trans ,she first came to the conclusion that he wasn’t from around here ,valerium that is ,he sounded American ,she knew as a result of all the movies and ads she had watched,his voice and tone seemed to have this deep effect on her as if she was falling into an abyss but she didn’t want to be discovered . And then he spoke again finally bringing her back from that far journey, he asked “ can I get a new pair of shoes” and she replied uhmm yes sure” feeling shy she asked what size do you wear¿he said I wear B49(Big 49) and she hurried on scurryly and clumsily,which made him give a smirk ,which was immediately concealed when she turned back , she packaged the shoes , paid and then off he went .

As he turned back and Was leaving Amelia continued her staring , when he reached the door to go out , he suddenly turned back catching her gaze , he asked “ what’s your name if I may ask” shocked by his question to her she answered stuttering m m my name is Amelia . He said nice to meet you and gave one last smirk which she saw and almost fainted at the sight of it ,before she could get herself back and ask what’s his name was , he had already left . She wondered if she would ever see him again but she doubted , still reminiscing on the feeling she felt , his looks , his face ,his demeanor as he smirked at her she even caught a glimpse of his teeth , he had this vampire looking teeth that was well fitted with his face and also with his smile . Another bell ring brought her back to reality, it was the regular customers . after attending to the customers she finally started preparing to go home ,back to that place that seemed like another world her personal hell .

She got home slumped down on the couch as usual her husband wasn’t around, he was probably out drinking and misbehaving , she sighed , still resting on the couch her thoughts went back to early this night when she had met with a mystery that she unconsciously wanted to unravel . She thought

As there path intertwined ,secrets were unveiled and she thought maybe it was love but she hadn’t felt it before,therefore she had no idea .Amelia thought that maybe love was not a mere illusion, but a vibrant tapestry of emotions waiting to be unraveled . with every stolen glances ,she felt the shackles of her contractual marriage loosen and a new found sense of freedom unfurled within her .

From that moment on ,she began to plan her escape, The next morning she woke up still with the thought from last night , How would she do it she wondered ,feeling scared of what would happen ,the outcome of things if she were to be caught,thinking of the perfect time ,that is ,when everywhere seemed a bit silent and quiet .After almost thinking through out the whole day ,with a heart full of determination ,she finally mustered the courage to escape the grasp of her contractual marriage .

In the dead of the night,she slipped away from the opulent estate that had become her prison ,leaving behind the life she had once resigned herself too. with light clothes and food she had packed ,she started her journey not knowing where she was going or what would happen next , she thought to herself anything is better than staying in that prison

She took the valerium enchanted forest path ,scared and walking in darkness with but a single flashlight that would soon die ,she walked for a very long time , hours had passed ,already getting tired and hungry,she had also run out of food some hours ago . she searched for refuge anywhere that she could find but she also said to herself,how would she find anything in the middle of a forest .

She continued her walk ,she finally gave up and slumped on the floor tired and hungry , as she layed on the floor , looking at the stars that were shining so bright in the sky , her gaze wondering around, she then spotted a light in the distance, she got up looking that direction,thinking in her mind what could that be , she headed towards the light and finally as fate would have it , Amelia found a cabin ,she wondered how come ,how is this cabin here but because she was very tired she didn’t think too much about it ,she went towards it ,reaching the front door “what a scary cabin in the most unexpected place ever “ she said. A secluded cabin hidden deep within the enchanted forest of valerium . Already at the front door , before she could knock on the door whether there was anybody that inhabits the place ,the door went open and her eyes widened in shocked as she saw the person who would forever change the course of her life .

A person known as Lucian Blackwood ,a world renowned billionaire , known for his enigmatic persona , but she didn’t know all this , she just knew him as the person that made her heart ,mind , body and soul turn upside down , and here he was standing in front of her , in this cabin , in the most unexpected place in the world . She had a lot of questions swarming in her mind , how could he be here , in this place for that matter , she was undeniably shocked that she couldn’t speak anymore , still staring at him lost in thought . One can’t lie he was also shocked and intrigued, how was she here , how was she standing in front of me right now , what was she doing in the forest all alone by this time , holding a bag , what happened , could she be running away or what exactly, but with all these thoughts his face was still as stoic as ever , and then He finally spoke “ To what do I owe this visit Amelia “

And just like that she was put out of her trans and with a stutter she said how how are you here , what are you doing here , do you live here , she had so many questions as she was confused , he then turned back and went in leaving the door open , obviously gesturing that she could come in if she wanted too , she then entered the cabin , still holding her bag , she was in awe at how beautiful the cabin was , one could tell that money was put into it , it looked like the type she always saw on tv and ads ,the walls were dark brown , with comfy looking couch’s , The was also a chandelier in the middle and the place smelled like a mixture of chocolate and cocoa , with few paintings around and then the fire place where she saw him putting in the freshly cut firewood’s . She halted in her eyes he looked like a mythical creature, Tall and commanding , he possessed an aura that spoke of untamed powers and an air of mystery that both intrigued and unnerved her , Little did she know that he actually had a breathtaking secret —he was a werewolf….

She walked up too him , I never got your name “she said , he replied Lucian that’s my name , not knowing what else to say Amelia stayed quiet ,in their silence staring at each other , Amelia feeling awkward . After he was done with the fire place , Lucian went to take a sit in a chair that looked made for him and him alone , he looked like a god she thought with the light a bit dim and giving his face this depth and mystery . Amelia followed and took a sit opposite him ,finally he said , what are you doing this far out ¿ she said I should be asking you that . I live here he retorted so now back to you what are you doing this far out , not that it wasn’t obvious but she replied I’m running away , I can see that he said, as he was looking at her bag , so why if I may ask , normally she wouldn’t have answered but she didn’t know why but she felt so comfortable and free like she could tell him anything and everything and then she said I can’t stay there anymore, I just can’t that’s why I decided to leave ,he said run you mean ,she said yh yh whatever . Why couldn’t you stay he said , and as if she was being controlled she started telling him everything ,her contractual marriage made by her parents,how she lived her life miserably ,how every one hated her .after she was done telling him everything,his only replies were you are free to stay if you want too and help yourself with anything if you’re hungry , he immediately got up and went up to his room , leaving her in the parlor with her thoughts . She was Cursing at him saying after I told you all these all you could say is stay if you want too, but then again that meant something too right¿ she thought to herself throughout everything she said his facial expression didn’t change, his face was still as calm , stoic and composed as usual, is that how he always is but she remembered the time he gave a smirk and she unconsciously smiled ,” stomach growling “ Amelia remembered that she was hungry , heading to the kitchen to see what she could find to eat on opening the fridge she was amazed she had never seen such filled up fridge before , it was filled from the bottom to the top , with different things ,some she knew ,some she hasn’t ever seen before , dumbfounded on what to even take, Amelia finally settling with her favorite smiling it was Mac and cheese , she went back to sit and enjoy it after eating and taking a glass of juice , Amelia slumped on the couch,wondering what her husband reaction would be when he comes back as finds out that she ran away , well that doesn’t concern her anymore she said to herself ,as she closed her eyes ,she heard creaking,her eyes flew open , she immediately got up feeling scared ,still hearing the sound,she slowly went towards the noise,which led her to the stairs ,still listening trying to figure out what exactly the sound was “the noise getting louder and closer “squinting her eyes to see what that was ,as it got close enough she was scared to death ,he heart beating very fast and about to run away that’s when Lucian voice came in and he said your room is this way and she finally saw his sillouhette coming down from the stairs . As if she was holding her breath ,she finally let out a huge sigh and rested her lifted shoulders,she went back to the living room took her things and followed him to the room he was going to ,he reached the door,opened it and said this is your room ,he turned around and left . Amelia entered the room in awe so beautiful she said , she dropped her bags in the wardrobe , took a short bath as she was tired she laid down on the bed yawning “ she finally closed her eyes and slept off….

Meanwhile in Amelia’s home trouble was brewing ,Phillip had come back home only to find that Amelia wasn’t there .At first he just thought that she went to the market to get somethings but time went by and still no sign of his wife ,he was getting anxious and angry ready to bring the roof down at any moment, it was not that he was worried about her , it was just that he was thinking what gave her the right to leave the house and still not return by this time .Phillip went to the market to her shop to see if she was there , but she wasn’t he asked around but no one knew anything, he then

Went to his neighbors to ask if any of them knows where Amelia is or had seen when she left.but like the market people no one knew her whereabouts ,At this point Phillip was boiling about to explode in his house ,he was breaking things in a fit of rage ,he finally left the house to his usual spot where he would drink and mess around with women ,but this time was different he drank to stupor and was being very aggressive to the point that he picked a fight with another customer , Exchange punches with one another .but of course he was loosing ,the other person finally landed the final blow on him which was very brutal, Phillip slumped and fainted .when he woke up was the next day evening ,the bartender was kind enough to carry him home and even wait till he woke up.when Phillip finally woke up ,he looked around,as if he was confused and didn’t know where is was ,his head started aching him ,as a result of last night excessive drinking (hangover) .phillip then started shouting and calling the name Amelia, calling the name continuously thinking she should have been back by now, That was when the bartender whose name was Andrew heard him shouting and entered the room .As Phillip was about to say Amelia where the hell have you been,he then looked well and say it was Andrew the bartender “angry Phillip asked,where is Amelia my wife ¿ Andrew replied you have a wife ,Andrew thought to himself he has a wife and he does all sorts of things like that in the bar ,definitely he must not love his wife or it must be an arranged marriage ,because that’s the only explanation for such behaviors” . Phillip said again so you didn’t see any person in this house ¿ Andrew replied no I didn’t when I brought you here it was empty and even a mess. Phillips rage continued,finally coming to the conclusion that Amelia had run away ,there and then he made a promise to himself that he would find her and ruin her . “so you think you can run away from me ,saying to himself laughing,we shall see then ,wherever you are ,whether it’s the ends of this earth,heaven or hell I will find you and destroy you,I swear it . He just couldn’t bare the fact that she left him. Around like 6 o’clock in the evening,Andrew finally left and went back to the bar .

Phillip got up,went to the kitchen,opened the fridge,luckily he saw left over porridge,he took it out warmed it a bit and started eating it . When he was done he went to the parlor sat down and turned on the tv but we all know he couldn’t pay attention to it,his thoughts wondered of thinking of what he would do ,how he would find her . staring blankly at the tv , Phillip then remembered that there was this his friend that was looking for someone a long time ago and with whatever means she used ,she found the person . Should I go and meet her . Her name was devin ,maybe I should. After thinking and thinking he came to a conclusion that he would go and seek Devin out ,maybe she would be able to help him .”note that Devin doesn’t stay in valerium, she stays in a town called libra which is like three towns after valerium . Five days after Phillip finally set out on his journey to seek out devin who he assumed could help him find Amelia.The journey to libra usually take one —two weeks at most ,he would have to stop in each town and take a different vechicle that would take him to the next town.

Two weeks later

Phillip finally made it to the town of libra ,a town

Filled with bandits ,crooks,criminals.the town was well known because of its bad reputation and this is the place Phillip had lived in before,a lot had changed he said. After dropping his luggage off in a nearby inn,he didn’t waste any time he set out to find devin . He really didn’t know where she lived as they haven’t spoken in years as a result of he got married and left her “note Devin is Phillip ex” he went around asking people and describing her for them,whether they knew where she lived but the search seemed futile.nevertheless he still continued,one would ask what was driving him to keep working tirelessly and endlessly just to find Amelia. The answer is ,it wasn’t love ,it was hatred.with time he had grown to depise her deeply,wishing the worst things for her even death and it was partly jealousy,he also had a feeling that Amelia left him to go with another person another man.

Late in the afternoon Phillip was already getting tired,so he stopped at a bar “obviously “ entered and started drinking , but don’t think he stopped looking for devin ,everyone who would come to the table to order drinks he would ask,he did that till night time,till he asked someone and to his luck the person knew her and offered to take him to her house ,which he was very grateful about .you know why ¿ because he was one step closer to finding Amelia. They reached devin side and the person stopped and pointed to her house warning him about devin ,telling him that she was dangerous that he should be very careful after that the stranger left ,Phillip didn’t even bother asking for the mans name as he wasn’t interested . He then reached the front door of Devins house and knocked , after knocking continuously , the door finally went open.
