Omega Design: A Love Story In The Omegaverse

Chapter 1 - The Meeting

Rio had always been cognizant of the dynamics between omegas and alphas. He had seen enough in his life to understand that as an omega, he had to tread carefully in the world of alphas. He had worked hard to establish himself as an interior designer, and he was good at what he did. After all, it was his passion. He enjoyed decorating spaces, making them come alive with his imagination.

He was sitting in his office at his design studio, going through the emails on his laptop when his assistant, Lisa, knocked on his door. "Rio, we have a potential client. An alpha named Azark is looking for an interior designer to design his new home. He wants to set up a meeting with you."

Rio leaned back in his chair and took a deep breath. He had a policy of not working with alphas. There were just too many complications that came with it. However, he was intrigued. Azark was a successful writer. Rio had read a few of his books, and they were interesting. He pondered the idea for a moment before nodding, "Set up a meeting for tomorrow."

The next day, Rio arrived early at a fancy restaurant in the city where they were supposed to meet. Rio had dressed up, donning his signature all-black outfit. He ran a hand through his hair, took a deep breath, and walked in.

Azark was seated at a table in the corner. He had his back to the wall, and his eyes were on the door. As Rio walked in, he stood up, motioning to the seat across from him. "Rio, it's good to meet you."

Rio was taken aback by how good-looking Azark was. The man was tall, with a well-built physique and a chiseled jawline. He was wearing a crisp white shirt that accentuated his muscular body, and his dark hair was styled perfectly. Rio forced himself not to be distracted by his alpha presence and took the seat across from him.

"Mr. Azark, it's my pleasure," Rio said, keeping his voice level.

"Please, call me Azark," the alpha said, flashing a winning smile.

"Very well, Azark. What brings you here today?" Rio asked, keeping his professional demeanor intact.

"I'm looking for someone to design my new home," Azark began, watching Rio intensely. "I want it to be a space where I can relax, unwind and escape when I need to. With your expertise, I believe that you will be able to create just the right atmosphere."

Rio listened intently, considering Azark's words. He still had reservations about working with an alpha, but he was curious.

"I see. Well, I would need to see the space and have a better understanding of your vision to recommend a design," Rio said thoughtfully.

"Of course. I'll have my assistant send you all the details," Azark said, pulling out a card from his pocket. "I look forward to working with you, Rio."

Rio took the card and nodded before getting up. He felt a sense of relief wash over him as he left the restaurant. However, he couldn't shake off the feeling that he was getting in over his head with Azark. He had a sinking feeling in his stomach, but he didn't know why. Something told him that this project wasn't going to be easy.

Chapter 2 - The First Meeting at Azark's House

The moment Rio stepped inside the grand gates of Azark's mansion, he knew he was in for something special. The driveway leading up to the house was lined with perfectly manicured gardens and fountains. As he walked towards the entrance, he couldn't help but admire the grandeur of the Georgian-style estate.

Azark was waiting for him at the entrance, motioning him inside. "Welcome, Rio. Before we start, I have to warn you about something. My home is quite...unusual."

Rio raised an eyebrow. "Unusual?"

Azark hesitated for a second before continuing, "Yes, I'm an alpha, as you know, but I live in the Omegaverse. Don't be alarmed by anything you see or hear. It's just how things are here."

Rio paused, considering Azark's words. He had heard about the Omegaverse, but he had never been to one before. He knew that it was a world where alphas and omegas lived together, but the dynamics were different from what he was used to.

"Okay," he said, quietly.

Azark led Rio through the spacious entry hall, down a long corridor, and into the living room, which had a magnificent view of the gardens outside. The room was decorated in warm tones of brown and gold, with leather furnishings and a large fireplace.

Azark gestured towards the couch. "Please, make yourself comfortable."

Rio took a seat on the couch, taking in his surroundings. He couldn't help but feel a little out of place here. He had never been in an Omegaverse home before, and the atmosphere was different. He sensed something in the air, something that he couldn't quite place.

"Would you like something to drink?" Azark asked, breaking the silence.

Rio nodded, "Yes, please. Water is fine."

Azark disappeared into the kitchen, leaving Rio alone in the living room. As he waited, Rio took out his notebook and began jotting down ideas for the space. He was deep in thought when Azark returned, carrying a tray with water and glasses.

They spent the next few hours discussing the project, and Rio found Azark to be an engaged client. He had a clear vision of what he wanted, but he was open to Rio's ideas too. They talked about the color scheme, the furniture, and the lighting. Rio was excited about the project, and he knew that he would be able to create something exceptional.

As they spoke, Rio couldn't help but feel drawn to Azark. He was charming and intelligent, and Rio found himself enjoying their conversation. He tried to push his feelings to the back of his mind; he didn't want to get too close to an alpha. He knew better than that. Alphas always wanted something from omegas, and he didn't want to put himself in that position.

At the end of their meeting, Azark walked Rio to the door. "Thank you for coming. I'm looking forward to seeing the design you come up with."

Rio nodded, "I'll send you the proposal as soon as possible," he said before stepping out into the warm sunshine.

As he walked towards his car, Rio couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and apprehension. He was determined to create something amazing for Azark, but he knew that working with an alpha would come with its own set of challenges. He wasn't sure if he was ready for what lay ahead.

Chapter 3 - The Start of the Project

Rio poured himself a cup of coffee and settled into his office chair. It had been a week since the meeting at Azark's house, and he had been working tirelessly on the design proposal. He spent hours creating mood boards, researching materials, and drafting sketches. He wanted to make sure that everything was perfect before presenting it to Azark.

Finally, it was ready. Rio took a deep breath, attached the proposal to an email, and hit send. He sat back in his chair and closed his eyes, hoping that Azark would like what he had created.

The next morning, Rio was pleasantly surprised to see an email from Azark waiting in his inbox. He eagerly opened it, hoping for good news. Azark had loved the design, and he wanted to book Rio for the project.

Rio smiled to himself, feeling a sense of accomplishment. But he knew that the hard work was only just beginning.

Over the next few weeks, Rio immersed himself in the project. He spent hours working with Azark, finalizing the design and choosing the materials. He visited the site several times, coordinating with the contractors, and overseeing the installation of the design elements.

But as the project progressed, Rio found himself getting more and more drawn to Azark. They had grown closer, spending hours working together, discussing every detail of the project. Rio found himself enjoying Azark's company, even though he knew it was dangerous to let his guard down.

One day, as they were going over the final details of the project, Azark asked Rio a question that caught him off guard.

"Rio, would you like to have dinner with me tonight?"

Rio hesitated for a moment, feeling a mix of attraction and apprehension. He didn't want to blur the lines between them, but he couldn't help but be drawn to Azark.

"Um, sure," he said, trying to keep his voice steady.

"Great, I'll pick you up at eight," Azark said, smiling.

That evening, Azark arrived at Rio's apartment, looking as handsome as ever. He took Rio to a fancy Italian restaurant, where they had one of the best meals of Rio's life.

As they talked and laughed, Rio found himself opening up to Azark. He told him about his life, his struggles as an omega in a world dominated by alphas. He expected Azark to be like the others, to see him as just another omega to dominate or use for his pleasure. But to his surprise, Azark was kind and understanding. He listened to Rio's story with empathy, and Rio found himself feeling safe with him.

After dinner, as they stood outside Rio's apartment building, Azark leaned in and kissed Rio's cheek.

"Thank you for a wonderful evening," he said softly.

Rio's heart raced as he felt the warmth of Azark's lips on his skin. It was a simple gesture, but it meant so much to him.

As Azark drove away, Rio couldn't help but wonder what would happen next. He had let his guard down with an alpha, and he wasn't sure if that was a good thing. Would Azark turn out to be like all the rest, or was there something more between them?
