Thank you for going this far even though my story is a little bit messy. ‘The Twisted Alice and Her Bunny Butler’ story was just made for fun and I just want to share to all of you what is on my small brain because I’m always imagining things whether it is fantasy things or some reality situations.

I got inspired by other authors that is why I want to give it a try and started to create some short stories.

I may not be active these following days and I will be irregularly update my story due to school works. I’m sorry about that because I started to get busy so, I hope that you will continue reading my story even though I’m not good in English and I don’t have any writing stories experience hahaha I will always remain a newbie author.

But, with this small views and small likes, I still feel blessed that some readers try to read my story. (You are always welcome to read my story. It is totally free! hahaha)

C H A P T E R 14 – Cheshire's Story

The two were having a fancy dinner at the French cuisine. Even Tada and Cheshire didn’t have enough money still, they followed them and just ordered some iced tea only. By the power of Cheshire’s cat ears, he was able to hear Alice’s conversation from the distance. The talked casually to each other and their topic went to a movie they’ve watched.

“The movie is so lovely” Alice complemented.

“You’re right. The ending was completely hanging but it was still amazing!” The two laughed and smiled at each other. Cheshire barely heard that and started to mimic their voices andmade some gestures and Tada sweat dropped at him.

“Kei, what kind of person do you like?” Alice asked a sudden question.

“Me? Uhh. I like a kind and shy type person.” He uttered.

“and you’re one of my favorite, Alice.” Alice blushed to his answer, making the cat rolled his eyes. Looks like the cat started to get upset. He aggressively drunk the iced tea and looked down.

“I don’t want to hear his sweet words anymore. It is such a pain of the ass” He sighed. Tada was thinking why he got stuck with childish Cheshire.

“Hey Cheshire, why do you want to protect Alice? Well, she can protect herself” Tada said.

“She may be strong, but she’s really a fragile. That’s why I want to protect her.” He replied and suddenly his cheeks were in flushed. Tada went speechless. He knew what the cat felt. He waited to Cheshire to tell him the truth.

“I like her.”

“I just can’t confess to her. I’m such a coward” He clenched his hand and turned into a fist. He continued.

“When I first met Alice in the wonderland with Laurence, her dress was ruined and her hair was so long. I thought she would be happy that she escaped from the tower back then but, she cried her heart out.”

“She felt guilt after she left her sister. She was so weak that I decided to be her friend. I comforted her and listened to her stories until, the Queen of Hearts decided to train her to become strong that she will be the next protector of the Tada’s generation.” Tada focused more on his story.

“She learnt how to fight and did a perfect gun shots. That was when her smile faded and became emotionless. She became professional and short-tempered girl.”

“She didn’t cry anymore but I know deep inside, her heart is still crying while remembering the painful past she had.” After listening to Cheshire’s story, Tada finally realize that Alice wasn’t really bad. He looked at Alice smiling and his view changed, thinking is really kind.

“If I saw Alice’s smiling face, it made me happy for her.”

“But, seeing Alice smiling to that guy, I’m feel pain.”

Tada didn’t know what to do but instead, waiting for him to feel back to normal. It must be hard for Cheshire for having a one-sided love for Alice. To be honest, seeing the happy Alice made Tada felt a little sting in his heart again. He touched his chest, feeling his heartbeat. He bit his lower lip.

“Okay. That’s all for today. Let’s go, Tada-san” The two boys stood up. They were not hiding anymore. They walked across to them but then, Alice barely saw them.

“Cheshire? Tada? What are you two doing here?” Alice questioned. Cheshire laughed and became childish again.

“Oh, it’s Alice-chan!” He said like he just met Alice coincidentally.

“We’re just.. uhh. Roaming around. This place is wonderful” Tada commented.

“Are these two are your friends?” Hirose questioned

“Y-yes”

“That’s great. Me and Alice are going to the fireworks festival on Wednesday. Perhaps, if you like to come with us, I will be glad to welcome you two.”

Hirose invited the two. Tada and Cheshire stared at each other and thought of the same answer. Cheshire laughed and patted the prince’s shoulder and said,

“I’m afraid to say this but I’m… I’m afraid of fireworks”

“Huh? I thought you like-” Alice cut off her question when he saw Cheshire’s playful smile. She shut her mouth and nodded at him.

“Well, how about you, Mr. Second?” Tada weakly laughed

Hirose and Tada knew each other because of their school rankings. Sometimes, Tada got first but then in the next semester, Hirose got the top.

“U-uhh. I can’t. I have plans on that day.”

“Oh, I see”

“Well, we have to go now. Bye Alice-chan. Have fun!” They exchanged their goodbyes and left.

Watching fireworks is one of a romantic moment for couples. Tada knew that it would be a pain if he will be a third wheel to them. The reason why Tada doesn’t want to go was he just want Alice to be happy with Hirose.

C H A P T E R 15 – Laughter (Special Chapter)

One fine day in the country, Japan. Even with this hot and humid weather, people were busy preparing for tomorrow’s Fireworks Festival. As for Tada Natsume, it was too early for him to watch anime but no one can’t stop him. He wrapped himself a blanket and ate a pack of potato chips. When there was a funny scene in the anime, he really burst into laughter. Oftentimes, he touched his chest to feel the romantic moments and kept saying he fell in love on that girl character then make some weird noises.

What exactly does he really do?

What kind of weird noises?

Alice couldn’t take it anymore but to point her gun at him but Tada didn’t give her a reaction. He just focused on the screen and that made Alice irritated for ignoring her. She deeply sighed and sat on his bed, sipping her tea. Then, another laugh came from Tada and he started to roll on the floor. “What’s so funny about that?” Alice straightly asked. Tada stopped and looked at her with a blank face.

“Even if I tell you what’s funny, you don’t find it funny”

“Tch Whatever”

While having a tea, Alice decided to watched the anime. Tada laughed again and gazed at Alice and said,

“Why are you watching?”

“Is it forbidden for me to watch?” Alice’s right brow raised. Then, Tada started to focused on the anime again.

Alice kept watching the anime and 10 minutes later,

“HAHAHAHAHA!” an unpredicted laugh came from the girl’s mouth and made Tada shocked. Alice laughed so hard and small tears came out in her eyes. She noticed Tada was staring at her, she quickly covered her mouth by her left hand and her tea made a little spill.

“Pfft” Tada laughed at her with a little blush on his cheeks. Thinking of how cute Alice’s laughing face was. She then slightly smiled and laughed with Tada simultaneously.

TIMESKIP

On the other side, Cheshire came out of the book and saw the two laughing together. Seeing Alice was now sitting  on the floor with Tada and they were so close. He got a little jealous and forming a neutral smile on his face. The cat instantly jumped between the two and put his two arms over their shoulder.

“It is so unusual to see Alice-chan laughing” He uttered and pouted

“Is that so? Hmm… It is” Alice covered her face in embarrassment of what she did a while ago. Cheshire laughed at her patted her head.

“But it’s totally fine. I love seeing you happy” Alice slightly smiled at him then, Cheshire squeezed her puffy cheeks.

“Shtofh ish Csheshre (Stop it Cheshire)” The cat laughed at her and released his hand on her face.

“You’re so cute. That’s why I like you”

A sudden confession came from Cheshire’s lips. Tada widened his eyes and looked at the two and supported Cheshire that looked so proud of what he said. Finally, he had a courage to confess. Alice was shocked and started to chuckle. She patted his head and said,

“Thank you for the complement”

“Haha. Let’s just watch…anime” He weakly laugh but he was dying inside.

Tada looked away, trying not to laugh at the situation. I guess Cheshire’s love confession didn’t go through her. The cat got disappointed for Alice being dense.
