The Mysterious Senior | Minsung |

The Beginning

"I'm so sorry, Dad," the blue-haired boy softly spoke as he slowly reached out his hand and wiped off the tears streaming down his face with the back of his hand.

Han Jisung stared down at his late dad's gravestone, his lips puckering up to speak, but his throat was too parched, and his heart was too heavy with remorse to say anything else than "sorry".

"I-I... If only I had known this earlier...none of it would've happened, " the blue-haired boy spoke up again as if trying to justify himself to his father, but deep down he knew it was of no use.

Justifying like a coward wasn't gonna bring his dad back up from the dead.

Suddenly, a sound of a ringing phone echoed in his ears, and he slowly reached his hand down in his pocket to pick it up. His mom's contact flashed over his smartphone and he quickly fixed his demeanor and wiped his tears off as he swiped the screen to accept his mom's call and placed the phone above his ears.

"My baby, are you at the new college yet?" he heard his mom's sweet voice chime from the other side.

"Y-Yeah Mom! I'm about to reach there! Shall I call you back after I'm done with the first class?" the blue-haired boy raised his voice a few octaves higher to appear merry.

"Oh, okay! Call me back when you're free! I love you, my son," his mom responded to his words.

"Love you too, Mom," Jisung chimed back as he hung up the call.

"I'll see you later, Dad," Jisung picked up his backpack and began trudging away from his dad and the graveyard, checking his watch only to find out he was late on the first day of his college.

"Gosh! I'm doomed!" he exclaimed as he called over a taxi from the side of the road and stepped in.

...----------------...

I can't go in! I don't wanna get scolded in the first class! Oh god!

Jisung was panicking from the inside as he stood outside the door of the lecture hall, pondering over whether he should go in or skip this class.

He could hear the professor's voice faintly behind the door and could sense the silence in the lecture hall most probably filled with students who were disciplined and were paying attention to him.

The blue-haired boy checked his watch again and saw that he was late by half an hour...and as he decided to turn around and leave the class, his eyes instantly met with a senior.

The said senior that he locked his eyes with was a bit taller than him, had black hair and his black doe eyes were nothing less than intimidating. The senior looked like a cat on top of that, and cats were literally known as the most mysterious and mischievous creatures on the planet Earth.

"You're new, aren't ya?" the senior boy clicked his tongue with his lips turned up in a little smirk as he laid his eyes on the scared newbie.

"Umm...I-I..."

"Looks like you're quite late to your first class...on the first day! As a good senior, I should help you out, don't you think?" the senior spoke up as his lips turned in a grimace and his eyes hinted nothing but craziness and mischief.

Before the blue-haired boy knew it, the senior pushed the door open and pushed him into the class as he fell to the floor, becoming the center of attention on his first day.

Embarrassment

"Ouch!" Han exclaimed in pain as he landed on his hips on the cold hard floor, earning a few gasps from everyone present in the lecture hall.

No way...he just didn't...

"Who are you?! And why are you disturbing my class?!" a stern tone of voice yelled behind Jisung's back, sending chills down his spine.

He slowly got up as his eyes searched around the door but the mischievous senior was nowhere to be seen. It was as if he disappeared into thin air and left him alone to deal with the mess.

"I- umm... I'm sorry sir! I'm a new student on this campus and I lost my way trying to find this class. I'll make sure this inconvenience will never happen again!" Jisung began bowing endlessly to the professor while speaking out his apologetic words.

The professor let out a sigh.

"It's your first day and you've already started to cause so much disarray. I'll let you off this time. But the next time you pull a prank like this, I'll have you suspended. Got it?" the professor relaxed a little and let him off.

"Yes sir!" Jisung bowed to the professor for one last time before inhaling a deep breath and making his way to the other students in the classroom.

The students either gave him a weird look or laughed at him as he looked for a seat. Some just didn't care and paid attention to the professor who had started to teach again.

That senior...I'll need to do something about him...

Jisung clenched his hands into fists and slightly rolled his eyes as he continued to look for a vacant seat, ignoring the weird looks he received for the incident that happened merely two seconds ago.

"Hey!" Jisung heard a whisper yell call out for him out of nowhere.

He looked around as his eyes skimmed for the source of the voice that called out for him and eventually settled his eyes on a blond-haired boy sitting at the back of the class. The boy waved at Jisung and motioned for him to sit in the vacant seat beside him.

Jisung exhaled for a bit as his shoulders relaxed as he made his way toward the blonde-haired boy.

"Hi! My name's Felix!" the blonde-haired boy cheerfully spoke up and flashed Jisung a smile.

"My name is Han jisung," the blue-haired boy responded, subconsciously having his lips turned up in a smile as he admired the blond-haired boy.

"It was quite embarrassing...what just happened now," Jisung covered his face with his hand as he recalled the events that occurred a few moments earlier.

"Don't worry about it. We all know it was Lee Minho," Felix retorted as if he was done with the guy he was talking about.

"Lee Minho?"

"Yeah. The black-haired guy kinda looks like a misbehaving cat. He loves teasing juniors and newbies... though he was nice to me when I first came here," Felix elaborated.

"Did you see him push me? How do you know it was him?" Jisung's eyes shined with curiosity as he raised a question.

"Nope. We didn't see him, but we know. We just know because he has done this a lot already. Even the teachers know but they couldn't care any less."

"Then why did I get yelled at for something I didn't even do?!" Jisung raised his voice a little in frustration as his ears started turning red from sheer embarrassment again.

"I guess it's because the teachers like teasing newbies too. That professor just tries to act intimidating to juniors. He's the coolest professor on the campus. Guess what? I even heard he's friends with Lee Minho. I don't know if it's true though. "

Jisung let out a slight nod as he absorbed all the new information.

Lee Minho...what an annoying name for an annoying senior.

Gay relationship?

The class had seemed to end quite early, but in reality, Jisung just couldn't keep track of time as his mind had been clouded with the thoughts of the troublesome senior and he was discerned to find the senior after class.

As the blue-haired boy was lost in his thoughts, he suddenly felt someone shake his shoulder, yanking him out of his daydream. It was none other than his new friend, Felix.

"What class are you taking next? I got psychology," Felix spoke, his lips turned up in a smile as if he was nothing but a ball of positive energy which was very bright.

"...I have psychology too..." Jisung responded nonchalantly.

"Then what are you waiting for? This class has ended already. We need to hurry up to the next class!" Felix packed up his notes and immediately stood up, making Jisung stand up and follow him around like a lost puppy.

Then it suddenly struck his mind.

"Wait! I need to go see that senior first! I need to talk to him and need to know why he did that to me! I may be new here but I'm neither stupid nor scared of him in any way," Jisung spoke with a stern tone of voice.

"You're new here...you won't be able to find him. He's quite a secretive guy so no one can keep track of him on where he goes. But I'll let you know that lunchtime is when he's the easiest to find," Felix responded, making Jisung exhale a sigh in defeat and follow him.

As they both stepped out of the classroom, Felix proposed showing Jisung around the campus because they still had some time left before the next class began.

But as Jisung was striding beside Felix, getting to know more about the new place, he felt someone pull at his backpack, tugging him backward.

"Ouch! Who is it?! You-" Jisung turned around and was about to give an earful of scolding to whoever did that, but it was the deviant senior.

Jisung stood still in his place, glaring at the mischievous senior who had a playful grin playing on his lips.

"I just realized that I didn't get to ask your name before I... helped you find your classroom..." Minho spoke sarcastically and ran his fingers through his black hair.

"Minho Hyung... we're getting late for the next cla-" Before Felix could finish, Minho cut him off mid-sentence.

"Oh! Your next class is canceled, actually. The teacher is on leave," Minho responded with a straight face.

"But I saw him on the campus this morning-" Felix again couldn't complete his sentence.

"But now he went back. There's no psychology class today. Also, Felix, you should probably go look for your boyfriend. He's been feeling quite desperate for you today," Minho spoke as Felix's ears turned crimson red from embarrassment.

"B-Boyfriend? Felix has a boyfriend?" Jisung turned back in astonishment to face Felix who looked away with a crimson hue painting his face red.

"Why? You don't like gay relationships or what? Are you, perhaps... into girls?" Minho moved his face towards Jisung and looked him straight in the eye.

Jisung was screaming on the inside. Minho's face was just a mere inches away from Jisung's face. Minho's hot breath fanned Jisung's face making his face turn reddish in the hue of a tomato.

Gay relationships? Jisung had no opinions on that because he always thought that love existed only between a man and a woman.

Jisung had always been advised to work hard and look for a perfect woman to spend the rest of his life with... but no one knew that he had never felt an attraction toward women. But Jisung never considered the likelihood that he could be gay.

"Answer me, little one. What happened?" Minho started to provoke Jisung who started to move his head away from him.

"Umm... I-I have no idea wh-what you're talking about..." Jisung mumbled slowly and looked away from Minho.

"So you're saying you don't know what a gay relationship is... That means I was right. You're indeed a v*rg*n, " Minho remarked, as a smirk crept up on his lips.

"Wh-What?! How dare you make such assumptions about me?!" Jisung fired back at him again.

"It is true though... But if you insist, I can help you out in finding a girl... I'm a good matchmaker, you know," Minho spoke, his voice sounding low and raspy, making Jisung swallow down his words in nervousness.

"But I-I don't like..." Jisung wanted to enunciate out loud that he didn't like girls but he halted mid-sentence as he saw Minho's face light up from contentment.

"You don't like girls? Fine, either way. If you insist, I can help you find out what it feels like to be in a gay relationship..." Minho spoke with a low tone of voice again, taking hold of Jisung's tiny waist and pulling him closer.
