Explosions....war.... bloodshed... orange sparks and fire.... pungent smell of blood....crimson....scarlet.....all red painted my world....skies, seas and land....

Destruction loomed at every corner....

People losing loved ones....

Children losing parents....

the End has come....

Or so we thought....

**AMIDST BATTLE**

*Faded voice*

David!... David!!.... David!!!

*Wakes up*

"David, are you alright?" Jasmine, a beautiful young female knight asked.

"Yeah,....I think so....my head just hurts a little." David, a young finely shaped knight answered.

"Well, since you're awake, I think it's time to end this war." Brad, a sturdy muscular knight wielding an axe interrupted, half smiling.

David stood...various waves of fluctuations could be seen all over his body. The fluctuations got brighter and brighter...it was so bright that it looked like the sun was upon the Earth.

Finally, an image of a white phoenix was formed.

"Well, that's more like it." Brad said through a smile.

The phoenix awakens.

*Screeeech*

Jade! Jade!!

A thin knight wearing a black armour rushed into a room panting.

"Where is Jade?" asked Quinstra.

"I'm here" answered another knight clad in black armour, wielding a berserker sword twice his height.

Beside him, is a beautiful, voluptuous lady in a black battle gown.

"Jade, David has changed into his ultimate spirit form" Quinstra said hopelessly, "our hope is lost." he added with a sigh.

"Or is it?" Jade asked with chuckle

"Let me ask you a question, between a      phoenix and a dragon which is more powerful?"..."Ohh, you don't need to answer that." Jade cut in before Quinstra could answer

"We are about to find out." he added.

"Well David, since you've decided to take this to the next level...then let's finish this quickly." Jade said with a sinister grin.

"Vera, you're in charge while am gone." Jade added, with a serious look.

"Yes sir." the lady in the battle gown answered.

Immediately, a sharp dark glint appeared in his eyes.

Dark fluctuations oozed out of his body.

The camp plunged into darkness as a man turned into a great black dragon.

The battlefield became divided....

Light versus Darkness......

Phoenix against Dragon.....

"Brad, are you sure we are going to win?" James a frail looking knight with a pike asked with a worried look.

Simultaneously, the others also casted worried looks at Brad.

Brad looked at James with a serious gaze and said "victory or  defeat, this battle is worth fighting for."

"With David gone, I'm in charge and I have faith that victory belongs to us." Brad added.

"Heavy cavaliers to the front, archers provide support, knights.... you're with me." Brad dished out his last orders.

"Long live the throne and with help of the gods we'll survive." With that the latter lifted up his great axe and into battle.

Alongside him was Jasmine with her twin swords, James with pike and shield and Mike with a battle maze.

"Lady Vera, the Pryterrians have charged into battle. What are your orders your grace?" a knight named Kiva with the regular sword and shield asked.

"My orders....kill them all" Vera snarled.

"Brad!! On your left." Jasmine shouted amidst battle while impaling a knight in the chest.

"Thanks." Brad said as swung his great axe beheading a knight.

"Moreover, where is James?" He added.

"Stop worrying about James, remember he's an awakened." Jasmine said while vanished using vampire speed.

"Damn hybrid." Brad cursed silently.

"Looks like I'm alone.."

Strange fluctuations seeped out of his body unto his axe as he slashed at five knights.

Noooo!!!!....

"What happened?" Vera asked with a shocked expression.

"Looks like all Pryterrian elites have spirit beasts." Kiva answered expressionlessly.

"Looks like Jade might have problem." He added.

*Screeeech!!*

ARDVOCK KINGDOM

"Sir, the Pryterrians are currently battling Hirvadinites, what are your orders Sir." The personally guard of Ardvock King, asked.

"Reinforce the Hirvadinites and exterminate the Pryterrians.." King Adork answered with a dark expression.

"Ready my horse, we'll leave at dawn." He added.

"Yes Sir."

A knight arrived at the Hirvadinites camp.

"Lady Vera, our reinforcements has arrived."

"Good....time for the battle to change tides." She said with a smile.

"Lady Vera, I'm so pleased to meet you on this special occasion." Adork said.

"Yes,..and I am grateful for sending your soldiers to help us."

"Well, you're welcome.."

"Enough talk.... soldiers engage." Adork ordered.

"Brad, Ardvock is reinforcing Hirvardin. What are we going to do?" Jasmine screamed amidst battle.

"It's within my expectation...." Brad replied while choking a knight with the power of the sea serpent twist.

"Everyone withdraw"

"Mike do the choke wind now..." Brad shouted.

*Twirl...Swish....Howl....Swish*

A powerful twirling wind that cuts air supply from all living things swept across the battlefield.

*Screams*

*Shrieks*

AAAhhh!!!

"Vera, looks like we have to join the battle." Quinstra said.

"They've got a damned mystic master." He added.

"You're right, since our reinforcement is here...it's better we join the battle now."

......

"Your majesty, they've got a mystic master."

"We're losing soldiers."

"Press on, we can't afford to lose." King Adork replied.

"Yes Sir."

"What are your orders Commander." King Adork asked.

"I think it's time we unleash our full strength Sir.. Dragging this battle won't be beneficial for us." Commander Esak answered.

"Are you saying you want me to enter battle?" The King asked.

"If that will provide us victory, then I think that will be a wise decision Sir."

"Really..." The King said with a cold sneer.

"And if I am to enter battle, who should I take out?"

"Your majesty, it's best we take out the  cultivator.... Griffin Bradson.

The King clenched is fist, fire engulfed him till he changed into the Royal Flaming Tiger.

A tiger with a very large height as tall as a mountain, the upper and lower canines extending for the mouth, the manes covered with fire and claws sharp enough to divide a mountain in half, out of it's nostrils puff out steam and edge of it's tail is ignited with a strong orange flame.

The Royal Flaming Tiger charge through the Pryterrian offense.

"Commander Bradson, there's a spirit beast breaking our offense Sir." A Pryterrian knight reported.

"Leave it to me." Brad answered.

"All troops follow the orders of lady Jasmine..." He ordered, "I got unfinished business." He added silently.

Icy blue energy seeped from him as his body distorted and transformed into his ultimate spirit form.....The Angelic Iced Lion, adding a cold chill to the battlefield.

His spirit beast is of a ghost white colour and of the same height with the Royal Flaming Tiger, the edge of it manes are transformed into sharp icicles, it's has the sharpest claws of all spirit beasts and it's claws are also glassy and transparent, cold chill seeps out of it's nostrils, the canines extends out of it's mouth just like the Royal Flaming Tiger and the edge is shaped into an ice cone.

"Quinstra take out James, Kiva yours is Mike and I'll take care of Jasmine." Vera supplicated.

"On it." Quinstra replied.

"Aye, my Lady." Shouted Kiva.

"Jasmine I thought Deko should have arrive." Mike asked worriedly.

"Yeah.., he should have come...hehehe,  I don't think his father would love to hear... *Boom* *Screech*...

"David just got hit by Jade." Jasmine asked with a worried expression.

"Don't worry he will be alright..now that I'm here."

"....Deko!!!!!!"

"Lady Jasmine, I need you to heal my father.... I've got a plan we can use to defeat the Hirvadinites...but I need you to heal my father." Deko said

"It's to dangerous...I can't get close.." She replied.

"Don't worry, I'll cause a distraction." Deko replied.

"No it's too dangerous I can't......."

"Just heal my father.... we don't have much time for deliberation, neither do we have much options....ok?!?"

"Fine....but be careful."

*Screeeech*

David falls from the sky in his ultimate spirit form.

Jade lands beside him in his dragon form.

"Did you actually think your puny bird form can defeat me." Jade said while grinning.

David answered with a groan.

"A chicken trying to fight a dragon..what happens...you get fried." Jade chuckled.

"But I must say indeed you are very bold..." Jade added sinisterly.

"Well, time to end this." Jade added as he formed a dark vortex ball in his mouth.

"You're right it's actually time to end this." Someone interrupted him.

".......Ohhh!!! Hehehe, came to watch your father die Deko?!"

"Or you came to participate in his death." Jade grinned

"No.....I came to end you." He said while raising a sword.

" Hahahahahah....... hahahahahah.....hahaha...haha..." Jade laughed boisterously.

"Forgive me for laughing at such crucial moment...but what father would teach a son to joke at the brink of death." He added

With Jade distracted by Deko, Jasmine managed to sneak to the side of David.

"David, are you alright?" Jasmine asked

""Groan""

"Hold on, I'll heal you in a bit" she said while casting a healing spell know to supernaturals.

After about a minute, David mustered strength to speak up.

"... What's..Deko.. doing..here...." He asked while gritting his teeth in pain.

"It's..too..dangerous..here...." He added while he trying his best to suppress the pain.

"He said he got a plan.... moreover..he's not kid and would not act unreasonably" She said as she finished healing him.

"Ok..I'm done.." She added.

......

"Did you actually think that sword could cause a scratch on me?" He asked while looking murderously at Deko.

A minute of silence passed, Deko just wanted to make sure Jasmine has left his father's side.

Then he spoke while grinning

"......Ever heard of Blade of Revival Wind." Deko asked.

"..Ohh, and Jasmine should be done healing my father." He added with a knowing smile.

"What!!!?" Jade exclaimed.

Then he snorted coldly and spoke, "what difference would it make..ohh I know, how about I use you as the appetizer and your father as the main course...any last words Deko Phintrix.." while looking at Deko with a killing intent.

"... You're mistaking something Jade.. underestimating the power of Blade of Revival Wind is not very wise... remember confidence is a fool's substitute for knowledge.." He replied chuckling.

Then he added, "and for my last words....go to hell Jade Reintin.."

"Grrrr.." Jade growled angrily.

*Rooaaar*

"Shut your mouth..dog.." David said with great indignation.

Immediately white flames asphyxiated Jade

The white flames are known as purity flames and are only accessible by the white Phoenix.

"Dad, let's do this together.." Deko said smiling.

With that he hopped on the back of the white Phoenix with the Blade of Revival Wind.

"Lady Jasmine Thelder, we meet again." Vera said while drawing her sword.

"Vera Wrikson, or should I say Ivy, still sad about how I kicked your *** the last time?.." Jasmine replied while drawing her twin swords.

"Enough talk...let's end this quickly Jasmine." Vera interrupted angrily as she changed to her spirit form the Horned Blue Ivy Adder.

The Horned Blue Ivy Adder is azure blue in colour at the upper part of the body and silver in colour at the underside. It looks like a rattle snake, the fangs are laced with poison, the body is coated with a slippery poisonous slime for easy movement, it has a single horn, golden yellow in colour, it's eyes are lime green in colour. Which starts from the edge of it's upper lip and extends from the back of the head. The horn is used for both offense and defense, it's used as receptor to sense changes in it's environment. The rattle at tail of the Adder is made up of the strongest steel and is decorated with spikes, it can smash anything and it's used as a mace in battle.

*Hissss*

"Tsk tsk tsk, so scared that you changed into your ultimate spirit form." Jasmine said while chuckling.

"Hmmph." Vera snorted coldly.

"Won't you change to your ultimate spirit form, I want a fair fight."

"Fine, since you said so don't cry if I break your bones; because, I won't be nice."

Jasmine transformed into her ultimate spirit form the Vampiric Wolf.

The Vampiric Wolf is a combination of a wolf and a bat whose eyes are scarlet in colour. The wolf is tawny brown in colour and has ears of a bat and pick up sound millions of miles from. It can also sense supersonic waves which can be used navigate even with the eyes closed, which gives it the apex position in nocturnal predatory. The snout has an akin sense of smell and perceive the faintest drop of blood from millions of miles away from it. It's also a good tracker, known to have lock-on ability making it impossible for prey to escape. The claws are adapted for gripping and cutting, and always kept sharp. It's also shed it's claws for new ones. It has a pair of black bat wings for flying. The hair on the tails are modified into sharp bristles to be used as a whip. The perks of the Vampiric Wolf is it's sense of direction and good sense of awareness and reflexes. As it can never get lost neither can it be caught unaware and finally it's immune to poisoning.

*Howl*

"Let's finish this." Jasmine said as she lunged at Vera.

......

"Adork you can't win, give up." Brad said trotting towards Adork.

"Let's see who's the loser." Adork replied as he rushed at Brad with full speed.

......

Brad sidesteps his attack and uses his right claw to slash at his face. Adork loses his balance but stop himself from falling.

"Nice move Brad...but not enough to stop me." He growled as he shoots a fire ball from his mouth at Brad.

Brad ducked to dodge but Adork followed up with a bite to the neck.

Brad was helpless as his neck was locked between Adork's teeth.

Brad emitted bifrost (freeze the body in attempt to freeze the enemy.) in attempt to freeze Adork through his opened mouth. Seeing the impending danger Adork released his neck and stepped back to save himself. Brad shook his head to distract himself for excruciating pain at his neck.

"Had a taste of pain..Brad?" Adork said while baring his canines.

"You don't know pain, I'll show you pain." Brad roared.

Immediately a powerful blizzard brewed across the battlefield.

Brad then used bale frost (a powerful ice ball that locks on target and freezes anything it touches.)

This forced Adork to use bale fire (opposite of bale frost) as only that counteract bale frost.

*Bang*

The two magic balls exploded at contact with each other.
