Lucian is part of the Gaia tribe, he is orphaned after the sudden disappearance of his parents. The tribe shows contempt on him for having the blood of an outsider,

But none can deny his natural talent in alchemy that even the Patriarch praises.

His exquisite features show his Elegance despite his simplicity... His ruby eyes that are as beautiful as precious stone and His silver hair that impresses the light of the night sky, skin is as fair as that of a girl... Truly a work of art.

While cleaning the room of his parents, he happens to discover a hidden compartment under the bed... Inside, he found a diary.

Lucian is curious about the diary, at same time expectations of what he can find inside is shown as he muttered "maybe this shall lead me to where they are..."

He opens the diary,

to his shock of what he sees, he stare blankly in the air as tears begins to flow down his face as if crystal his tears began to form.

He recover his tears... "The Patriarch will scold me if he sees this, I shall leave before the dawn to avoid the other tribesmen..."

It's almost dawn and Lucian has began to move...

He was about to step out of the gate just when a deep, well-toned voice spoke. " where are you heading with that large baggage of yours?"

Lucian replied with alerted and in an outspoken manners he ask " Why do you care? aren't you supposed to be finishing your work patriarch?"

Patriarch: Stop it with that work talk, I'm also tired so I come to take a walk.

Lucian: take a walk here near the border?

Patriarch: shouldn't I be the one asking you why are you here?

Lucian: I'll be leaving.

Patriarch: in that thin clothes? Are you planning to die? Without a map you won't even be able to leave you know.

Lucian is taken aback by what the Patriarch said, he muttered "what's wrong with traveling aimlessly anyway..."

The Patriarch burst out laughing and spoke to him teasingly "Is this your way of committing suicide? Rea won't be pleased about this."

Pissed to the Patriarch mentioning his mother's name, Lucian replied yelling "why do you care anyway? If you're just here to stop me, I'll be more than willing to cut you."

Patriarch: I don't have any plan to stop you, this little brat seriously do you really think I will lose to you?

Lucian: Then what do you want?

looking somewhere in thoughts, the Patriarch reminisces about the past... Then muttered "I've already expect that you'll be leaving sooner or later... After all you're still that man's child."

The Patriarch hands over a set of clothes and equipment, just by looking to it's design and quality you can say that it is made by a great artisan. He also handed a black sword, The sword was inscribed with runes and made with a material even Lucian don't know, which triggers his curiosity.

Patriarch: don't you dare dissect it you brat!

Lucian: I don't have any plan to do so, ok ;;

Patriarch: Keep going towards the South and you'll reach Astraia Mountain.

Lucian is still surprised by the kindness that was given to him by the Patriarch. Even as a child of an outsider the Patriarch is willing to consider him as part of the tribe and even support his talent, Lucian is very grateful to the acceptance and kindness of the Patriarch.

"Thanks..." he says under his breath.

Patriarch: you should leave now or the other tribesmen catch up to you.

Lucian: I know, I'm planning to leave anyway.

Lucian ran as he leaves without looking back, leaving every footsteps as he go and let go of his past... He shows his determination to see what awaits him in his future and he began to face his present.

The Patriarch watches as Lucian leaves without looking back, his golden eyes glimmer in expectation that Lucian will be able to follow his parents footsteps...

"I take it back Rea... That child takes after you more than his father, especially that determination in his eyes and how he leaves without looking back... It's just like you.

Lucian has successfully leave the, forest of loss where the tribe is located... "this should be far enough, I should camp here for now... It will be dangerous tonight."

Lucian camps inside a cave where he continues to decipher the diary left by his parents... That's when he hears a loud footsteps moving towards him.

"Shit... Just my luck."

"I need to find a place to hide..." Lucian muttered as he looks around and then found a gap near a huge monolith just after the loud footsteps was getting closer... "that will do for now."

He quickly hides in-between the gap... But suddenly the golem found him and quickly approaches him... But the ground starts shaking and the monolith near the gap starts glowing and rune letters start appearing,

The gap near the monolith cracks up causing for Lucian to fall.

Lucian feels like dying... Darkness is all that he see but he continues moving forward that's when he found light and then he woke up.

He familiarized himself with his surroundings as soon as he woke up and he found himself inside a place that looks similar to a temple, he looks around for the exit and that's when he found a Large and grand door at the end of the corridor.

The Large door has a familiar symbol,

A symbol of a golden tree extending it's root to the sun... It is the symbol of the goddess they follow "Gaia"...

The Large door slowly opens, emitting a blinding lights, Lucian closes his eyes to protect it from the extreme brightness...

He hears a voice telling him to come.

Lucian ask the voice "who are you?"

The voice didn't respond and continue on telling him to come, over and over... Then... "Child of the saint that serves the Goddess of life Gaia... I request for you to come closer."

The blinding lights emitted by an unknown source behind the door starts dying down as Lucian starts moving forward and follows the mysterious voice... As soon as he steps inside, the lights disappear leaving only the golden fire lited near the statue of gaia.

The unknown voice whispers to him... "come closer my child..."

Lucian follows the voice and walks toward the golden fire, just as when he was about to get close to the fire... The blinding lights were once again emitted and as soon as Lucian opened his eyes this time he found himself in a big library and with the same statue of gaia in front of him.

He spent countless hours perusing through the library... Lucian hears the voice once again and it leads him into a room where he finds a beautiful lady sitting as if it is waiting for someone...

Time passes without us exchanging words and that's when the lady spoke.

"You have grown up well, your clothes suits you well now."

The familiar voice touches Lucian's heart as if digging through his deepest memory... "mommy..." he mutters

The lady stands up and goes towards him... "Lucian... You're grown up now, that's good" a faint smile is shown as she looks straight to Lucian whose expression can't be tell.

"I won't expect you to forgive this mother of yours for leaving without a word but... Lucian mommy love you." The lady embraces Lucian with tears down to her cheeks.

"mom, you're warm..." Lucian felt the warmth and comfort in his mother's arm but there's still a part of that young boy that can't help but question the reason why his mom has to leave.

That part of him can't help but ask "Why did you and dad leave?" Lucian tries to hold back his tears as he knows that what he want is not the reason but instead an excuse for him to understand them and accept them once again.

Lucian is scared that the answer might not be what he wants to hear but he knows that he's ready to face anything just for everything to be clear.

"Lucian, my dear son... I'm sorry but I can't tell you yet but one day you'll know it yourself, until then strengthen yourself enough to face any battles you need to walk through."

"If you're here then that must mean you have already found it... I leave that message for you to realize your dreams and also to inform you about the world outside."

"some day you'll encounter some of them, they're called players unlike the humans of the empire their different but that doesn't mean you should trust them deeply,

The only one you can trust and rely on truly is you and yourself only."

The lady starts to fade, as if light is absorbing her. Lucian didn't let go of her mother until it disappears completely leaving only a message

Once again Lucian is left alone,

the curiosity about his parents true Identity gives him another reason to continue his journey.

After leaving the library he finds himself back into the cave and once again he hears the large golem approaching him...

As soon as returns to the cave, he finds himself running already getting chased by the iron golem, using the knowledge he found in the library he finds out the weakness of the golem.

He lures the iron golem in the most narrow area in the cave to restrict its movement and focus on attacking its leg,

Knowing that the area is too narrow, Lucian decided to use magic called electric shock to weaken the golem then finish it by taking away the golem's core.

Lucian whispers under his breath " It'll be a shame to damage such great materials, as an alchemist it will be a disgrace to let this thing go isn't it?"

(I should send a message to the Patriarch about this, seeing an iron golem is pretty rare as it only appears in a place rich in minerals.

If my guess is right I should inform the Patriarch about this.)

Lucian packed up his thing and got ready to leave, He sent a message to the Patriarch using the communication scroll to avoid being traced by the tribe.

Lucian continues heading towards the South,

Along the way it is inevitable to fight several monsters but as he goes further and further he begins to meet stronger monsters and the appearance of Mare toad has become more frequent and that's also why Lucian finds it hard to even rest...

Weeks pass and as Lucian goes further the air becomes more denser and the pungent smell gets stronger.

Lucian found it hard to even breath and move now after reaching The dark swamp.

At first, Lucian plans to use flight magic but after encountering a dark gator, he obtained a lot of material for his experiment which tempted him to further explore the swamp without any thoughts while smiling and humming.

Far from what he expected, Lucian can just mutter about his regrets over and over...

"I should've just used flight magic... But there's no doubt I obtained a lot of material here... But it's still really too much for me to handle..."

Lucian uses spells to purify the air he breathes and that way he manages to move forward...

While exploring, the gators he encounters increased.

He continues forward till he meets a herd of gators, Lucian is confused as to why those gators that used to move alone gather in herds and as he looks around in wonder he hears a voice counting "1... 2.... 3..."

he thought about it and remembers that one creature mentioned in the library, A creature that can only be found in the deepest part of the tower and it is a creature that is rare to see and because of that the creature is not well known and wasn't named, the features of a monkey that has a red fur as if wearing a hood, It has the ability to control and contaminate the mind of his prey, mostly dark gators...

Lucian only thought at this moment about how he can kill that monkey.

(that monkey surely is a huge problem I need to get rid of it before it sees me.)

An Ominous feeling went down his spine as the monster stared at him,

Lucian thought at that moment If he'll be lucky enough to survive that huge creepy monkey, he thinks and thinks until he reaches the conclusion "I need to take that thing there".

Lucian plans to use the terrain's structure to his advantage,

Back in his tribe, Lucian is one of the hunters Despite his fragile looking body he has a monstrous strength enough to carry a huge boulder.

Using his strength and the terrain's structure, he made traps as he lure the monster to that place.

Using the traps as a distraction, he managed to lure the monster to that place... "The Lizard's den".

The monster is already playing on Lucian's palm the moment it starts chasing him.

The den of the Lizards den is the habitat of the flowers "Dianthy" a hypnotic flower and because of that the lizards are immune to many mind spells making it the natural enemy of the red monkey.

Using that as an advantage Lucian lures the red monkey in the den triggering a territorial conflict between the red monkey and the lizards, Although the red monkey is several times stronger than the lizards it is put in a disadvantage in a war of numbers, those red monkey are uncommon and often move alone they uses their trait to manipulate to protect themselves but right now the red monkey

Can't do that in the territory of the lizards as they are already immune to it.

That causes the red monkey to lose and was heavily injured when it finally escape the den.

Lucian just cautiously waits for the red monkey to come out of the den.

As soon as the red monkey comes out heavily injured he immediately jumps onto the red monkey to kill it Although heavily injured the red monkey still manages to defend himself and retaliate but Lucian manages to quickly react and manages to kill the monkey.

Lucian sigh with relief as he sees the red monkey on the ground.

He immediately continues his journey, as he venture the swamp Lucian discovers marked paths and that soon leads him into the end of the swamp.

Lucian: What with those marks, is that supposed to mean something?

Lucian pondered as he walked, he's mind was confused and without knowing he found himself in a lake.

He immediately checks if it's safe and soon soaks himself in for a few hours.

He still is confused about those marks and was mindlessly walking and soon *Thump!* he falls on something...
