...I am currently talking with my boyfriend Mark on my laptop placed on my lap.....

Lexi- *laughs loud* haha! I told you to stop!

Mark- Fine I will stop! *chuckles*

Lexi- By the way how is your trip in Hawaii going? Is it fun there?

Mark- *fake smiles* Yeah! absolutely! I am having so much fun here..

Lexi- That's great.. I wish I was also there with you but you know my mom is sick so i can't leave her alone.. *sad smile*

Mark- *in mind- glad you didn't come* Yeah..

Lexi- Can i ask you something?

Mark- *nods* yea go on..

Lexi- Who was the girl I heard the voice of when we were in a call yesterday? *frowns*

Mark-*nervous* Uhm- ohhh You mean my sister? I told you I came here with my family..

Lexi- Mark.. we have been dating for 7 months now and you never told me you had a sister..

Mark- Because you never wanted to know!

Lexi- What do you mean by that!? I thought true lovers always share everything with each other!!!

Mark- Shut up! *raises voice*

Lexi- *tears forms in eyes* W-what is wrong with you? you are not the mark I knew 2 months back.. You are acting weird recently.. Be honest.. Are you cheating on me? *a single tear drops from the eye*

There was complete silence for the whole 2 minutes.. No one talked..

...*Mark's POV*...

I heard the bathroom door open..

Mark- It's not the time to talk rubbish with you.. Bye.. *ends the video call*

??? - Who were you talking to babe? *talks while drying her hair*

Mark- It was my Lexi.. The girl I told you about..

Mark's girlfriend- Why are you not breaking up with her? Leave that stupid girl.. You got me *winks*

Mark- *chuckles* Yeah I know.. You know I am just using her for my needs.. Because I don't want to hurt you and I know you are afraid of doing that.. that is why I am still not breaking up with her..

Mark's girlfriend- Aww you are so sweet! *kisses Mark's cheeks* I love you babe!

Mark- *hugs her* I love you too..

I didn't even get the time to say bye to him.. What is going on? I wipe my tears and close the laptop..

??? - *coughs* Whom were you talking to, dear?

Lexi- Mom! I told you to not walk! You will fall anytime! Your legs are still numb! *takes her mom and puts her to bed*

Lexi's mom- Dear it's time for me to go.. we can't afford the bills of the hospital for me to admit.. I don't think I am going to survive anymo- *coughs*

Lexi- Mom! Don't say that! I will get a job and get a salary and I will admit you to a hospital.. I promise.. *tears come out of my eyes and I kissed my mom's forehead*

^^^At that moment I heard the door bell.. I opened the door quickly and found out that nobody was there.. Just a letter was lying on the ground.. I took the letter and it was written:--^^^

"Who wants to participate in the game called Among us? The rules will be given to you after you enroll your name to the given phone number- ***** **321-"

I was about to throw the letter until my eyes caught something in the letter..

"The winner of this game will be rewarded with 100 million cash.. So what are you waiting for? Grab the offer quickly! "

I looked at the letter and then back at my mom with a blank expression..

Lexi-*in mind- I think... I should participate.. *

Lexi's mom- Who came dear? *coughs*

Lexi- No one mom.. *goes to her mom and sits beside her* Actually.. I just got a letter from someone I don't know and it is a letter for a job application! And of course I am going to grab this opportunity! *smiles*

Lexi's mom- Omg! really? I am so happy for you! *smiles*

Lexi- Don't worry.. You will be healed soon..

I went to another room and dialed the number and got myself enrolled in the game.

...The next day...

I heard the door bell ring. I opened the door hurriedly and saw that a red costume was lying in the ground.

Lexi- Mom i am going for the job! Our neighbour will take care of you till I am away! Bye love you!

I can't tell mom it's a game because she will be worried sick.

I reached the destination to which the person on the phone told me about.

I saw that it was a huge empty ground.

Lexi-Y-yes sir..

I followed him. He pressed a button which was on a huge wall and a massive door opened. While the person and I were walking through the corridors he told me the rules.

??? - The rules are simple. If you are a crewmate, you need to complete tasks and survive from the imposter. And the imposter will do fake tasks and will try to.. Kill the crewmates to win the game..

Lexi-*stopped walking* What do you mean kill the crewmates! YOU MEAN PEOPLE WILL DIE?! ARE YOU CRAZY?!!

The person presses the button and the room is filled up with fog which makes me unconscious and I fall on the ground.

I woke up and found myself lying in a huge room and some other people were also lying in wearing the same suit but different colors and i was also wearing my red suit.

Everyone woke up and were talking about how they got here.

Lexi- That person tricked us into playing this game for 10 million cash!

??? - Lexi?

I turned around to see who the person was and it was my boyfriend!

Lexi- Mark? Are you also participating in this game?

Mark- yea.. I needed the money..

Suddenly the speaker of that room starts saying that the first round will begin in 2 minutes and during that time the crewmates and imposters will be chosen and there will be two imposters.

I was taken to a private room where a computer told me that I am a crewmate.

The game began.

I got a list of tasks on a paper which I needed to complete. I went to the electrical room and started fixing the wires.
