Yes what are Urban Legends? Some say they are fake, something to tell a misbehaving child to get them to start to stop them from acting up. While others think these are true creatures that roam the earth and that it is imperative that we address such things as facts. In reality the real debate is are they a bunch of hoaxs or are they facts?

That's what we will be studying in this chapter so I have looked up on Google to see the true definition of urban legends. Here's what I found.

The definition of urban legends " A humorous or horrific story or piece of information circulated as though true, especially one purporting to involve someone vaguely. Related or known to the teller."

Do to the particular evidence I have come across I have concluded a urban legend is not hoax or fact because each story or " legend" is a stretched version of truth with that being said not only in my research did I find the meaning of urban legends I have also found legends where I happen to be staying for the moment. I have heard many tales myself and I'm not talking the occasional paranormal stuff here and there I'm talking stuff that people the bone chilling feeling of something terrible or horrific will open itself up causing a commotion for those around.

Now what I have read so far indicates that urban legends are all around the world created bye people who where either drunk or native to somewhere like native to Alaska.

A lot of urban legends circle around the truth. Some people yes have experienced such a gruesome tale though most of the time they can be explained others incapable of explaining. Now a lot of urban legends are created by so called sightings and that most aren't Abel to survive the horrific Urban legends.

With this all being said you would think everyone knows about these certain tales, but sadly no. Not very many people think It's important to learn about them, which is understandable but at the same time if they are real don't you think you need a way to protect or prepare yourself in case you happen to run into one of these so called legends. Or maybe even if you where prepared some legends you have no way of escaping and you have no chance so hope you'll never meet these creatures but never say never.
