So far so good. I haven't even so much as brushed up into another person. And now it's just two minutes until first period and the halls were scattered with only a few students.

What class am I in again?

I looked down at my schedule and scanned the sheet for the room number of period one-Math.

Just as I found it I walked into something solid. A wall maybe?

Rubbing my forehead, which took most of the impact, I looked up from my schedule.

My heart sank when I saw that it wasn't a wall that I ran into after all, and instead a guy.

But not just a guy.

Liam Coleman.

The schools very own bad boy. And the last person I wanted to run into.

Well here goes nothing.

Without hesitation I crashed my lips into his.

He was too surprised to kiss back at first, but he quickly recovered and snaked his arms around me.

Now I was the one not responding due to shock. He didn't push me away?

Just as the kiss was about to deepen, I pulled away from him and sprinted down the thankfully empty hallway.

Emma Burns and her two besties have a tradition. Each year one girl takes a turn-the first guy you bump into on the first day of high school, you have to complete the Three kisses with.

Chapter-1

"No. freaking. way . " Stephanie, one of my two best friends, said slowly, taking in the horrifying incident that took place before my first class of the day.

"Liam coleman ,of course" Lisa my other best friend added.

Now let me explain.

The summer before high school, the three of us were trying to find a way to make the next four years of our lives intresting. So we came up with the game Three kisses.

The rules were simple. When it's your turn the first boy you run into on the first day of high school, you have to kiss. No explanation. No words at all. That's kiss number one.

Kiss number 2 is a bit trickier; you have to get the boy you kissed, to kiss you. But you still can't explain the game ,or ask him to kiss you.

And then finally, Kiss number three.

Tongue.

Yes that's right. You have to French kiss whoever you ran into.

And all these had to be separate kisses. You can't do tongue on the first kiss and count it as kiss one and three.

you have one school year to complete The Three kisses.

"Emma Do you know what you've just done? " steph asked snapping her fingers in front of my eyes to get my attention.

I sighed, "I didn't mean to Okay? "

"This is actually pretty great" Lisa laughed and I gave her my meanest glare.

How could this be great ? Or funny?

"Someone's finally gonna lose the game" she exclaimed when Steph and I didn't say anything.

Oh and did I forget to mention? If someone failed to get those Three kisses, they have to pay 100dollars each to the other players and strip down to nothing but their bra and underware, and run down a crowded school hallway.

Lisa was up first and succeeded in the first month of freshmen year, and Stephanie went the following year and won in the first half of the year.

They're both gorgeous girls, Lisa is tall, curly blonde hair, blue eyes, basically a model.. And Steph is an exotic beauty with shiny black hair and a killer body.

They didn't have any trouble winning the game , and they both got easy people.

And then there was me. Long, red hair, blue eyes, freckles on my nose and cheeks. Not to mention the fact that I was awkwardly short. I was nothing compared to my best friends.

And I got stuck with Liam freaking Coleman.

Lucky me!

"What am I gonna do? " I wined. I was already dreading the punishment of losing the game. Not to mention the humiliation I already felt by kissing the school's bad boy.

I'm sure he already told all his friends about the incident. They probably think I'm obsessed stalker weirdo or something.

I'm doomed.

"Well on the bright side, you finally had your first kiss" Lisa said, bringing me out of my thoughts.

I frowned, "well that calls for a celebration".

I was hoping I'd be kissed before it was my turn to play, but as you can probably tell, my luck sucks.

" Well, I'm heading to class. Later losers"I said as I stood up to leave, just as the bell rang.

As, I made, my way to class I avoided bumping into anyone like the plague.

I was almost at my class when out of nowhere someone stepped infront of me, causing me to crash into their chest because I didn't have enough time to stop myself.

"What the hell" I hissed, rubbing my already sore forehead.

"Maybe you should watch where you are going? " the person I bumped into said and my head ahot up to look at their face.

Liam Coleman.

Why is this happening to me?

"You stepped right in front of me, it's your fault I ran into you! " I exclaimed, throwing my hands up in defeat.

The nerve of some people.

He chuckled, "I was talking about this morning. "

Of course he was.

My cheeks heated up in embarrassment.

"I'm going to be late for class. " I mumbled and tried to walk around him, but he put his arm out to block my path.

"You're not even going to give me an explanation of what happened this morning? "

My cheeks burned with the brightest blush I've ever had. Why is he doing this to me?

"I have nothing to say. Now can you move si I can go to class? " Was all I said.

I can't explain what happened. It's part of the rules.

When he didn't say anything, I shoved past him and quickly got into my classroom. Thank god he didn't try to stop me this time. I hate being late being late for class.

And just when I thought I was in the clear, Liam comes strutting into the room.

There's no way he's in this class! It's advanced English. He probably can't even speak dumbed down English properly!

"Well look at that, we're in the same class. Now you have lots of time to give me an explanation" he said and sat in the chair beside mine.

Could this day get any worse?

I decided to ignore him. Surely he wouldn't keep talking if I wasn't replying, right?

Wrong.

Once the teacher started the lesson, I felt a poke on my shoulder.

"What? " I snapped without taking my eyes off the chalkboard.

"Tell me" was all he said.

I ignored him, but he kept poking me. He's a persistent idiot.

"Is it because you secretly have a crush on me and you just couldn't stop yourself. " he whispered so he wouldn't get caught talking.

I let out a quiet, humourless laugh.

"Yeah right, you appall me"

He signed in response to my answer. And out of the corner of my eye I saw him run a hand through his dark brown cliff.

"Why'd you kiss me then? "

"It's a secret. If I told you, I'd have to kill you. " I joked, and smirked when I heard another sigh leave his mouth.

"I'll find out the real reason. I promise"He announced confidently.

I laughed careful to keep my voice low so I wouldn't get into trouble.

"I highly doubt that. But good luck. "

For the next ten minutes Liam was actually quiet, which was wonderful. And then he raised his hand and said something which boiled my blood.

"Ms.Johnson, the girl next to me drew a picture of you and I think you should see"

I tried to look at Liam in horror....

One:Because he didn't even knew my name.

Two:Because on his desk was a sticky figure of the teacher , with boobs , and a speech bubble that said "I'm Ms. Johnson. And I'm the stupidest teacher in the school"

While Liam was quite for those ten minutes, he was executing, this plan to get me in trouble.

Ms. Johnson offered me a detention with a stern look before getting back to teaching the lesson.

For the rest of the class, I glared at the Proud looking Liam.

What a jerk.

"Detention" was written on the chalkboard in big, capital letters.

It was now the end of the day and I was sitting at a desk in my first ever detention.

I had time to think over the day, and the one thing that stumps me is why Liam got me in trouble. What would he get out of me being in detention? The satisfaction of knowing through the door broke me out of my thoughts.

Of course! He probably has detention everyday, and now that I'm here too he gets more time to bug me about the kiss.

"You know I feel kinda violated. I don't even know your name and you kissed me. " was his so pleasant greeting as he sat down at the desk in front of mine and turned around to face me.

I'm actually offended. I kissed him this morning and he didn't even try to find out my what my name was.

"You know, I don't recall you pushing me away. you're the one that kissed me back. You don't have a reason to feel violated. " I pointed out, a smirk on my face.

His smile flattered. I think I got him there.

He ran a hand through his hair, "I don't have to explain myself if you aren't explaining yourself. "

I shook my head and chuckled as the teacher walked into the class and shushed us.

"You know even though you are denying it now, you're going to fall for me. Every girl that's ever kissed me has fallen for me. " Liam pointed out matter of fact.

I rolled my eyes, "Not even in your dreams would that happen. "

"A man can hope. " He teased, giving me his most charming smile.

I'm sure most girls would feel butterflies in their stomachs or whatever when he smiled like, that at them. But not me.

"If you don't leave me alone I'm going to start thinking that you're the one with secret crush on me. " I whispered as, the teacher recited the rules of detention.

Hopefully that will get Liam to leave me alone. I've already accepted the fact that I lost the game, So I might as, well get him off my back.

"You'd have to do more than kiss me to get me to fall for you. " He countered, followed by a wink.

I screwed up my face up in disgust. "Not going to happen. "

He, rose an eyebrow, "We'll see. "

I just gave him another disgusted look and he laughed.

Until now I didn't notice that his eyes were golden brown, almost yellow color.

Other girls would probably get lost in them, but not me.

To my surprise, for the rest of the detention Liam didn't talk to me.

It was almost weird, being by him bot not talking with him. I'd already grown accustom to his blabbering mouth. But the silence was kind of refreshing, although the last time he was quite, he got me a detention.
