"why should I go to a dorm, am better off with going to school from home" I shouted.

 "no, you must" my father stomped his feet.

 "why" I screamed.

"because you will slack off" he said looking at me intensely.

I stomped to my room in anger.

"I won't go to any dorm in my life". I banged the door behind me.

"Mina, get back here" he shouted.

"I have a pretty slick idea" I headed over to my window.

I slided it open.

"woah" I looked down at the height.

it made me a little dizzy trying to pinpoint where i would land.

I put one of my legs through the window.

"breathe in then breathe out", I said as I put the last leg.

I stood on the extension of my window.

"okay, slowly and steady wins the race" I hopped over to the the next window coming down slowly.

"what, just steady" i carefully shifted my leg off the shaking window.

there was a simultaneous crack on the window.

"hia" I jumped to the next one but I missed a foot.

the window fell leaving me to dangle from the window I quickly jumped to.

"this is bad" I said as I tried to pull myself up.

"oh shit" the window cracks making me loose my grip.

I tried to grip on something before I go splat on solid ground.

the breeze was in my face as I fell,

"something must be here that I can grab" I thought.

"there" I managed to get grip of a pole as I fell although it took most of my strength.

"ow" I had hit the ground with my butt hardly.

"I now certainly believe there are no such thing as a romance fantasy" I sighed as I got off the floor.

Katy is my neighbor aka my bestie. we have know each other since she moved here the four years ago.

"of course, I don't want to go to some silly dorm" i sighed.

"but am going to live in a dorm" she said nervously.

    I went to father's room.

Katy had arrived at the same moment.

"Katy!!!!" I cut him off running after Katy with my luggage.

"I thought you didn't want to come😑" she said.

   "Well, i came so that both of us can have fun🤩" I hopped around.

   "Your right, we can have fun"her face lit up.

   "But now he have to hurry before we miss our room numbers".

    She pulled me into the school hall

"I hope we get to be the same room".

     "Woah, the place is so big" Katy was amazed with the interior designs.

     "Excuse me where can I find the hall where the freshmen will meet" Katy asked a complete stranger.

   "Oi oi oi, aren't we not meant to talk to strangers" i leaned in on her ear.

   "You fool, how are we gonna know our way round the school 💢" she said  as she stared at me furiously.

   "Duhhh, we ask.....pe..people" I said it out slowly.

"exactly 💢"she turned back to him

   "Well the freshman introduction doesn't start now, its by 8:00pm" he said.

   "what are we meant to do now" i gripped his shoulders tightly.

    "W...well...well....the....the." he stammered.

  "Speak up" i shouted at him.

"The...instructor...said...we...could..explore...the..campus😰" he said shivering.

"well that's what we should do right" I said as I pulled her.

"your all meant to drop your bags at the girls dorm" he said.

"well lets just find the dorm ourselves by exploring then" Katy gave a deep sigh.

we had walked for almost an hour

"this campus is so big" Katy started to pant heavily.

"ca..Fe..te..ria, oh the cafeteria" I pointed.

"where" Katy shrieked.

it was like all her hopes we're back together once more.

"c'mon" I pulled her towards the building.

there was a bell sound has soon as we pushed the door open.

"ohhh, freshman" the lady dressed in a chef outfit said.

"how did you know" I said.

"well, your still holding your luggages and this is the time freshmen are allowed in this school" she said.

"we can't find any of the dormitories" Katy slumped on the chair.

"ah, your just in luck, the girls dorm is right behind this cafe". she said.

"really" Katy said.

"yeah" she scratched her head.

"mina, let's start going" she said as she left the cafeteria.

"but we just got here"I sighed as I followed suit.

"there it is Katy pointed out' as she dragged me to the dorm.

"we could have least eaten something" i said faintly.

"woah" Katy was amazed by the space of the dorm.

"this is way bigger than both our rooms" I exclaimed.

"we don't even have rooms yet" i said.

"then we look for a temporary room".she said.

"here" Katy dropped her bag as we entered a room.

"finally", I flung my bag to the side as I slumped on the bed.

"all freshman are to take a rest before 8:00 for the dorm sharing" there was an announcement outside the door.

"did you hear that, so we have hours to rest before we can go for the ceremony" Katy turned to me.

"mina, what are you doing!!!" she exclaimed.

"well, staying in this dorm for hours will be pretty boring so I thought on going somewhere" I put my other leg outside the window.

"you will get us in trouble, we just got here" she said.

"I will will be back before you know it" I hopped outside the window.

"yeah" I landed smoothly on the ground cause the distance from the window to the ground wasn't even that high.

"now, where shall I go next" I left and started to stroll.

the place was everything to the word fancy,

a huge cafeteria, separate big dorms for only a few people, sleek furnished poles that shone bright light on the walkway and the elegant school uniform.

"it's just like a royal prep" I thought.

"hmmmmm, it's true I haven't thought of were to go" I said.

I strolled for a very long time maybe even in circles due to how big this place was.

I kept strolling until I found a sign.

"you are now leaving the girl dormitory" I read.

"so you mean all that time that I had been walking, I had not even left the girls dorm.

"7:30, oh God" I fell to the ground.

"I am basically stranded" I said.

"mina!!!!!!" I heard a voice that sounded just like Katy's.

"even in loneliness I can still think of her" I said hugging my knees.

why am I still hearing screams

"oi" Katy grabbed me by shirt and landed a heavy knock on me.

"what!!!!, Katy" I looked up.

"it's almost time for the naming ceremony" she said

she pulled me all the way to the hall.

"the hall was crowded and filled".

"there" Katy pointed out to empty seats".

we hurriedly took our seats.

"welcome freshman, to spring bright University" the announcer said.

the crowd started to clap

"now we will start the dorm sharing" he said, "please note that we have the three types of dorm, the boys only, the girls only and the mixed dorm." he said.

" a mixed dorm" I repeated.

"isn't that inappropriate" I added.

"dont think nonsense, there are rules" Katy said.

a long time had passed and he was still calling names.

"Katy,room 307" the announcer said.

I looked at Katy as she nodded her head.

he had assigned all the students to their various dorms.

"he didn't call you" Katy pointed at me.

"yeah, I don't know".

"mina jiu, you will see the vice principal after this".

"what did you do" Katy held me tightly.

" I didn't do anything" I stammered.

l "I couldn't even leave the girls dorm" I added.

"I can't believe someone will see the vice principal this early"

"I heard he is strict and evil".

" every student that entered his office was never seen in the school premises again".

"yeah, I heard a student was punished for a very a small crime and he was expelled..

"that person must be very unlucky.

murmurs Rose from the crowd as I had already began to give up the ghost.

"oi shut up" Katy shouted in the hall.

"no talking in the hall" he said.

"miss katy ,you shall also see the vice principal for your disturbance" he added

I could see tears filling up at her eye banks.

"katy, are you okay" I tapped her.

"yeah, friends am I right" she forced a smile.

"yeah" I smiles back cheerfully.

"so we are waiting" Katy said.

"miss muna, the vice principal will want to see you" the receptionist said.

"your free to go, miss Katy" she said.

"the vice president only wants to see her" thw receptionist said".

Katy deeply sighed and patted my shoulders.

"than..k" I turned behind and Katy wasn't there anymore, she already on the run to her dorm.

"right this way, miss mina" the receptionist led me through the hall.

"here is the office" she stood by the door.

"miss mina" Mr Zhu Jan said.

"excuse me sir, but am here to see the vice principal" I said.

"what do you mean by that 💢" he said

"well your to young and handsome to be the vice principal" I said.

"do you have manners, who else is in this office apart from me💢" he said calmly.

"a substitute" I smiled.

"eh...jus..just take your seat please"he covered his face.

"ok". I said as I took my seat.

"so the reason I called you here".

"I Know, I violated the rules, so you want to punish me or expell me" I interrupted him.

"can you just listen" he shouted

"and why aren't you taking me seriously" he said as he calmed down.

"well, the truth is that I have seen you before with my dad" I said.

"so all of this is planned" I added.

"well," he adjusted his glasses.

"I assume you heard about the mixed dorm in the ceremony" he said.

"yes I did" I answered.

"well, you are going to be staying in a mixed dorm" he said

"why" I exclaimed.

"that doesn't matter, you just need to pick your things and the ride will be waiting for you, if you have any questions, you are free to come anytime you want to" he said.

"now, I have to look for room 307", I entered the girls dorm.

"are you staying here" she asked.

"a mixed dorm" I shouted.

"what?😑" her mood quickly dimmed down.

"you....are..... goi....going.....to..live..with..boys" she said.

"how would you live with boys, your a girl" she said.

"I know we have separate rooms in one big house" I said.

"and I will be doing the peeping" I added

"sigh🤦" she looked at me

"I will always call you or meet with you in class" I said.

"well, anyways I am here for my bags" I said.

"thank you" I grabbed it from behind the door.

"wait" Katy called out but I had already left the room.

I had reached the parking lot but no one was there.

"since my ride isn't here I might as well have a look at the girls dorm".

I dropped my bag on the side walk and headed back inside.

I went deeper into the hallways as the atmosphere grew warmer.

"hey, stop that" I heard a voice not to far away.

"don't do that" I ran after the voice.

"what's wrong" I slided the door.

"ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh" they screamed.

the mist in the room began to clear up.

"what" I saw girls in towel and some bare taking a hot dip.

"hot....bath, for real can this school get any better.

I exclaimed.

"hey, close the door" one of them said.

"oh sorry my bad" I quickly swung the door shut

"meowwwwww 🙀" I head a shriek right beneath me.

I looked to the corner to see an orange haired cat with his tail Stuck in the door.

"sorry, I picked it up" it's face looked horrified and was stiff".

"are you okay" I snapped my fingers.

"meoww" he scratched me and jumped off me.

"hey come back here" I ran after it.

"come back" I kept chasing it.

"aha" I finally caught up to it.

"meowwwwww 😾" it struggled in my arms

I squeezed the cat Into me gripping it firmly.

"your so fluffy and soft" I said.

"I will call you fluffy" I carried it out

"I forgot" I ran outside with fluffy to see a black car modelled with the school logo.

"I think that's my ride" I said.

"miss jiu" the driver called out.

"it is" I carried my bag and threw it in.

"thank you sir" I entered with fluffy.

fluffy unexpectedly calmed down and started to cling to me.

"can we go to Mr Zhu Jan office first" I said to. the driver..

"okay, miss jiu".

The cat began to jump around as I mentioned Mr Zhu Jan's name.

"what's wrong" I pinned fluffy down.

"I just want to ask if I can keep you" I patted his head.

"I forgot the most crucial thing , are you a boy or a girl" I tryed to flip fluffy over.

"meow" it struggled.

"fluffy is boy" I flipped him over.

the cat seemed aggitated over what I did.

" is fluffy shy" I grabbed it to me.

"miss jiu, we are here" the driver said.

"let's go" I dragged fuffly has he held the car seat.

"Mr Zhu Jan" I badged into his office.

"what, you just left" he said

"well, I found this cat by the girls bath and I was wondering if I could keep him". I drew him out

"by the girls bath you say" he gave the cat a deadly glare .

"meow😿" the cat started to sweat and tremble seriously.

"your scaring him" I hid it behind my back.

"miss jiu, wait for me outside as we examine the cat, just drop him" he adjusted his glasses

as fluffy clinged to me even more.

"don't worry" I dropped fluffy on the desk and walked out.

"I hope he won't throw fluffy away".

** Zhu Jan's pov**

"ahem" I let a cough has I glared at Subaru.

"meowwwww" he purred and walked towards the door.

"Subaru" I said once more as I got off my seat.

"hehe, just joking" he had transformed back.

"your nose" I pointed at his nose as blood ran down.

"oh" he wiped it quickly.

"how many times have I told you"

"not to change into a cat form and sneak into the girls dorm, bleh bleh" he cut me shut.

"but by the way who is she" he said.

"i am too busy to tell you now" I sat back down.

"or don't tell me she is" he whispered in my ears.

"Subaru!!" I held him up.

"haha, Mr Zhu, I was just playing" he smiled at me.

"although her chest size isn't that big, it was enough to make me have a nose bleed in cat form"he said smiling again.

"enough" I couldn't listen to him blab all day about things that aren't indecent..

"she is staying with you guys in your dorm" I dropped him.

"oh" he smiled.

"don't even think about anything" I looked at him.

"she is coming change back immediately" I looked at Subaru.

"sure" he waved.

"meow" he sat on the ground tilting his head at me.

"Mr Zhu Jan, I heard noise" mina badged in.

"here is your cat" I looked at Subaru.

"no diseases or fleas" I added.

"but if it does anything inappropriate, don't forget to discipline it" I smiled at Subaru.

"okay, thank you so much" she said as she left.

"sighhh" I leaned back on my chair.

"Mr jiu, why put me through such troubles" I continued to work.
