She ran into her room.. Afraid, that he would make fun of how she looked now.. I mean, it’s been a few years, since they talked. Well, we can rewind.. So, it all started, in April 9th.. When, she met her brother’s bestfriend. She walked up to him, shaked his hand. “Hey! I’m Jasmine, but since your my brother’s friend.. You can call me Jas!” She smiled and gave him a small hug. They were in the 7th grade. But, when he met her back then, she was a big dork.. She would always talk about math and science. “Did you know that the—“ She talked so much about it, that everytime Marco, heard her, he would burst out laughing. Back, to the present now. She was just nice. Although, she helped everyone with their problems.. No one really.. Understood her problems. It was as if, they couldn’t see through the act. But, it was fine with her. As long as, everyone’s happy, she should be happy too, right? Or, so she thought..

Pfft, who am I thinking.. That a boy will not like me? It sounds stupid. It’s not like I have a crush on him.. Or do I? She thought to herself.. Her heart started racing. She got up and brushed her hair. Took a quick shower and came out of her room.. Behind the door, stood her brother, Sam.

“Go change, we are going to the mall. Not a slumber party.” He teased. Jasmine hit him, softly. “Hey! That’s not funny. I’ll go change.” She sighed. She walked back into her room.. It took her only, 10 minutes to pick an outfit. This is what, she came up with..

She came out of the room. Noticing that, Marco was staring at her, frozen.

He was petting their family cat. Once, he saw her.. He was mesmerized. He kept staring. Until, he stopped zoning out. “Marco?” She asked, her face was close to his. “Are you okay?” She notice him, slightly blush. She thought, he was just weirded out. So, she moved back. “Yeah, I’m fine..” He said. Sam stared at them, getting pissed off. He took off his glasses. “Stop flirting, already. Either you kiss, or stop.”

Both, Jasmine and Marco.. Start blushing, furiously. They were as red as tomatoes. Sam, purposely tripped Jasmine.. Causing, her to fall onto Marco’s lap.

She looked at Marco. Then, she jumped up when she realized, she was on his lap. “I am so sorry.” Jasmine said. But, in her mind.. She was apologizing, for her dunb brother’s trick. “It’s fine, can we go shop now?” Marco said. Sam stared at those two, with a serious face. “I’ve waited 18 minutes.. Now, your asking to go?” Sam sighed. Then, said out loud, “Shit! I have a date, so you guys can go.” Jasmine’s eyes widened. “Show me her!” She said, excited to see her brother’s girlfriend. “Fine.” He sighed. He went on his phone. He showed Jasmine, a photo of his girlfriend.

Jasmine’s eyes lit up.. “She’s so pretty!” Sam looked at her, and said, “Shut up, and go on your date with Marco.” Jasmine and Marco, both said, “It’s not a date!” in sync. They looked at eachother and turned bright red. Marco and Jasmine, left the house. They went to the mall.
