It all started when our mom left, she left us for another man and cheated on Dad. Celeste was the closest with her and made Celeste not leave her room for days. While Cinnamon was the complete opposite, she despised our mom. It broke her so badly that she just hated everything about her.
She soon got over it like any other kid would. But then she met her 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱 the one that completely ruined her.
Her name was Rin, they met when they were in the 4th grade. Rin wasn't as rich and didn't have a lot of money as we did. But that didn't matter to Cinnamon because she finally had a friend she could talk to about anything. Whatever troubled her, she would go to Rin. Whoever Cinnamon disliked and would talk badly behind their back, she would go to Rin. Whenever she needed advice because she was troubled, she would go to Rin.
This was the normal routine between them. Rin came over a lot and we all made sure to welcome her with open arms and made her feel at home because we didn't want her to be left out since she didn't have much money. We treated her like family.
That was until the freshman year of high school... While Cinnamon went to Hawaii for a trip... Rin decided to sleep with her boyfriend... When Cinnamon came back and found out after a month, she confronted Rin but Rin didn't feel bad at all about it.
So, Cinnamon thought all broke people would be like that and started acting out. Only if... She met someone who wasn't Rin or acted like Rin... I wanted her to meet a true friend. Instead, she got stuck with Rin.
