Mr CEO Ruins Me
Episode One
Honestly I never liked the idea of remaining alone with said employer all night long. It unnerves me because he makes me nervous under his piercing gaze.
He's doing it right now as I try hard to concentrate on what I'm being tasked with.
I held the pen down a little bit too tight as I scribbled down notes taking note of my trembling fingers.
I began to chant and decided to end it.
Maya
"Mr Silva, can you please stop staring? It's hard to concentrate when you do so".
I spoke eyes glued to my work as I waited for a while for his response but nothing, I got nothing, not even a sharp glare nor his usual thorny words.
Walking across the spacious office to meet with said man. I dropped my completed task on his messy desk filled with drafts and sat down facing him, the desk creating a division between us.
This got his attention as he narrowed his cold eyes dangerously on my small form. I looked away feeling my confidence drain being under his scrutiny once again. I never could maintain eye contact with him, I get nervous.
Mr. Silva
"You have something to say. Tell me".
Maya
"Yes, I was about to tell you I want to quit my job".
Episode Two
Silence ensued as the temperature of the chill office dropped lower. I didn't dare say a word as I felt his rising temper. My eyes darted around as I sat fiddling my fingers.
His voice finally dissected through the silence that was slowly killing me.
I was lost. Normally when an employee submits a resignation letter or decides to straight out quit no one questions their decision and certainly not Mr Silva because a post is never left vacant for up to an hour because of high competition to get into the best of the best Silva corp. Plus I can't possibly tell him I want out because I think he's into shady things that would be me being idiotic. So I prefer to stay quiet hoping he doesn't push it and just let me be.
But this is Mr Matteo Silva we are talking about.
He asked again. I could see the irritation build up in his eyes but I was still adamant on not revealing the truth. So I went for this instead...
Maya
"I believe I'm entitled to my own personal business sir. It's not of your concern".
I replied shortly, keeping my voice sweet and simple.
Mr Silva shockingly released a cold chuckle. He swirled around in his seat then got up moving towards me...
Episode Three
His steps echoing across the walls got me alert in awareness.
My body was telling me to run for the hills, but I decided to stand my ground and not cowardly make a dash for the door which seemed miles away.
The office became silent once again filled with an impending doom. Mr Silva's threatening footsteps were gone, there was no trace of him.
Suddenly a huge shadow cast behind my shaky form.
There was no need to turn around to know its Mr Silva hovering above me.
I flinched as his hand reached towards my ponytail. His long fingers stroked it gently as I kept my gaze down, too scared to move, and he knew it.
It was a temporary calm before the storm, and I was proven right as my hair almost got yanked out its roots.
He turned my face to the side giving me a look that says he's going to kill me if I dare challenge him.
He tightened the grip on my hair as soft whips of his breath fanned my face.
Mr. Silva
"One last f**king chance Maya"
He emphasized every word looking down at me
His eyes found mine daring me to act smart, I wasn't dumb enough to fall into the same trap twice. I gulped and opened my mouth...
