In a dark and damp room Naomi Smith was lying on the floor covered in blood. She was struggling to get herself to get up from the floor. She hears the sound of the door opening and she struggles to adjust her eyesight with the sudden light coming from the door. As soon as her eyes adjust to the brightness, what greets her eyes is a woman who looks very graceful, donned in luxurious clothes and dolled up that woman is none other than her sister Lillian Smith. Naomi becomes happy at the sight of her sister thinking that finally someone has come to rescue her. But then she heard Lillian say sister you're still alive, i expected you to be dead by now. Naomi was shocked to hear her sister’s words and felt that she was hallucinating. How can her kind sister suddenly speak like this? Lillian laughed looking at her reaction. She walked up to Naomi and pulled her hair to make her eyes meet with her menacing gace. She said in a cold voice don’t call me sister as we have never been sisters. You were simply adopted by my parents to be my shadow.Mom and dad found you in an orphanage, you looked beautiful and hence they decided to use you as my shadow so that people can compare you with me and then praise me for being kind and loving. Did you think that you were kidnapped by those people was a coincidence, how naive. I planned your kidnapping so that we can break your engagement with Richard without a hitch. By the way, I forgot to tell you that Richard is also here with me. As soon as she finished saying these words a tall and handsome guy walked in wearing an expensive tailor-made suit. He looked down at Naomi and sneered saying she is still alive, I guess then I can tell her on her face that the one I love is not her but Lillian. Listening to this Naomi felt like a bucket of cold water was poured over her head. She was stunned. The guy she had loved for 10 years was standing in front of her holding her sister in his arms and claiming to love her sister. Naomi struggled to keep her tears from streaming down her face while saying “we have been engaged for 18 years Richard, you promised to love and marry me, you must be lying to me now. Tell me that all this is just a lie”. Richard sneered saying “why should I love an adopted daughter; you are nothing but a boring woman. I have always only loved Lillian. She is a kind and gentle person. She begged to come and see you the minute we found your location, and anyways you have been kidnapped for an entire week and have been violated by your kidnappers, why would I want to marry a dirty woman?” saying this he turned around to leave.

Lillian spoke to Richard in a weak and gentle tone saying “Richard dont say that about my sister, she is so pitiful” Lillian was an expert at putting on a weak and gentle persona. She then started crying saying “sister is sorry this is all my fault but i really do love Richard a lot, please give us your blessings.” She then begged Richard to give them some alone time so she can say her goodbyes. Richard left the room giving one final disgusted look to Naomi.

After Richard left the room Lilian put away her gentle persona and put on the previous smug expression. She squatted down in front of Naomi and said, “Your kidnapping was planned by me; I paid those men to kidnap and violate you and then break your leg and leave you here to die.” Naomi shivered just thinking about the way she was treated by those men for an entire week. She was begging them to let her go but those men would just laugh at her misery, they broke her leg when she tried to struggle. They stripped her off her clothes and violated her over and over for an entire day. She kept hoping that someone would come and save her, but to her horror those kidnappers kept torturing her. The next day of the kidnapping they injected her with drugs and then brought different men to let them have their way with her. At the end of the week, they beat her up and left her in this dark and cold place to die. Naomi cried saying “why did you do this to me? What have I done to you?” Lillian laughed like a maniac and said “my dear sister, you did nothing wrong. It’s just that I hate that face of yours, I always just used you so that everyone could compare you with me and praise me for being kind and gentle. On my 16th birthday I was the one who had tampered with your clothes so that your clothes would fall apart during the party."Did you really think mom and dad loved you? They would always celebrate my birthday while just ignoring your birthday saying that since it's the month end, they are having some financial problem and hence can't celebrate it. Mom purposely brought you revealing and slutty clothes so that people think that you are a spoiled girl. But old Mrs Davidsons that old hag had to just make you get engaged to Richard. At first Richard liked you because of that face of yours and he agreed to be with you. But then I started slowly degrading your image in his eyes. Making you seem like a spoiled girl. He fell in love with me but his grandmother just won’t let him cancel his engagement. By the way, did you know Richard and I have been together since my 10th birthday. We just kept lying to you. I forgot to tell you I am already pregnant with his child.” Naomi felt like she was struck by lightning. The people she trusted the most were the people who hated her the most. Her fiance who she had been engaged with since the age of seven has been cheating on her with her sister. She felt utterly hopeless.

Lillian got closer to Naomi and said “sister, do you know who your real parents are?? Mom and dad found your real parents a week ago. They wanted to use you to get closer to them. That’s why I planned your kidnapping. How could I let you outshine me? You are the only daughter of the Williams family. The Williams family have been looking for you for the last 24 years. You separated from them as the nanny of the Williams family had kidnapped you in order to get ransom, but she lost you while trying to escape. That’s when my parents found you.” Lillian stepped on Naomi’s face and laughed saying “you were and shall always be just my shadow. With that pretty face of yours how could I let you reunite with Williams?”

Naomi remembered the Williams as one of the top 4 richest families in s country. The smiths and the davidsons were not even one tenth of the Williams in terms of wealth and status. The Williams consisted of 8 members. Among them the youngest of the 8 being their daughter was lost 24 years ago and they have been looking for them since then. She remembered that her adoptive father had been trying to get acquainted with the Williams for the last 5 years but was never qualified. Naomi also remembered that all those years her parents have been biased towards her. They would beat her up at the slightest mistake. They would never celebrate her birthday, her birthday was right after thanksgiving day and would fall at the end of november. Her parents would always tell her that since they have just celebrated the thanksgiving day they are a little short of money and hence cant celebrate her birthday and that they would make up for it by giving her gifts instead. Her mother would always buy her revealing clothes making her look like a loose woman. One year Naomi had liked one of the dolls that Lillian got as a present on her birthday. Naomi just took that doll to admire it for a few minutes, when Lillian had cried saying that Naomi was being unreasonable and had snatched her gifts from her. All the guests looked at Naomi with contempt. Now that she thinks about it she can remember that Lillian had always been using her as she would always exchange her project papers with Naomi’s as Naomi was very good at her studies. One year Lillian had also locked Naomi in her room during exams so that she wouldn’t make it in time and hence fail the exams.

Thinking about all the past grievances Naomi felt resentment in her heart. She prayed to god to receive one chance to meet her biological parents.

She felt her consciousness slowly fading and she died a pitiful death. Right then there was lightning and the necklace that Naomi had on her since birth started glowing with bright red light and everything became quiet. Naomi felt like she was floating on clouds slowly drifting around when she heard a beeping noise and she opened her eyes. What greeted her was a vast bright place like empty space. She heard a mechanical voice saying hello Naomi. I have been waiting for you for a really long time. Naomi frantically started looking around to see who it was that spoke to her. The mechanical voice once again spoke saying “I am the pendant that you have been wearing on your neck. I was awakened by your blood and your will for revenge. I shall send you back in time to when you were 5 years old so that you can rewrite your fate. You can use this space as you wish. As you improve your capability so will this place get upgraded. When you return you shall be provided with a personal computer, internet and all the news to the date of your death. So in short you can have the news of the future at your disposal. After saying that Naomi lost her consciousness. When she opened her eyes a familiar looking room came to her view. She looked around and realized that this was her room and the decoration of the room was similar to what it was when she was 10 years old. She pinched herself to check if she was dreaming only to feel the pain from the pinch. She hurriedly got out of her bed to check the calendar. The date was one day before her birthday. She went to check on herself in the mirror. What greeted her was a flawless face. She had a fair flawless face with long slender legs. Her silky-smooth hair reached her waist. She was absolutely beautiful. Just then there was a voice in her head saying "connection with the host established". At once she remembered what the system had said before her death. She was back to the past and will take revenge on everyone who harmed her.

Naomi got up and got ready to go downstairs for breakfast. When she reached downstairs she saw that her parents and her dear sister were sitting and having their breakfast. They looked like a happy family of three. Naomi realized that all these years they had never waited for her for breakfast they never really treated her like family. They never woke her up nor waited for her and if she asked then they would say that they didn't want to disturb her sleep. She walked down the stairs and went and sat across them on the dining table. Her parents Winona and James suddenly stopped laughing and talking. They looked at Naomi and started wondering how come she woke up earlier than usual. Her sister Lillian put up a kind expression and smiled at Naomi saying sister don't get angry with mom and dad, we were just having breakfast and we didn't want to disturb your sleep since you were sleeping soundly. Naomi 's eyes turned cold as she looked at this hypothetical family of three. They were all good at faking their feelings. Winona hurriedly called the maid and asked to serve breakfast to Naomi. 

Naomi silently had her breakfast then got up and went back to her room. She sat in her room and started thinking about all the things that happened in her last life.Then she stood up and looked at herself in the mirror checking her pendant in the mirror. She was wearing a round pendant with a pearl-like texture in the middle. It has been pure white since her birth and she remembered that it was pure white till she was alive in her past life. But now there was a bright red color in the center of the pendant like blood. It was pretty eye-catching. She remembered that just before her rebirth the system had mentioned that it was activated from the pendant by her blood.She started thinking about how to go about her revenge. 

She wanted to reunite with her biological parents as soon as possible. She remembers that her birth parents have been desperately searching for her. She started searching for her memories about her biological family. She remembers that she has three elder brothers, her parents and her grandparents. Her eldest brother is  a doctor, her second brother is the CEO of Williams group and her third brother is a pilot.Her mother was a very famous fashion designer in the past and her father was a world renowned artist. 

Naomi was very talented at jewelry designing in her last life. She intended to use her skills as well as the knowledge of the future to her advantage so that she would be able to get stronger financially so as to be able to leave the Smith family as soon as possible. She needed a well detailed plan in order to achieve her goal. Naomi felt like she needs to improve herself and make herself strong so that she would be able to protect herself.
