Chapter 1 : Everyone is main character of their life……

In the small town of C city. A girl with lot of ambitions, dreams,

full of curiosity about everything. And one thing to know about her is that she

is a crazy fan girl. She has acne on her face. She has a mole on her chin. But

she never cares about it. Always confident about how she looks. And she is

Venice. Her family is not well off but living a good life with laughter and

small happiness. She lives with a joint family. She loves her family, cousins. Her family is like everything, her happiness. She has a crush on M city boy. Who

is her family friends. From the childhood, they hate each other for no reason.

The boy hate her. So eventually she also hates him. From the kindergarten to 12th grade, they have been together in every summer vacations. He is serious type,

very mysterious, don’t let anyone know his next move, have contagious laughter,

he is very funny with his close ones. Otherwise, serious. He has a birthmark on

his face in between the eyebrows. He is cutie chubby when he was child. And He is Bunny.

Bunny’s family is really well off. He lives in a bungalow. Have cars. Really a

wealthy person.

Even though they hate each other, they still have to play

with each other. Because of common friends. The group always play together in

every vacation. The funny thing is they can’t stand each other, not even 1

minute. Every time they play any game, it starts with these two fighting each

other. Somehow they end up being a pair in the game. That’s so funny to others.

Everyone in the group ships them. And wanted to see them together without

fighting.

 The only thing that connect Venice and bunny is music. Though they have different taste in music. Like

Venice is into K-POP. And bunny is into typical country music. Venice loves all

kinds of music. Music is the only thing that they do not fight. Though, bunny love typical

country music. He respects every kind of music. The only thing they agree on is

music. Bunny always says, “Music has no language barrier, you could just listen

to it and feel it”. And this is the only thing Venice like about bunny. That he

never judge her by her music taste. When music topic over, then they back to

their old self, fighting again and again.

Every time they play, Bunny is like “if she is going to play

with us, I am not going to play”. It’s like every single time. The group always

find them funny. Every time, groups has to convince him to play. The group have

“Venice, Bunny, Ryan, Pamela, Paul, Grace, Daniel, and Stella”. Venice and

Daniel are real sister brother. They are all cousins except Bunny. Whenever

summer vacation end, everyone is sad. No wants to leave. They make a pact that next

summer vacation they are definitely going to meet. Life is going well. Then

everyone is growing. Now everyone is 9th grade. In the group, Pamela

is big sister to everyone.

Since everyone is growing, everyone is getting busy with their studies.

Now they don’t have time for holidays.

Since Pamela is a big sister she grew up too fast, she acts like mature when she is only one year older than Venice and Bunny, She is like “You should study now instead of playing, think about your future”.

She suddenly stopped playing with the group. Venice loves her sister Pamela like always. She always wanted affection from her.

But Pamela is very strict with herself and others also. She is too focused on her future than enjoying the little joy of youth that will never come. That joy will be in our memory forever.

As she grew she forgot to enjoy her life and only thought about the future and grades though she is a very smart girl who always excels in math. Math is her strong point. She wanted to become a CA.

The reason she is being tough and strict on herself is her responsibilities towards her siblings. She has five siblings in which her real siblings are Paul and Grace. And her step-siblings are very small kids.

She has a stepmom. Which is good and bad also in many ways. Even though Pamela is strict and sometimes rude still Venice loves her and wants her affection. Since they live in the same house.

Since Pamela is a big sister and only one year older than Venice. Pamela’s books always go to Venice. So Venice has to follow everything that Pamela does, like where Pamela is getting tuition Venice also must go to that tuition that’s what everyone’s mindset is.

Pamela and Venice were always compared by family members. Pamela is a smart girl so is Venice also, only that Venice has good grades and Pamela has A+ great grades.

But Venice is an all-rounder girl. She is a dancer. She has been learning ballet dance since she was 8 years old. She is great at ballet dance. Venice is getting prizes in drawing competitions and handwriting competitions. Venice is a silent girl.

She is shy to express her feelings. She has only close friends two pearls and Naomi. The thing is Pamela and Venice go to the same school so Pamela’s friend also is the friend of venice.

Though Venice is all-rounder the family didn’t recognize her. They only see Pamela because she has a mother and she is pitiful. And she has great A+ grades. So they only value Pamela. Seeing this thing, Venice always gets sad. She is like why it is like this? I am also doing a good job in everything. Why does everyone not appreciate me? Since she is shy she can’t express herself.

Every teacher and her friend’s parents appreciate Venice but the family members only appreciate Pamela. After all this Venice never even once was jealous of her or envious of her.

She is always genuinely happy whenever Pamela does something good. Always clapped for her bragging about Pamela and how great her sister is and she is so proud of her sister Pamela.

Venice still wants affection from Pamela. But Pamela never notices anything or may she don’t know how to express it. That’s how Venice’s Pamela is…..

Grace is Pamela’s real sibling, but she is much closer to Venice than to Pamela. Venice loves Grace dearly and always takes care of her.

She was the one who taught Grace how to dance. Grace constantly looks for Venice and is so attached to her that even their family members joke that Grace and Venice seem like real sisters.

Wherever Venice goes, Grace follows. Whatever Venice does or eats, you’ll always find Grace right beside her.

Grace is a good girl, but she has a short temper. Don’t even think about messing with her—she won’t hesitate to put you in your place.

She’s sweet but has a sharp edge. She treats people exactly how they treat her. If someone wrongs her, she believes in “an eye for an eye.” She doesn’t care who she’s talking to; if they treat her badly, she’ll show no mercy.

Even Venice sometimes finds her intimidating and has to remind her, “Chill, girl, chill.” But Grace? She doesn’t know how to chill when she’s angry.

There’s one particularly funny story about Grace—one that proves how tough she is, except when it comes to her father.

One time, Grace and Venice decided to try eating natural clay, even though they knew they shouldn’t. That clay was meant for skincare, but they were curious. So, they bought some and stuffed it into Grace’s dress pocket. The problem? Eating natural clay was strictly forbidden in their house. And to make things worse, Adam Uncle—Grace’s father—was the strictest figure in the family.

He was responsible for all the cousins’ education and school matters, and he was terrifying. If you did something wrong, a slap was guaranteed.

As they walked into the house, Adam Uncle spotted them. “Where were you two?” he asked.

Panic set in. Grace and Venice started fumbling with their words. Adam Uncle was a genius at reading faces—he could tell immediately when someone was hiding something. “Where did you go?” he repeated.

Trying to stay calm, they replied, “We were just wandering around the food shops in the alley.”

But Grace was so nervous that she unknowingly kept touching her pocket. Adam Uncle noticed and narrowed his eyes. “What’s in your pocket?” he asked. “Show me.”

At that moment, Grace completely lost it. She was so scared that she suddenly burst into tears.

Uncle raised an eyebrow. “Why are you crying? I didn’t even say anything yet. What are you hiding?”

But the more he questioned her, the harder she cried. She couldn’t even speak. Adam Uncle started laughing. “I haven’t even scolded you yet, and you’re already crying?”

This went on for almost an hour. Eventually, Adam Uncle gave up. “Just go,” he sighed.

The moment he let them off, Grace and Venice ran outside, grabbed the clay from her pocket, and threw it into the dustbin.

From that day on, they swore never to eat or even apply that clay to their skin again. They hated it forever.....
