She lost her first love ten years ago and currently works at a police station  On the day of her best friend's 18th birthday, she decided to confess her feelings to Min-Jun, only to find him dead in their high school photography studio, and she was ultimately unable to tell him how she felt, regretted not telling him before and thought he died because of her. After ten years passed, she accidentally receives mysterious photos left behind by Min-Jun and travels back to the past numerous times to save his life.

Lee Bora's first love who died ten years ago on his 18th birthday; according to all official reports, he died due to suicide. He was a popular student and had amicable relationships with all of his schoolmates. He also performed well academically. However, alongside a confession of his feelings in a letter to Bora, he admits that he doesn't open up to others easily and can be moody and jealous underneath his bright and easygoing personality. Bora finds this letter on his birthday and Memorial Day ten years later, which ultimately leads to her discovering the time travel capabilities of the photographs and her attempts to save his life.

Kim Min-Jun's older sister. She runs a café and takes care of her parents, who struggled after the sudden death of her brother. She is good friends with Bora in the present.

The series tells the story of Lee Bora, who travels to the past through mysterious photos left by her first love, Kim Min-Jun. They had been close friends since they were eight years old, but he died by suicide on his birthday ten years ago. Ten years later on his Memorial Day, Bora receives an exceptional opportunity as a gift; using mysterious photos left behind by Min-Jun, Bora goes back to that day in the past to find out why he chose to die and save his life.

Lee Bora is going to confess her feelings to her friend and crush, Kim Min-Jun on his 18 birthday. However, when she gets to the photography club room where they agreed to meet, being all excited about the surprise he might have prepared for her, she actually finds his dead body as he committed suicide. Pretty harsh if you ask me.

Then we jump ten years in time later. Bora works in a police station. She ends up going back to her highschool for work and obviously she isn’t too happy about it, since it’s also the memorial day. Her colleagues argue about first love and she’s definitely uncomfortable.

While looking for the lost dog, she’s having a flashback of her and Min-Jun arguing about some film, for a camera. She trips and he catches her, they obviously have feelings for each other. And they bicker at each other when their friends tease them.

As she’s about to catch the puppy they came looking for, Bora keeps hallucinating Min-Jun. She remembers a time she told him another guy is better than him and when he asks her what she thinks of him, she friendzones him, too afraid that he would reject her if she confessed her feelings. So he doesn’t let her stay to help developing the pictures. And then of course, flashback of his death. And she catches the little dog.

She finds back Min-Jun’s old camera on her way to a café to meet with a friend and she could get 9 pictures taken by the camera too, the others couldn’t be printed since it’s been too long. The old man seems to know who she is, he wants to tell about a letter but she leaves without listening.

She meets with her friends but then they talk about Min-Jun and when one of them asks why he did that, she takes the blame all on herself. It’s obvious that the guy following her has a crush on her, but she seems pretty obvious about it. She’s wondering if she could have done something to stop him from dying.

She comes back home crying and looks at the photos. She reads his confession letter after throwing into the flames a picture he took of her and she wishes to see him one more time. When she opens her eyes, she wakes up back in the past.

She see a flashback where she was begging Min-Jun to take her picture, but he wouldn’t. So, Eun-Song(one of her male friends'), said he would lend her his camera instead, so because they are rivals, he takes a picture of her, so she doesn’t need to take Eun-Song’s camera.

"If I had taken a more notice of you or cared more about you, would you still be alive?"

This goes back and forth between the past and the present through her first love that she lost to suicide on his birthday 10 years ago, and the mysterious photos that he left behind

After burning a picture, Bora wakes up back

in the past as a high school student when her friend is still alive. While

rushing to see him, she hurt her knee in the stairs to go see him in the

photography club room. When she sees him, she runs to him and hugs him, crying.

Then their other friends come in, asking if their dating and she’s convinced

that it’s a dream. Even when he takes her to the nurse’s office to treat her

wound, she keeps on blabbing it’s a dream and that it’s alright and will be

over soon . Then Cha Eun-Song comes in and snatches the girl away back to

class. Then she hasn’t been there for that long and she takes off to go see Kim

Min-Jun and making hearts through the window.

When class is over she asks him to go to

lunch with her, but he says he has to go somewhere. So she decides to follow

him. Her friends thought that she had hurt her head too with her knees. He

agreed with her following him, then when he was starting to ride his bike, she

stopped him and sat on the back of his bike. He  then takes her to the photography shop. He

asked her if she’s going to follow her inside even if he doesn’t ask her to,

and after taking a pause for some seconds she told him laughing that she’s

going to follow him inside too. He secretly smiled at her by hearing her

answer. She found his camera in there. The photo studio owner said that he was

glad to meet her in the real life, when she asked him what he meant by that, he

said that he had seen her face many times while doing film work. Then she came

to know that he(Kim Min-Jun) developed pictures of her. Then the shop keeper

tells her to be careful and not to mess too much with the past and if she does

that she will be unhappy. But she still thinks it’s a dream. Then they both

start going to their classes. While going on the bike she hears some sounds and

the moment she opens her eyes she realizes that she’s back. She thinks it was a

good dream where she met Min-Jun but doesn’t know that she had actually went

back to the past.

The next day, she realizes she still has a

bruise on her knee, but she’s going to be late so she doesn’t dwell too much about

it. Her friend(Cha Eun-Song), is at her work place, he’s a reporter. She helped

him out and she asks him to treat her for dinner. Then she asks if she always

had that scar on her knee.Eun-Song, says it has always been ever since that day

in the nurse’s office. And then she starts to have new memories.She takes off

to call another friend and ask if she remembers that. And then she realizes she

changed the past and that if she do it properly, maybe she can save him. So she

looks for a way to travel back to the past and she realizes it’s the pictures.

So she burns another one.

Once

she’s back in the past, she goes looking for Kim Min-Jun. She tells him to

never die and that she will never allow that to happen.
