Death.
Death and destruction.
Two things I was way too familiar with, although that was not the part the disturbed me the most.
It was the pain. The feeling that clouded my senses, my decisions. the thing about pain is that is eventually gets watered down by time.
But what if you are forced to relive that pain every day? as if time won't let you forget. But instead fuels the pain so that the wound keeps getting bigger and bigger until you are swallowed by your own Misery.
How long would I be Plagued by such thoughts?
How long would I let my mind be hunted by guilt and trauma?
Though questions seemed to eat away at my being they seemed to chase away any thoughts of happiness that might somehow creep in.
I Stared at the ceiling as such thoughts invaded my mind only to be reminded of the reason I go through every day, the reason I survive.
The promise that was made to me long ago, the promise of happiness of belonging.
life without guilt only happiness were no sadness can sneak in. the perfect World that one promise seemed to create.
But I will pull through. I will go through every day waiting until that promise was fulfilled.
I slowly got up from my warm and inviting mattress and made my way to the kitchen I started heating the kettle, while it was heating I went to get ready.
I approached my vanity and skimmed though my clothes although makeup is not a favorite of mine clothes are one of my passions, after some time I settled on a simple shirt with a forest green skirt and a shall.
I considered myself Beautiful I have silky tan skin and greenish eyes though I never were makeup like the other girls my age and I don't have much in common with them either which does not help with my social life, which is currently nonexistent. I sigh and remind my self not to think of such useless things.
I check my appearance one more time and leave the room to check the kettle. I could hear it's screeching from the room a sure signal the water had boiled. I quickly open the cabinet on the upper left side of the stove and grabbed the fresh chamomile and mint leaves I carefully dropped them in the kettle.
Soon the intoxicating smell the leaves produced invaded my nostrils and I stood there contemplating the sweet smell.
I swiftly opened the cabinet on the right upper corner and grabbed a mug I put the mug on the counter and turned off the stove I grabbed the kettles handle and slowly poured the sweet liquid into the tan mug.
After finishing the calming tea I remembered that I had to venture into the town once again the day I so despised had once again poked it's ugly head out.
I gritted my teeth together remembering the last visit, unfortunately, it's what they call a necessary evil. I sighed I tried to comfort my self by the thought that I would receive new books for my growing collection, that thought alone made a grin spread across my face.
With newly found motivation I grabbed my basket and handkerchief, I also made sure to put on my cloak I made sure it covered my face.
After I had made all of the preparations I opened the door of my cottage, it was a nice home it was cozy and welcoming.
After looking back one more time I started heading toward the town I walked slowly and observed my surroundings. the nature that flourished around me was astonishing it was breathtaking the birds sang lovely songs and everything smelled fresh.
I was so distracted by the Serenity of the forest that I was taken by surprise when I reached the town, had I really been walking that long? It felt like a few seconds ago I had embarked on the journey to the town. I arranged my posture and prepared my self for the events that would take place in this town.
I walked in the town and the talking ceased and only the wipers of the winds could be heard the woman grabbed their children and told them not to stare as they themselves looked over at me with pity, as my figure glided through the streets.
Soon enough the talking started once again I could not help notice it was more cautious than before, but I held my head up high. I had no need for there pity.
I made my way towards the only book store in this small town, I saw the building in the distance, relief washed through me.
I rushed in the building and as soon as was inside I let my hood fall no need for it here after all nobody came here I am the only literate person in the town. (not counting the nobles) so I was the only person that actually frequently visited this library.
"Sahara! What a pleasure to have you here again, I assume you are here for the new arrivals?." said the old men Ray as he sat behind an eroding wood desk.
I smiled warmly at him. "well of course! how could I bare not visiting my old friend?"
He chuckled and smiled at with the same warmth, "well child I'll leave you to it then."
With that out of the way, I started walking through the library, the smell of books and knowledge brought a calming effect with it.
Soon the sun had reached its highest point of the day, it served as a reminder it was time to return home. I quickly grab all the books I was going to purchase.
I rushed to the checkout desk to were Ray Still resided. I paid for all of the books, 3 to be specific.
As I walked through the crowded streets of the town as people pushed and rubbed against each other. I had some hope that I would reach the road without any intervention!
"O Sahara!" I spoke too soon.
"You're here again, I'm surprised considering what happened a few months ago I thought you would be Grieving over your loses. O but I guess that picking up books is important too."
And here you have it, ladies and gentlemen, the only noble in this small town. Barbara is the daughter of Baron Tomlinson Orient she loves to bouts her Title even though her father is of the lowest of nobility but considering she is higher than commoners she liked to view her self better than everybody else.
Barbara was a pretty person but she was still poisonous and the sad part is she was not even smart about it her comments were shallow and transparent.
Today she wore a blue dress with a red bag hanging from it.
I took a deep breath as I slowly turned around
I look at her with eyes filled with annoyance
" A hello Barbara didn't your third uncle died last week?" I said in retaliation with a blank tone
"yes. And?" she said with anger creeping into her glare.
"no just wondering, I thought that the greaving lasted two weeks, I must have been mistaken."
I said in a fake apologetic tone, she opened her mouth to retaliate against my comment but the loud chimes of the bell stopped everything dead in their tracks even the birds seem to quiet down.
Then suddenly everybody snapped out of there momentary shock and started running. my eyes widened and I started to run towards my home.
I fought with all my might to keep the air circulating in my lungs I pushed my legs to go faster and faster.
Drop
Drop dropdropdrop dropdropdropdrop
It had started to rain soon it was a full-on thunderstorm, just as the storm was getting serious I saw my cabin in the distance I pushed my door open and slammed it shut.
But I had no time to calm down I rushed and locked all the windows and the back door. I turned off all of the candles and oil lamps.
I kept one candle on I sat down on the dining room chair. Just as I took a breath of relief I heard a blood-curdling scream.

Aren't you afraid of my darkness, my dear?
Hades asked with mischief in his eyes. 'no,' Persephone replied, 'you haven't even seen mine yet.'

My head snapped Towards the disturbing sound. I slowly stood from the chair and Cautiously opened the window, I peaked from the small opening and squinted my eyes until I could get a glimpse of the figure outside.
I could see the outline of a huge human-like shape the being had a hand draping on its side while the other clutched its stomach, It dragged its large body through the storm before falling headfirst into the soil that surrounded his beastly figure.
I hurriedly shut the window and rushed through the door. I ran towards the man and Nealed next to him, I reached out to touch him but flinched back the man or creature that was before me was HUGE he was at least 7,3 feet tall, and he wore black armor. A strike of thunder reminded me that I had no time for hesitation.
I grabbed his huge (and heavy) arm and put it around my shoulder, I shakily stood up and dragged him immense body towards the cottage. As I reached the door I used my foot to push the door open. I sighed in relief
With labored breaths, I dragged our body's through the door and dropped him on the living room floor I stretched my back and I swear I head a crack.
After a few breaths, I looked down at the man that rested on my floor, I pushed my hips to the side and rested my hand on it I caulked head to the side and rubbed my chin thoughtfully.
I took my time observing him, he had on some really scary looking armor and a helmet hid his face from my view
I sighed and Grabbed his arm I dragged him to the little room on the first floor, dropped him on the bed and went back to the living room.
I walked towards the front door and locked it. I turned on my heal and went to the kitchen, I opened my herbs cabinet and got to work.
I got a big pot and put it in the stove I mixed in Turmeric is a natural antiseptic and antibiotic agent. And If the wound is bleeding, apply turmeric on the wound; the bleeding will immediately stop. Also if you drink a glass of turmeric milk every night before bedtime the wound heals completely.

Then, Aloe Vera, Aloe Vera has analgesic, anti-inflammatory and soothing properties that ease the healing process. In fact, its gel has phytochemicals that help ease pain and reduce inflammation.
After that, I add a little bit of Coconut oil. It helps ease pain and keeps infections at bay.
Last but not least I add in some Onion, the onion has an anti-microbial compound known as allicin that protects the wound from getting infected.
After mixing all those ingredients I grab a small bowl, some bandages, and a cup of water. And I head back into the room. I walk in and Hesitantly start stripping him of his armor, I can feel my face burning scarlet. After that ordeal is done he is left with black cotton pants. He had satanic jewelry all over his body
And he also had an iron snake wrath around his arm, and a lip piercing at the corner of his mouth
I gulped and started to clean his wounds I worked around the deep cuts on his chest and arms, then I cleaned the smaller ones after applying the cream I made I bandaged his wounds. During that period I took some time to appraise his body he had a six-pack and a lot of tattoos.
They looked realistic it was as if the demons in his tattoos would jump out and kill me, they covered his arms, neck, chest and back.
After I was done with that I collected my self for the night.
The next morning I was awoken by the morning birds soft songs it took me a minor to wake up as yesterdays events played in my mind I took a deep breath and started getting ready for the day, after some debate I chose to a Dark Blue skirt with a gray blouse.
After I was satisfied with my appearance I proceeded down the stairs. I was nervous to check on the stranger he had a massive body and was intimidating.
I walked down the stairs and opened the downstairs bedroom door and to my surprise, no one was there. I played with the idea that it might have been a dream but the blood on the bed sheets told another story.
Abruptly I felt breathing in the crook of my neck the hairs on my neck and arms all stood up and my breaths became uneven I clenched my jaw out of fear. I closed my eyes and in the fraction of a second, I was pushed Against the wall. I could feel as his breath fanned my face. I inhaled his surprisingly minty breath.
I closed my eyes and waited. it felt as if we were standing there of an eternity the sound of my heartbeat drummed against my ears and my rips constricted my heart from running away. I took a deep breath and collected all the The courage I had and wiped my head up and looked at him.
...
I stood there unable to breath. He was breath taking, literally! My blood seemed to stop flowing and my heart stopped beating for a few seconds I stood there shocked. How, why is there such a beautiful creature in this earth. He looked as if god had spent an extra 5 days on him.
Dear lord help me.
