I was being chased by many people , they were after my life . I keep running and running but they didn't stop chasing me , a arrow was shot in my leg i couldn't run they caught me and tied me up in a pillar they were all in black cloak chanting something I was begging them to let me go . I heard something ringing, it was my phone ringing i wake-up from the same nightmare every full moon . I'm lieu am a orphan my age is 21 currently I'm working a part time job in departmental store and doing my studies in arts major . Every full moon same dream , same painful experience as if I was cruse.

It's Sunday i have to go for my part time job . I get ready as nothing happened and forgetting my painful nightmare . I went to the bus stand and got into the bus and reach my work place . I start working with my colleague who is in her 50 s , her name is Louis

i call her aunt Louis because she insisted on that i call her aunt as she have a daughter of my age .

There was nothing new people comes buy and go , children comes with there parents to buy groceries. They seem happy , i envy the child who smile happily with his parents. It's already 4:30 my shift is over just like this my exhausted day comes to end without anything new .

I went to the bus stand and got to the bus , i fell asleep in the bus not knowing that my bus stand has already left behind. I was woken up by the bus driver; he asked me where do you want to go it's the last bus stand. I didn't say anything and thank him get off the bus , i was standing in a remote area far far it's was only dark only light was is in bus stand not knowing where should I go , whom should I ask . I just sat on the bus stand. A noise came it was a old lady with her granddaughter she ask me what I'm doing here late at night . I said ; I'm waiting for the bus to go to city , she said ; there won't be any bus coming anymore. The grandma told me to stay at her home and get the first bus in the morning for city since I have no option I agree with her.

She took me to her home and offer some warm tea and food and ask what is my name how old am i . I answer her that my name is lieu and my age is 21 , she ask my last name i smile and said I'm just an orphan i don't have any last name she said sorry . I just say it's okay you don't meant to and it doesn't bother me as well.

she offer me to take a bath and give me clothes, i accept it as I was undressing she came and tell me my bad was ready she look at me and saw a rose with thorns in my shoulder ( my birth mark ) she suddenly start chanting something. And ask me if i have nightmares .

I ask her how she know and who is she . The grandma said ; don't be afraid i know the story behind your nightmare. I was looking at her in disbelief, grandma said; I will show you something first you dress up . I dress and went to the room where her granddaughter was sitting she wave her hand and call me with the hand sign . I went and sit next to her , the grandma came with a Old photo album and a old book . she was flipping through the book then she show me ,my birth mark ( rose cover with thorns) and again she start chanting . This time I ask her why and what was she chanting , the grandma's granddaughter put fingers in her lips and shook her heads . I stay silent and the grandma show me the photos of people with the same birth mark , i ask her ; who are this people and why they have the same birth Mark like me she said ; this are the people who died miserable without knowing their potential and secret about their birth .

she said they are mages ( the witches) with great magic and with different power of five elements of nature , the earth, water, fire , air and the last is the mysterious power of all which is still unknown. People see them as threat to the society and start hunting them and start killing them has for the chant it's a protection for you and the people like you. As the time pass there are hardly any mages and they don't have any power of the five elements, they have only capability of healing and to fertile the soil . I ask her why does she knows all those things and why do I have nightmares every full moon.

The grandma said I'm one you and show me her birthmark in her arms and said i have the ability of giving life to the lifeless plant's , the power of fertility.

The nightmare that comes every full moon is related to our ancestors. Our ancestors i ask ! she said yes thousands of year ago( in 17'C ) when the mages are in their peak , fighting for the people in battlefield and healing the people who are wounded …

People where friendly untill the children of the Kingdom start disappearing , the village and folks where spreading the words that it's the work of the witches. Our ancestors try to defend them self untill a child was found in one the mages house with blood drawn .

The villagers caught the mage and call her the witch tie her in the pillar and burn her infront of many people and mages .

Later the young girls where disappearing one by one, which was more like vanishing in the thin air . Every one of the people pointed their fingers on the mages , the mages start hidding in the fear that they will be killed like just like the mage from before. Just after a week the hunt of the witches started one by one every mage was dragged and killed, Untill the supreme mage came and solve the problem of missing children and young ladies.

It was the corrupted officers who where kidnapping children to sell them to other countries and young maiden to sell them entertainment house ( brothel) for money .

A cat meow and we saw the time , it was already 1 o'clock of the night. The grandma told me too sleep as I need to go to the city tomorrow morning , the whole night i couldn't sleep with the thoughts; how is it related with the nightmares . Just like that it was already morning and I have to take the bus for city , they drop me till the bus stand and the grandma told me ; if you want to know the mystery behind the nightmare you can come here anytime we are here waiting for you.

I get in the bus and reach to the city . I went to my college for my classes, after the class i went to my regular work as a part timer . The curiousity of my nightmares and the unfinished story is still going on in my mind . My life keep going on with doubts and questions along with my regular life routine.

A whole week went by the sunday came . I clean my room took some extra clothes and some food in my work . I took off ,for half day got into the bus and went to the village where the grandma and her granddaughter stay . I reach there by 4 o'clock and went to there home knock the door the granddaughter open the door and smile at me she said ; i knew you will come , grandma is in the garden she will come after sometimes you can stay with me .

I was shock that she was speaking as she didn't speak a single word last time. Because of curiousity i ask " why she didn't speak last time " she ans ; I am not allowed to speak after 6 o'clock of the evening cz of my magic , I ask what magic she smile and didn't say anything and just said " by the way my name is Ami tar shwan " you can call me Ami . It's time she said , Then the grandma came and ask how am I . I reply to her question that I'm fine, she went to the kitchen and start cooking i ask her what happened after that and how is it related to the nightmare.

As she was cooking she again chanted something and she said where was i last time , i said the corrupted officers.

she began to tell the story , even though the it was the officers the villagers didn't say anything and it was quite for some months. The supreme mage gather some of her disciplines( her students) mages who didn't show there abilities to the world and told them to go somewhere far and never use their abilities. The supreme mage give them a lot of money and fake identity to flee from here and go somewhere far crossing the sea and only to came back after they have grandchildren. She asked them to swear only to come back after they have grandchildren and they will never use their ability to hurt the people.

she drew blood for her 10 students and form a promise ( contract) bond with her life and legacy.

Just after that she gathered all the other mages and told them to be prepared for the a great fight and to hide their children or to go away . All the mages where confused but still some mages follow her will and hide their children and flee from kingdom.

After another one month the villagers and the officers start hunting the mages in the name of for great future.
