this is my story of Superman when he was born on the fictional planet Krypton and was named Kal-El. When he was a baby, his parents sent him to Earth in a small spaceship moments before Krypton was destroyed in a natural cataclysm. His ship landed in the American countryside, near the fictional town of Smallville.
It's been nearly two years since Superman's (Henry Cavill) colossal battle with Zod (Michael Shannon) devastated the city of Metropolis. The loss of life and collateral damage left many feeling angry and helpless, including crime-fighting billionaire Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck). Convinced that Superman is now a threat to humanity, Batman embarks on a personal vendetta to end his reign on Earth, while the conniving Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) launches his own crusade against the Man of Steel. The two have a knock-down fight across Metropolis, causing massive amounts of destruction to the city before Superman finally stops Zod by snapping his neck and killing him. Zod, though, is even stronger than Superman because he has absorbed less of Earth's sun than Kal-El. Zod overpowers Superman from the first time that the two opponents face off. Superman's sheer grit is the only thing that ultimately allows him to emerge victorious.
Zod was born to become a soldier and is one goal was to protect Krypton but Superman stopped him so he wanted to die fighting, he wanted Superman to kill him and give him a honorable death. A death by combat. Zod does say to Superman: "I exist only to protect Krypton. That is the sole purpose for which I was born
Zod was a strong believer in the old barbaric ways of Kryptonian society, and believed that his people had become weak and therefore needed to be dictated. So over the years as he grew in power, he gathered loyal disciples and forces that he would use in an attempt to overthrow the Ruling Council and conquer Krypton.
General Dru-Zod is one of Superman's more prominent enemies. Once the Military Director of the Kryptonian Space Center, Zod had personally known Jor-El when he was an aspiring scientist
However, Zod's powers are often inferior to those of Superman, due to the latter being exposed to the yellow sun over the course of his entire life, while Zod typically only gets exposed for a short period of time before being defeated and returned to the Phantom Zone
“The killing of Zod gave a reason for the character never to kill again. Superman falling to the ground and screaming afterward – I don't think that was originally in the script, but I wanted to show the pain he had. He just killed the last remaining member of his species.Because Clark Kent, or rather Kal-El, Isn't a killer
Zod's and Superman's opposing personalities: Finally, perhaps the main reason why Zod hates Superman so much is their opposing value systems and philosophies. Both have similar powers — incredible strength and agility, x-ray vision and so on — but they use them in different ways on Krypton. An alien scientist named Bertron conducted a series of cruel experiments on a humanoid infant in which it is killed over and over again until it evolved into Doomsday (then known as The Ultimate Doomsday has Invulnerability probably greater than that of a normal Kryptonian; as well as Super Strength, Super Speed, and incredible leaping ability. Doomsday's unstoppable rampage. He also has numerous sharp bony protrusions, which can pierce Kryptonian skin. Doomsday possessed enormous superhuman strength that is significantly greater than Superman and at one point this enabled him to effortlessly stand his ground against the entire Justice League, including Superman and Orion
Superman took on the “resurrected” Doomsday in space. Though he could not defeat the creature, he was able to use a time travel device to leave Doomsday at the End of Time. There, Doomsday was defeated by entropy
Doomsday is powerful and fearsome, but he has one major weakness. Doomsday isn't smart. He's an unreasoning, unthinking engine of death. He just punches everything in front of him until it falls or he does.
Though both Doomsday and the Hulk have healing abilities, Doomsday heals much faster. In terms of brute strength, the Hulk has a slight edge. However, his biggest negative is he gets tired. On the other hand, Doomsday is able to fight for hours without getting tired.
Doomsday's heat vision is so powerful that it can make the invulnerable Superman bleed.
To make a long story short, Superman and Doomsday fought to the death, before the Kryptonian Regeneration Matrix zapped Superman back to life after the Eradicator stole his body and brought it to the Fortress of Solitude
