The Villainess Female Supporting Character Raising Her Bun

Chapter 1

Cheng Huan stared at her hand, stunned beyond words.

All she did was go to bed. How did she wake up a different person?!

She had also gained a lot of bizarre memories. Cheng Huan stood up and bumbled around looking for a mirror. She banged her ankle on the leg on a table. It hurt a lot, but that did not slow her down.

The room was small, maybe around 10 m2 or so. It seemed even smaller from all the stuff piling around it. Cheng Huan wasn’t in the mood to look around right now. She ran over to the door, out of the room, and straight into the bathroom for the mirror.

The mirror reflected her look. There was fear in her eyes, and her look was pretty but unfamiliar. Cheng Huan reached up and slowly touched her face, and the woman in the mirror did the same thing.

She shut her eyes tightly, but nothing changed in front of her when she reopened them.

This was not a dream

Cheng Huan took a deep breathing, leaned against the wall, and forced herself to calm down.

She closed her eyes once again and sorted out the memories in her head.

She needed to figure out what was going on.

The memories in her head were incomplete, just fragments here and there about some of the original owner’s past events.

The original owner’s name was also Cheng Huan.

She had lost her father at age seven. Her mother remarried and threw her to her maternal grandmother. Her grandmother believed that boys were better than girls and was never nice to her. She no longer received any help from them as soon as she was of age.

The original owner was a smart girl and had good grades in school. She knew that studying hard was her own ticket out and had held down all sorts of jobs after graduating high school to earn her tuition.

It wasn’t easy for an 18-year-old girl to find a decent job. Under some circumstances, she was referred to a club to be the “wine sales girl”.

A club was the place of carnal desires. The original owner had witnessed many exchanges between money and bodies. She had heard plenty of times how one could make up to one to two months’ salary in one night. The original owner could still resist the temptation at first, but over time, she had inevitably given in and thought of her body as a merchandise that could fetch a good price.

She was smart though and knew that she wouldn’t be able to fetch a good price if she was too casual, so she waited.

Finally, an opportunity presented itself in front of her. Someone was willing to pay her a 6-digit amount to “spend” a night with a drugged man.

The man was very handsome and also looked to be of a prestigious family. The original owner was quite happy about the offer. In fact, she felt that one night wasn’t even enough.

But that was the end of the relationship between the two of them. The man was drugged by others. He didn’t blame the original owner, but he wasn’t exactly fond of her either. He just paid her some money and got rid of her.

During that night, one of them was drugged and the other was a newbie so the birth control was less than desirable. The original owner found out that she was pregnant two months later.

The original owner panicked when she had first learned about it. Her very first reaction was to have an abortion. But she finally calmed down and remembered the outfit on the man that night and all the stories in TVs and movies, and she hesitated.

Maybe if she has the child, she just might be able to marry into a prestigious family one day! And even if she couldn’t marry into the family, she could at least be the lover on the side!

She didn’t think that there’s anything wrong with her line of thinking. She walked out of the hospital, quit her school, and found ways to find the man while she carried the baby to full term.

The original owner wasn’t able to find out a lot about the man. She only found out that his last name was Jiang and he was the heir of a corporation. He has a high net worth, and most importantly, he was still single!

The original owner had been dreaming about marrying into a prestigious family for months, but her passion was quelled right before she gave birth.

She heard on the news that a young model, who had given birth to the bastard child of a prestigious family and wanted to use the child as her way into the family, was murdered by the family!

As the case involved a prestigious family and murder, it had attracted a lot of attention. The original owner, who was 9-month pregnant at the time, was scared out of her mind. She had nightmares all night long that night and exhibited signs of premature birth the next day.

Chapter 2

Luckily, she had taken herself to the hospital when she was 9 months in and had a smooth birth. But she was so scared from the news that she had temporarily given up the thought of gaining wealth from her son and wouldn’t move forward with it lightly.

She was, however, still holding out to the last shred of hope and gave her son the last name of Jiang and hoped that one day he’d be able to rejoin his family, and she could also enjoy a wealthy life.

As she has an ulterior motive of having the child, she didn’t have a lot of affection towards the child. A newborn child needed help in every which way and cried all the time. In just a few months, any little fondness that the original owner had for the child was all gone.

After the original owner had once learned the benefit of trading in her body, she no longer wanted to work hard. She felt that she was so young and pretty that even if she wasn’t able to marry into one of the most prestigious families, she should at least be able to secure herself someone from the second tier.

The reality was hard after all. Without any connections, it wasn’t easy to hook up with wealthy people. And even when she ran into some of them, they were usually already in their forties or fifties, balding and having a big beer gut. Heavy cigarette stinks could be smelled when they opened their mouths, and their kids at home were probably older than her.

After her first experience with the very handsome Mr. Jiang, her bar has inadvertently been set very high. She wanted both status and money, but things like that didn’t just come along. Why would a man with status and money want to be with someone like her?

Not to mention she has a child on top of it all.

She never self-reflected but blamed everything on the child. She never had much affection toward the child, and now she hated him even more. She might not scold and beat him, but she completely neglected him and rarely even looked at him.

The original owner had just failed again to get closed to a wealthy man and was in a foul mood when she had arrived home. It was the first time she had raised her hand to the child. She felt a lot better afterwards and went to bed leaving the crying child by himself.

When she woke up, what was inside the body had been swapped.

The closer the time period, the clearer the memories. Cheng Huan saw a lot of memory fragments from the last two years. The more she had seen, the more her brows furrowed.

She couldn’t believe that’s how a mother would treat her own child – complete negligence. She didn’t care if he was hungry or thirsty, or that he was cold or hot. She wouldn’t even bother looking at him when he ran a fever; at most, she’d toss him some drugs.

Cheng Huan was furious. She wished she could find the original owner and give her a beating, but she was long gone. Not to mention that she had taken over for the original owner and now has a son of her own.

Thinking of the child, Cheng Huan sighed. Being single her entire life, she has no experience taking care of a child whatsoever. But she couldn’t just leave the kid alone, so one way or another, she would have to pick up the burden.

From her memories, the child was left in the living room. Cheng Huan opened her eyes and walked down the narrow hallway to the living room.

This building was left to her by the original owner’s paternal grandparents. It was small, about 50 m2, and looked to be quite old judging from what the inside looked like.

Cheng Huan walked over to the living room, and there was a dirty couch. A little kid was kneeling next to the couch with the upper half of his body leaning against it, his head nodding away.

Oh, that’s right. After the original owner had beaten her son, she made him kneel there to “self-reflect”.

That was the most ironic thing ever. The one who should be doing some self-reflecting told someone else to self-reflect.

Cheng Huan grinded her teeth and hated the original owner even more. She walked up quickly, squatted down, and picked up the child.

From her memory, the child should be 4 years old right now, but he looked to be much smaller than a normal 4-year-old. His face was sunken, and the clothes on him were old. It was already the end of July, but he still has on a long sleeve shirt.

The child wasn’t sleeping very soundly and was mumbling in his sleep.

Cheng Huan carried him toward his room. Seeing his mouth opening and shutting, she leaned in out of curiosity to see what he was saying.

“Mom…”

Chapter 3

Cheng Huan let out a sigh.

In her memory, this mother and son duo had never been close. The original owner had neglected the child purposefully and the kid might be young, but he had an animal instinct and never approached the original owner a lot.

But it was just the two of them after all. Even though the child was just beaten, he still looked to his mother to lean on.

Cheng Huan followed her memory and navigated to the child’s bedroom.

Even though it was referred to as a bedroom, it was more like an attic, about 5~6 m2 in size. It only has a small window that could not be opened and a small bed about 1 meter in size. There was a pile of clothes on the bed, looking somewhat dirty.

The room also has the smell of something that had gone bad. Without any ventilation, the room also seemed particularly hot and humid. Cheng Huan had just walked in there. Before she could even try to locate the source of the smell, her body started rejecting the surrounding.

Her fragments of memories weren’t exactly reliable. Cheng Huan only remembered the room being a little bit on the small side, but she realized how bad the environment really was only after she had walked inside there herself.

How could she leave a child in this place?

Cheng Huan couldn’t help but felt contempt for the original owner all over again before she walked back out of the room.

The house is small and the only room left habitable other than this room was the master bedroom. Cheng Huan placed the child on the original owner’s bed before she recalled that he has yet to have dinner and bathed.

As a four-year-old child, the kid obviously did not possess the skills to cook and bathe himself. The original owner saw this as a hassle and would only bathe him when she couldn’t no longer stand it.

Cheng Huan had no idea when was the last time the original owner bathed the child, but judging from the clothes on him, probably not recently.

No wonder she was picking up this stench.

As a girl from the South, Cheng Huan couldn’t stand going to bed before she bathed first. She bent down and rocked the child on his shoulder.

“Wake up.”

The child hasn’t been sleeping soundly and woke up from Cheng Huan’s rocking. He rubbed his eyes as he woke up and reflexively tried to back away from Cheng Huan when he saw her. His little fists clenched into balls and looked at her stubbornly without saying a word.

Cheng Huan sighed to herself again.

She leaned over and tried to talk to him as gently as possible, “You are dirty. Let’s go and bathe you.”

The little kid still did not relax.

Cheng Huan could still ignore it before she figured out what that stench was. Not that she knew what it is, the stench was getting more and more intolerable. She grabbed the child despite his fearful look and walked over to the bathroom.

The little kid was probably afraid of being hit again. Seeing that Cheng Huan had only picked him up without any other actions, he started to relax. He rested his head next to Cheng Huan’s shoulder and slowly lifted up his arms but they reached their destination before he was able to wrap them around her neck.

As if startled, he quickly lowered his arms and put them behind his back. He peeked at Cheng Huan carefully, worried that she was displeased.

Cheng Huan felt a pang of sadness. He should be at the most carefree age of his life….

Thinking about that, the expression on her was even more tender. She smiled at him and touched him on his nose as she said to him, “Open wide, let’s take your clothes off.”

Jiang XingChen felt that the mother in front of him was a little different than she used to be. She had never smiled at him before during bath time; nor had she talked to him. She never even wanted to look at him directly.

But he liked it when his mother smiled; mommy was so pretty when she smiled.
