"Shinichi!" Ran shouted to a boy who's been walking around aimlessly. Looking lost but at the same time not.

Using his mind, but seems like not.

As he faced the girl who called him. He was shocked. He didn't know what to say. He didn't know how to respond.

He was brought back to the world when he was touched by Ran.

"Hey, why are you not talking? I thought I told you to answer me huh!?" With her sermon, he finally got the courage to talk.

"Excuse me miss, but... Who are you?" he asked confused to the girl whose hands were in his shoulder.

"Hey, that's not a good joke Shinichi. Don't be like that to me" She questioned him worriedly. But to her demise, she was given a horrible confirmation.

"Miss, it seems like you know my name but—I don't really know you." He was about to continue when he noticed a stare.

"Shini-" she was about to call him, but he suddenly ran immediately and quickly disappeared with the crowd, looking pale and worried as if he's greatest horror had found him.

As he stepped into a dark alleyway. He was greeted with two shadows. Both of a man, but one is taller, and the other is shorter. He was horrified when he remembered their face.

"Brother, see I told you he was just hiding from us." the shorter one told the taller one.

"Vodka, you need to shut up" as he was telling his supposedly brother, he noticed the pale thin man unable to walk away from the alley.

"I wondered how you managed to hide from us. It's been a long time, since you consumed the drug. You'll be coming with us." as the taller man told Shinichi. He noticed a change with the man. Paler and paler with time, and sweating profusely.

"Hmm, let's wait for a while shall we" Gin said amused with what's happening. And when Shinichi heard it, before both of them got near to him, he ran, he ran aimlessly trying to escape the brothers. He was scared, he was feeling hopeless because in a few minutes he will turn back to being a child. And he didn't want to reveal that to the organization because they might find Haibara, and endanger all those people whom he started to like.

He ran, and was quickly snatched to a more dark alleyway by a person whom he had been with, Akai in his disguise as Subaru. After a few minutes he was transformed as a child again, as Edogawa Conan. They left that alleyway after he got dressed looking like a child again.

When they noticed the Porsche driving slowly like finding something or someone. More precisely finding Shinichi, who had turned to Conan. He was acting like a child to Subaru and from a far would look like a father and son, except not.

They were worried at first because both of them had problems with the organization the brothers are in.
