It was a normal morning in Beijing, the bustling city was alive with the sound of people hurrying to work or school but suddenly the atmosphere changed when news started spreading that an object was expected to strike the city. the rumors were spreading like wildfire, and everyone was talking about it.
As a high school student named Shi Xu. I was in class when the news broke, we looked out the window, but everything seemed normal. however, my heart was racing with fear and anxiety. the thought of a massive object hurtling towards Earth was too much to bear.
Suddenly we saw a bright light in the sky. it was like a burning stone. it was getting closer and closer. Panic set in as we watched it moved towards us. we all ran for cover, hiding under our desks, hoping that it would pass us by.
But then loud blast that shook the entire building. we all screamed and cried as we waited for the dust of settle. when we finally look outside, the sky was clear, but there was smoke rising from nearby forest.
The school authorities quickly announced that all students were to be sent home, and we rushed out of the building, eager to find out what had happened. the streets were crowded with people, and everyone was talking about the explosion. some said that it was missile attack sent by another country. while others believed that a large asteroid had hit the Earth.
I was worried about my family and i rushed home to make sure they were okay. As i walked through the deserted streets, I couldn't help but feel like the world had changed. The once busy and vibrant city was now filled with fear and uncertainty.
I finally reached home, I was relieved to find my mom safe and sound. we spent the rest of the day glued to the news, watching as reports came in about the explosion. it was confirmed that a large object had crashed into the nearby forest, causing the blast.
In my family i have only my mom she runs cafe. my mom was glued to the Tv, her face etched with worry. the news was showing the footage of the blast.
Mom, I said, trying to get her attention. " Can you please stop watching the news for a minute and make some food for me I am hungry". she cooked noodles for myself.
After finishing my noodles, I went to my room, feeling a sense of heaviness in my heart. As i lay down, I tried to calm my mind and focus on a present moment. I listened to the sound of Nigh. the distant hum of traffic and rustling of leaves in the wind. My mom knocks the door and gives me some fruit. After my mom left, i sat by a window with heavy heart. I gazed out of the window at the dark forest. I longed for someone who would understand me and my dreams. the event of the day had left me feeling scared and alone. I need someone who would listen to my fears and offer me comfort. I wished a fairytale Prince to come.
As I sat there lost in my thoughts, I notice the fruits my mom had given me earlier. It was a simple gesture, but it made me feel loved and cared for. I placed the fruit on the windowsill, where the moonlight illuminated it like a precious jewel, and I go for sleep.
Shi Xu placed sone fruits on her Windowsill before going to sleep. During the night, I noticed a light around the windowsill, but dismissed it as a dream and went back to sleep. when I woke up, I found out that the fruit bucket was empty, and the fruit had disappeared. thinking that my mother had taken the fruit, I went about my morning routine, took a bath, brushed teeth, and went for breakfast.
my mom asked about my plans for the day, and i replied that i had the day off from high school and planned to relax. After finishing breakfast, i picked my bag and left the house, telling my mom that i would come back soon. As i was walking down the road, i noticed someone in white clothes in the nearby jungle. the person appeared to be injured, with black smoke spots on his face and blood coming from his head
i approached the boy cautiously and asked he was okay. The boy look frightened and defensive, as if he was expecting to be attacked then i realized that he had stolen my fruits .. i asked are you hungry and how you became injured
i reassured him that i wouldn't hurt him. he stood up and scanned me using a strange electronic watch. After reading something on watch , he introduced himself as Gullivar and explained he had been in an accident that had caused his injuries. As Gullivar told me about his accident, i became worried about his injuries. I offered to take him to the hospital but he refused to go. i realized that there was no way to properly treat his injuries without medical attention. i suggested that he come with me to at my home so that i could at least clean his wounds and give him some food .
he seemed hesitant and scared at first, but eventually agreed to go with me. he couldn't walk properly, i hold him for help then i noticed how strange Gullivar look. he had dark blue eyes and a handsome face, with grey hair that made him look like an angel. i wondered about that he lived in our city..
when we arrived at home, he looked my house strangely.
sorry we are not rich, we live in simple house, Me and my mom only live here.. i said
he just move his head...he look such an cold heart guy..
I cleaned his wounds and bandaged them up as best as i could. i also gave him some food to eat, i noticed that he ate like he had been hungry for many years, as if this was the first time he had eaten a long time, than i decided to make some noodles for him, hoping to provide him with more food
however, as they were eating, my mom suddenly arrived home and startled him. he became scared and ran behind the sofa, hiding from my mother, i quickly explained the situation to my mother...
next episode will be come soon
As my mom first laid eyes on Gullivar, she stared at him intently and asked him who he was. Gullivar, with a searching look on his face, hesitated for a moment before telling us that he lived in the forest and had no family. He had become injured and was hungry when I found him in the woods.
My mom wasted no time in cooking up a warm meal for him and calling us all to the table. As Gullivar sat down and dug into his meal, I could see the relief wash over him. He had been wandering in the forest for an unknown amount of time, and he was clearly grateful for the food and shelter we were providing him.
After finishing his meal, Gullivar looked up at us with gratitude in his eyes and softly thanked us for our kindness. My mom simply smiled and told him not to worry about it, that we were happy to help.
I could sense that Gullivar was still a bit nervous, so I decided to try and make him feel more at ease. "So, Gullivar," I asked, "what were you doing in the forest? Were you on some kind of adventure?"
Gullivar looked down at his hands and hesitated for a moment before answering. "Not exactly," he said. "I was running away from some bad people."
My mom and I exchanged a worried glance. "What kind of bad people?" I asked.
Gullivar shrugged. "I don't really know," he said. "All I know is that they were after me, and I had to get away."
I could tell that Gullivar didn't want to talk about it anymore, so I changed the subject. "Well, you don't have to worry about them now," I said. "You're safe here with us."
My mom nodded in agreement and told him that he was now a part of our family. She led him to the spare room, showing him where he could put his things and make himself comfortable.
As my mom left the room, she turned to me and said, "You should go get your books and start studying with him. He needs to be prepared for his school entry test."
I groaned inwardly at the thought of more studying, but I knew my mom was right. I went to my room and grabbed my books, then returned to the table where Gullivar was waiting.
We spent the rest of the evening studying together, with my mom occasionally coming in to check on us and offer encouragement. Gullivar was a quick learner, and I could tell that he was going to do well on his test.
As it grew late and we finished our studying for the night, my mom came in with a plate of cookies and a smile on her face. "Good work, you two," she said. "You're both going to do great on your tests."
Gullivar looked up at her with a grateful smile. "Thank you, " he said. "I really appreciate all that you and your family have done for me."
My mom patted him on the back. "Don't mention it, dear," she said. "We're just happy to have you here with us."
And with that, we all settled in for the night. Gullivar had his own room, and my mom and I retired to ours. As I drifted off to sleep, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the unexpected addition to our family. Gullivar might have been a stranger when he arrived, but now he was one of us, and we were all in it together.
