Someone's voice echoes throughout a mysterious warehouse

"I know you're here" says Ren

"Please spare me" unknown man starts to beg Ren.

But paying no attention to the pathetic man he takes out a gun and starts loading.

The unknown starts to plead even more "Please I have a fami-"

Before he could finish Ren pulls the trigger killing the unknown man on the spot.

Suddenly Ren's phone rings it is an unknown number.

"Hey boss the job is finished" says Ren .

"Good job" says a mysterious voice .

The mysterious voice continues to say "Damien is back in town you know . You should visit him . He asks about you all the time , you know he still cares you right "

Silence fills the empty warehouse...

" We're already broken up . There is nothing else to say " said Ren and hung up the phone.

Ren*sighs*

" Why do they always keep interfering " he mumbles to himself.

Just as he got out the warehouse it started to rain. Ren got inside his car and started driving . He didn't know where he was going. He just kept driving without a destination in mind.

Suddenly a branch landed right in front of Ren's car . Ren barely missed it .

"What now" said Ren looking upon the huge of branch of tree which fell due to the heavy rain .

Ren got out of his car and parked it near the roadway. "I probably should look for a place to get shelter from this rain" said Ren.

After looking for a while he found a rundown store and decided to stay there till the rain calms down.

Just as he entered the store his eyes met the gaze of a stranger . Ren thought to himself "How beautiful !!" .

This stranger had light brown hair which Ren wished he could embrace and beautiful hazel eyes which shined brightly even in this stormy day.

Without giving much thought Ren sat next to this stranger as there was no one else in the rundown store other than this stranger and the shop keeper.

Ren couldn't stop looking at man . It seemed like he was jotting down something in his notebook .

Soon enough the shopkeeper came near Ren and asked if would like a drink , " I'll take a black coffee" said Ren .

"What's your name" a beautiful and soft voice asked Ren. " It's Ren and what about you , what's your name" replied Ren. "My name is Fumihito Kim " said the stranger .

" Are you from Japan , you don't look japaneese " asked Ren to Fumihito .

" I'm half japaneese " replied Fumihito .

"What a coincidence me too , look like we might get along " said Ren.

Fumihito flashed a sweet but short smile to Ren.

"Call me kim " said Fumihito to Ren. "Alright Kim" Ren replied.

Ren's heart was beating so hard but he didn't know why . Perhaps Kim's short smile caused Ren's heart beat faster . But why wondered Ren. Ren's hasn't felt this way in a long time .

Actually he hasn't even felt any emotions after Ren's breakup with his ex boyfriend . After that incident he had promised himself that he wouldn't fall in love ever again . But looking at Kim , Ren couldn't help but admire.

[ This chapter was the basic premise of the story but from next we are going to get more romance and backstory of the characters , so please stick around to enjoy the rest of the story 😉 ]

Ren could not stop staring at Kim's face .

Suddenly the shop keeper came to ask if they would like to book a room at the inn . Apparently this rundown was also a place you could stay . Seeing that the rain was not going stop aby time Kim decided to book a room . Hearing that Kim was going to stay here immediately booked a room too . Even if it only meant seeing Kim's face for few more hours . " It's not like I have anything much to do right now anyway " said Ren as he already finished his job.

He went to his but the only thing he could think about was Kim . He thought about how it would feel to embrace him or touch him .

Suddenly Ren slapped his own face " What am I thinking about " Ren said to himself. "What kind of thought am I having about the I have just met " Ren mumbled to himself as he was blushing . " I'm just going to sleep " said Ren and then layed on his bed.

Few hours later...

Ren got up from his bed as he was not able to go to sleep . Perhaps it was because of the new cute stranger or the nightmares he had been having for countless nights now . Ren could never fall asleep more than a couple of hours and whenever he did he would have nightmares about the people whose lives has been ruined because of him , because of his job. He didn't want to continue this relentless job but if not for this he had no idea what he would be doing .

In a way Ren was being selfish .

Ren got out of the bed thinking that maybe a cup of water will cool him down. He walked down the stares . He couldn't see anything as there was only a few lights lighted up . He couldn't even see the steps of the stares as walked downstairs ." Oh god " Ren shouted as he missed a step . " Whew " said Ren .

" That was close " suddenly someone asked Ren . It was Kim . Seeing Kim , Ren's face suddenly became red . " Yea " said Ren with a flustered face . " Are you okay , you feet is bleeding " said Kim . " It's not a big deal " said Ren , he didn't even realise his feet was bleeding as he was too caught up in the moment .

" How can you say that , even if it's just a small cut you have to properly take care of it other wise you will get an infection " said Kim . " I think there is first aid in my room " . Suddenly Kim was dragging Ren and Ren was now sitting in his room while Kim was helping him with his cut .

" Wow how come you're this good at bandaging people , were you a doctor or something " asked Ren . " No my mom was a nurse , she really loved helping people , she was my role model " said Kim with a flattering smile .

" You're mother was a nurse huh , no wonder you're good at bandaging " Ren said . " Yea , I always used to watch her work when I was little " replied Kim . " What does she do now " asked Ren . Ren suddenly found Kim hesitating to answer . He had a few guesses on what might Kim was going to say .

" Umm she's dead " replied Kim to Ren with a sorrow expression . I shouldn't have asked him that Ren thought to himself . " Sorry " said Ren to Kim with a regretful expression . Ren continued " I didn't want to bring up a sad topic and now I ruined the mood sorry ".

" Pfftt " suddenly Kim chuckled a bit . " Hey why are you suddenly laughing about " Ren asked with a confused face . " No it's just you looked really cute when you didn't know what to say " said Kim . Hearing Kim suddenly say this turned Ren face completely red like a tomato also confused as to why he would say something like this so suddenly . " You don't have to worry about the topic with my mom , it happened years ago and I'm fine now even though it makes me a bit sad every time I think about it " said Kim .

Ren was relieved to know that Kim was feeling fine but he also couldn't forget the fact that he just called him cute . Nobody has ever called him cute every body always thought of him as scary or intidimating this was the first time some one has called him cute . So this really baffled Ren . But at the same time Ren was also happy and flustered about it .

Kim finished bandaging Ren up . " I should go now , have a good night " said Kim .

" No , wait !! " suddenly Ren shouted . " Do you need something " asked Kim with a confused expression . " Umm " Ren didn't know what to say . He just wanted to spent more time with him . But he didn't know what excuse to make up , even if did make up some excuse will Kim would believe it . " I just thought we should chat a bit more you know , I enjoyed talking with you ad it has been so long since I had a really good conversation " Ren continues to say . " If you don't want it it's fine too , I just thought it would nice to spent some more time with eachother " said Ren with his whole face red .

Ren thought to himself as for the reason why he said this . He thought he was just embarrassing himself in front of this stranger who he just met today and to his newly found crush .

" Sure " said Kim . " I would actually like that very much as I also enjoyed talking with you too " said Kim with a flattering smile on his face . Ren was relieved to hear those words . If Kim had said no he wasn't sure what he would do .

Kim decided sit on the bed and asked him " So what we talk about ? "
