It was sunny day at the 22nd day of May, 2020.

Charlotte's flight was at 2:00 in the afternoon. She was packing up all her things to move out in Shi City. She was really excited to start a fresh life in the city where she will move. She decided to settle down in Dong City when her friend, Suzziana, offer her a better job opportunity. Also, Dong City is a rich city. The salary is much better than her salary in Shi City. It's pretty good for her daily living.

She used to live alone.

Well, honestly, she learned to live by her own.

Her parents were divorced when she was sixteen (16). And now, they've got another family. They used to support her financially, but suddenly, it stopped when she turned eighteen (18).

She took Culinary Arts in Shi College University, a private school. She is smart and even got a scholarship in college. She was studying at daytime and working for four (4) hours at night time. She managed her time to finish college in her own! It was a hard time for her, balancing her studies, work, and personal life.

"Hi! Please show your plane ticket" the beautiful young cabin crew said in a humble manner. "Yes, sure!" She replied delightfully. The cabin crew lead her the way to her seat "So you are in 12A. Wait, okay, here is it, it's a good spot, you're near the window" said the cabin crew. "Yes, thank you so much" She replied in satisfaction. Her other things were baggage, she put her hand carry bags in the cabinet and sat comfortably on the airline seat.

"Hi, everyone! Welcome to Shi Airlines! You are in flight AF884. I am Capt. Jones Smith, reminding you all to fasten your seat belts, we are going to take-off in a moment. Thank you!" the pilot said before the plane takes off. All the passengers follow the captain's order.

A few minutes later, the plane took-off.

The plane landed at 4:00 in the afternoon, it was raining in Dong City. She quickly turned on her phone and immediately called Suzziana. It took two (2) hours to reach Dong City. "Suzzy! The plane just landed off!" She said. "Yah! I just heard a plane landed off just now. I came just in time. I am waiting for you outside. See you!" Suzzy answered in excitement.

"Suzzy!" She yelled.

"My gosh, Charlotte! Your face didn't change at all! You're still ugly!" said the silly Suzzy. "Hey, you! You are uglier than me!" She hugged her tightly. "Okay, okay, okay! I can't breath. Release me now. I know you miss me, hahaha!" Suzzy laughed. "Oh, sorry! I just missed you so much,. my dear!" She replied. "Fine! Let's go to my apartment. For now, I will just let you stay there temporarily until you will have your stable job. Then, only you can find your own place" Suzzy giggled.

Charlotte and Suzzy grabbed a taxi and went to Suzzy's apartment. It was located nearby the place where Suzzy work. Commuting wasn't a problem.

"Your work is just a walking distance! Oh, and your place is nice. It's really girly in here!" Charlotte complimented. "Let me help you carry your things to your room. It's not small, it's not big isn't it? It's just right for me" she replied. "I have another room here, so you can stay here for awhile. Feel at home and don't be shy" Suzzy offered. "Thank you!" She responded. "Well, I think I have to say this to you, my boyfriend is staying here, sometimes, he ahm.. having a night here, so..." she said. "Ah! Of course I won't disturb you" she winked. "Of course, you won't!" Suzzy jokingly said. "I think you should rest a bit. I am going to buy us dinner" Suzzy added. "Yes, sure. Take care!" she chuckled. Suzzy went off the apartment. After sometime, Charlotte started to arrange her things in the room, making it more organized.

Two (2) hours later.....

Suzzy was done buying groceries and their ready-to-eat dinner so she called Charlotte to eat with her. She knocked, "Hey? Are you awake? Wanna have dinner with me?" she asked. "Yah! I'll come out. Thank you, Suzzy!" she answered.

Then Charlotte came out of the room. She was still feeling exhausted after sleeping for two (2) hour and she was really hungry. "Hmmmmm! This is really good and tasty and much better than in Shi City! Oh!!! This place is nice!" she said after chewing the food. "That's Bibimbap. Here in Dong City, there are different kinds of delicious foods you should try!" She replied. "I think I'll get fat here" she giggled. "Hahahahaha! Get ready for that! By the way, your cooking skill is much better than these!" Suzzy chuckled.

The next day...

Charlotte got herself ready for the final interview. She got her initial interview via phone call only. She put a pressed powder, maskara, a red lipstick on here lips, and of course, she made sure that her eyebrows were perfect! She didn't put q blush on her cheeks since her it was naturally rosy. She was wearing a Professional / Business Interview Attire. She wore her 4 inches black high heels she bought as a gift to herself. She looks really pretty and formal! Charlotte was feeling nervous for her interview.

"Are you ready? I am going to send you to the company for your interview" Suzzy yelled. "Yes! I am coming" she replied calmly. "Oh my gosh, Charlotte!" Suzzy was amazed. "What?" She asked. "You look amazing! This is a sure ball! You can get the job!" she replied. "Are you kidding me? Don't make me pretty anxious" She uttered in nervousness. "Don't be nervous! Just be yourself! I believe in you. You are smart!" she said in encouragement. "Come on, I'll send you now." Suzzy added.

The two (2) went off the apartment and drove straightway to the company where Suzzy works.

They have arrived at the company where Suzziana works. "El Imperio Greign" is the biggest company in Dong City! She didn't expect that she'll going to work in that big company. "Oh My! This is cool!" she said.

"Gush? Why the hell didn't you tell me that it's really this big? Am I really going to work here? It's really big. Maybe, the standards here are high. I am afraid that they won't hire me." Charlotte was surprised, still nervous but maintained her aura. "I thought you did research about the company I am working for? Hahahha! You can do it! Cheer up, girl! Let's get inside!" Suzzy grabbed her arms tightly and made sure Charlotte won't going back. "So this is it! Good Luck! See you later my dear!" Suzzy winked.

Charlotte came inside the Human Resource Department. "Yes? How may I help you Ms.?" an HR staff approached her. "I am Charlotte Follér. I came to see Ms. Glenda Heinz. I am here for the final interview." she answered. Her palms sweats a lot due to nervousness. "Please, follow me, Ms. Follér." the staff replied. She immediately followed the young female staff. She waited for twenty (20) minutes. Then, finally, the staff called her saying "Ms. Follér, Ms. Heinz is waiting for you.". Charlotte to then entered the meeting room. Ms. Heinz was sitting on the office chair waiting for the interviewee.

"Hi! Ms. Heinz!" she greeted with a smile on her face.

"Have a seat, please" she offered.

"So you are Charlotte Follér from Shi City right? The one that Suzzy recommended?" Ms. Heinz said.

"Yes! I am" She replied. "I heard you are good at pastries, cooking too? You can bake or make desserts? Sweets?" She asked. "Yes, Ma'am" she answered.

"Since we are done on your initial interview, I just wanted you to know what work is waiting for you here. You'll gonna be the assistant of Chef Arman Ambrose, our company chef. Well, he needs an assistant like you who is professional. You'll assist him in preparing lunch for our CEO, best foods for meetings, and so on. We have fired his previous assistant. Why? This is because she offended our CEO so be careful with your moves when you serve the foods. Do you get it?" Ms. Heinz carefully explained.

"Yes" she nodded. "If you want to know your benefits in working here, you have the benefits you deserve. You.. I mean your insurance, rewards, bonuses, and others. So, perform well. Okay?" She quickly shortened the interview. "Don't disappoint me, okay?" Ms. Heinz said.

"Yes, I will do all my best!" she replied in excitement. "Congratulations! You are hired. You can start tomorrow. Welcome to our company!" she congratulated Charlotte. "Thank you so much!" Charlotte reached out her hands and shook hands with Ms. Heinz. "I have to go, Ms. Follér. I have a meeting to attend. Please see Benny to instruct you for tomorrow's. See you around" she has an incoming meeting with the heads of the other departments so she ended it quickly.
