CHAPTER 1: A DAY OUT WITH MY DARLING........

Characters:

'I' is ROBERT - A man, who killed his ex-wife,Kate, due to a wrong knowledge that his wife had ditched him and now, after remarriage, he was living with his new wife,Linda, in Rochester, NY . They had gone for a tour to Vancouver .Robert had been jailed after the murder , for three years, but after being released,three years later, he met a girl and both fell in love and later got married.

LINDA- Robert's current wife

KATE- Robert's ex-wife

It was a tiring journey, to Rochester, from Vancouver. I had been to Vancouver with my wife, for honeymoon. We had a stay of 2-3 weeks there and today, we're back.

I sat on the sofa and called out," Linda, can I have some fresh fruit juice?" "Yes honey," she responded,"just a minute or so." Few minutes later, there was Linda, with a tray of two glasses of juice. We had juice and I appreciated her with each sip as the juice was so delicious!

Later we freshened up and went to our room to have rest...

CHAPTER 2: WHO'S IT!?

Recap-. Robert and Linda were asleep.

But Robert couldn't sleep well. So he woke up to have a glass of water.

"Don't know why this tired person can't even sleep! Lemme have a glass of water...if it kinda helps... "

As I woke up and sat up straight, I turned to my side shelf and saw there was no glass or bottle of water but I very well remember I had kept it there.

Suddenly, I heard footsteps. At first I didn't get much scared or. shocked as this wasn't the first time I was hearing footsteps. Everyday, mysterious footsteps like sound is heard and later they stop. I got down the bed and started heading towards the kitchen to fetch a glass of water. I still hadn't realised that Linda wasn't there with me in the room.

Suddenly,. I stopped after something....or probably someone.... standing near the doorstep, caught my eyes....

I couldn't believe what i I saw!

Did I really see that or that was just my hallucination!? .......

I was so dumbfounded after seeing her that I didn't notice that it had started to move...it was coming towards me..!

I ... I wanted to call Linda...

As u turned back to face her, to my surprise, Linda wasn't there!

Linda wasn't there with me in the room!

Where'd she go?

How did she vanish?

I was all puzzled up!!!

I was still facing the bed...lost in my puzzled thoughts...when suddenly...

I felt a hand on my shoulder...A chill ran down my spine...

As I turned back, I couldn't believe whom I saw..........

As I turned around to see who is it was, to my astonishment, it ......it ....it ......it was...Kate!!!

Kate! how can she be here!

She ... she's dead!

The girl stood there without speaking a word and suddenly, she vanished into the air.

I really couldn't believe what I saw! Who I saw!

But now, my concern was Linda .

Where'd she go all of a sudden!?

She was there with me, right beside me,on the bed. But as I woke up, she wasn't there!

instead, there was Kate!

It was so queer and mysterious!......

I was, at present, very worried about Linda.

Where did she go?

But wait .....

Why was I getting so worried about her?

She might be somewhere in the house...

no...she is somewhere in the house.

Where else would she be?

I started calling out loudly," Linda! Linda! Where are you? Please don't worry me anymore .. Please respond dear. Where're

you!??"

But there was no response...

I searched the whole house...no sign of Linda anywhere .

How'd I trace her?She didn't leave anything or any clue behind about where she's.

I was more puzzled up by now .

First I'm seeing Kate!

Then she's vanished!

Then Linda's not to be seen anywhere!

Linda's lost!

What's all this happening with me!

Right from the day , I and Linda. got married, these strange queers started happening with us. But such thing never happened that anyone of us got lost!-

Without anyone's knowledge, a person's got lost! No one knows where she's.

I asked all possible people who could help me with finding Linda but there was nothing anyone could do about it!

Hey wait!

Is there a connection between Linda's suddenly getting lost and Kate suddenly appearing in front of me, today!?

If so, Is there Kate's HOVERING SOUL behind Linda's getting lost!

Oh no!.If this is the truth, does that mean I've lost Linda forever too!!!????

So many questions, no answer to a single one!
