*The recurring dream, so beautiful. lights fluttering and flying all around, beautiful smiles and a scent which is unknown but but soothes my nerves. What is this place. It is as if it is real, so real. Why am I seeing this again and again, as if it is calling me......

I am Atra I live with my grandmother. I have never seen my parents my grammy and I was saved from a house fire when I was so little an that's when I lost my parents......

Since then my grammy is my everything*.

(Morning, birds chirping)

Grammy : Atra aren't you late for school?

Atra: I am ready grammy just a sec.... I have got a test today grammy I slept late and woke up late....

Grammy : Don't work so hard kid. It is not good to sleep so late and never skip your breakfast.

Atra : Have I ever skipped a breakfast made by you grammy? It is delicious grammy thankyou. I love you grammy.

( Atra kisses grammy on her cheeks)

Grammy : Oh my precious child, I love you too. I am so glad I have you with me.

(Atra rushes out the door running to catch her bus. she barely got on the bus and dropped off at her stop)

Bully 1 : Isn't that girl from our class?

Bully 2 : Yes she is ;) Isn't she an eye candy.

Bully 1: I have always kept an eye on her,let's have some fun ;)

Bully 2 : haha I would love that.

Bully 2 : Hey you come here weird girl.

( Atra was scared of the bullies but she hesitantly approached them. she was prepared for the worse.)

Bully 2 : what is your name?

Atra : I am Atra.

Bully 1 : The weird girl also has a weird name.

( they laughed )

Bully 1 : she is not bad is she... your are really pretty for a weirdo. Those lips are more than perfect....kiss me.

Atra : What no.

Bully 2 : just do what he says or else we know how to make you do it. so just behave.

( Atra tried running away but they held her and she struggled for help)

Bully 1 : Haha how could you even think you could run away like that. Do you even know who I am ?

Bully 2 : and even if you run you are going to end up in our class, where will you go then?

Atra : let me go......leave me alone......

Bully 1 : Cut it out girl just do as I say. I can make you feel less shy. It's just a kiss now and if I really like you you can even be my bi**h. Haha.

Bully 2 : accept the offer girl there is nobody as popular as us here. All the other girls are begging for our attention.... See this as your golden opportunity.....

( *suddenly a streak of light flashed through shocking the guys and partially blinding them. Atra was let loose. she ran away scared and relieved......)

I know that scent that light smelled like my dream*..........

(wind was slowly brushing through ther hair, making her beautiful locks sway in grace. the still red sky was ready to talk to her but was too shy.)

what was it? the light was so powerful if felt blind but within a second ...... and the comforting scent of my dreams. what does it all mean?

Going home through the same path is making me scared I hope something like this never happens again or to anyone. How long can I get away from those people? I was lucky this one time. I don't know how lucky I will be always.

(sight of her home made her walk faster, so that she could once again feel the comfort and security which she longed. she ran in to the door straight to her room leaving a clueless grammy all confused)

grammy : Is everything all right my child? are you sick ? Do you need anything?

Atra : no grammy I don't need anything. I have a headache, I will lay down for some time.

grammy : call me if you need anything child.

atra : ofcourse grammy. I love you.

( Atra laid down in her bed looking at her ceiling. suddenly she felt her whole room was lit up with a bright light. She was shook. She sprung up to see a boy with golden hair and shining wings infront of her. The scared atra tried to scream but she couldn't utter a word.)

strange boy: My princess.

( atra was confused and scared she stared to his eyes.)

Strange boy : don't be scared princess I am here to protect you. I have been ordered to protect you as it is soon time.

( atra pinched herself to wake up only to realise this wasn't a dream)

atra : who are you? why do you smell like my dream? why are you calling me your princes?

strange boy : I think your grandmother never mentioned anything to you. It is okay now because I am here you do not have to worry anymore. My name is Ner. My sole purpose of birth is your protection and assistance. you are the princes of Carobana.

Atra : what are you talking about? Carobana? A princess.

Ner : I am telling you the truth. Your mother princess Ara was killed and your father king Org kept you away from our realm for your protection.

Atra : what my father is alive? and grammy?

grammy : atra my child come lets have dinner. are you okay. I have made your favourite food.come down love.

Atra : yes grammy in a minute. Ner I have a lot of questions to ask you can you wait for me for a while?

Ner : I will go nowhere princess. I am here to serve you and protect you.

Atra : and please call me atra. I will be right back.

Ner : If you say so princess.

(atra went doun stairs to grammy to have dinner. the atmosphere seemed silent than ever. but her mind had questions vigorously churning.)

Atra : grammy how did my parents die?

( grammy gave a very surprised look)

grammy : I have told you about the fire my child. why?

Atra : grammy what were they like?

Atra : grammy what were they like? what kind of people were they?

Grammy : they were good people my child. That's all you need to know.

Atra : I haven't asked about them till now. But grammy I want to know about them. I want to know what I am.

Grammy : you are my granchild that's all what matters and always remember I love you.

( Grammy stopped eating her dinner and went towards the kitchen as if she was trying to run away from her questions.)

Atra : Is there anything that you are not telling me?

Grammy : Finish your dinner and go to sleep. We will talk tomorrow.

*why is grammy behaving in a strange way? Is everything Ner told me true am I from another realm? What is happening?......

(atra finished her dinner and went to her room to look for Ner. But she found no one but her usual bedroom.)

where did he go? Was this all a hallucination?

( she laid down in her bed and slowly drifted off to sleep)

(Next day morning. Atra wakeup to a new day trying to get past of yesterday she got ready to go to school)

Atra: can we talk grammy.

( grammy pretended to not hear her question and started preparing her breakfast)

Atra : I am leaving grammy. I am getting late*.

Grammy : You haven't had your........

( atra rushes out of the school refusing to face grammy. her grandmother was shattered by her behaviour but she couldn't answer her questions until she is ready.)

grammy is hiding something from me. why? I will have to ask her again. I won't give up.

( somebody tapped on her shoulder. atra was startled and she turned around to see who it was. she was surprised to see Ner wearing her the same uniform.)

Ner : Good morning princess.

Atra : you look different .why are you here? are you going to my school?

Ner : I told you I will never leave you and will be there for you.

( *Atra looked in to his eyes which was a mesmerizing mix of grey green and blue. His eyes were shining as if it was piercing right through her)

Ner* : princess why are you red? Are you sick?

Atra : no I'm not red and I'm not sick.

( Atra looked down and walked faster)

Ner : princess don't walk too fast. You may trip and fell. You should not get hurt. King won't like it.

Atra : Call me Atra and stop calling me Princess. are you serious that you are going to go to my school? why are you not shining today? where are your wings and your weapon?

Ner : that's a lot of questions in a breath.

Atra : yes because all this is new and confusing to me. tell me.

Ner : I will tell you later, now let's go to school I am really excited. I want to make a lot of friends.

Atra : tell me now Nee.

( *Ner playfully kept refusing to tell atra. and atra started insisting that he answers her. they together went inside the campus gates.)
