Chapter -1

Swam was wearing a gown with blue beads and the high heels which made her more beautiful. She just started walking in the doorway. Everyone was looking at her. It's just that they didn't saw someone so pretty and gorgeous in their life. Everything was so wonderful for her, suddenly a charming guy came towards her. She was stunned as he was the one whom she had a crush from past four years but Every time he saw her he was just frustrated. His name was Thomas. He does not like her clumsy behavior. But today something miserable happened. He was coming to approach her. She was not believing her own eyes, also she didn't want to behave like herself only for that special day. He was not that far from her. The moment he came towards her raised her heartbeats, and after a while he was just two steps away from her. His hands were about to touch her, and she just doesn't want this moment to fade away. She was about to hold his hand and suddenly.... Alarm ranged, all her moments again became a dream. It was the 4th or 5th time that she was watching this dream and when she looked towards the alarm, it was already 8:00am. She was late for the school. This time she knew that Mr FIM will punish her. Mr FIM was her p.ed teacher who does not like her. Because she was so weak in studies. He always wanted silly chances to punish her. Like not wearing proper uniform, coming late to the class, not being active during the games period, etc. His nature was similar to Thomas, the guy she liked. Ahh, … then she realized that she was late for school. Then she heard the sound from doorway and her mom came, her mother was so angry to her because of her stupidities. She told her" swam ! What a clumsy girl you are, grow up ! It's not that late yet for you to understand, you are someone who should focus on your studies, but look at the way you are". She was so frustrated from her life as no one likes or loves her. It was just that she was slow or little witted, but she knew that she will change herself. When she reached outside her classroom, she saw that Mr FIM standing at the door. He suddenly stopped her and said "girl you are again late for class. It's time for me to teach you a lesson". He asked her to give him, her smartphone and was about to give her punishment. Thomas came from the class and asked Mr FIM, "sir, I saw some boys fighting in the ground". He asked MR FIM to hurry. Mr FIM trusts him so much that he forget to give her punishment and went to ground. She thought that something has happened so to check this she followed Mr FIM. When Thomas told her" you don't need to go and don't be late from now on". She was shocked as she never saw Thomas talking to her like this. She was so happy to see him. His green eyes and sharp voice made her day. She was about to talk to him, but he turned his back. She wanted to thank him because he helped her escape from MR FIM. But his arrogant way made her unhappy. She always wants to talk to him, but he always ignores her. She doesn't know why he behaves like this to her. Furthermore, she was in deep thought then Suddenly her friend renney came to her way and surprised her. Whenever her mother told her to change her friends and being with someone studious, she always told her that" The friend of mine is far better than me". Renney is more realistic and intelligent than her. Girl like her, who is living in an imaginary world and having a low IQ, know how miserable it feels. She was her only best friend who always helps her. She was the one to whom she can share all her secrets. Not only that, but she even helped her whenever she was in some difficult situation. This is why she liked her the most. Suddenly the bell rang, and they all went to their classes. Their class teacher came to the class. She was miss Smith who cares a lot about Swam. She behaves in a special and sweet way to her, as she was the most studious and dumb girl. Miss smith surprised everyone by a surprising announcement," I want two volunteers from our class, students who are interested can give their name to me. After that, we will conduct a voting". Swam was not listening to her, as she was busy checking out Thomas, who was still studying and listening to the news. He was sitting two-three desks away from him, which made it difficult for her to saw him. A girl who was sitting beside him was someone she hated the most. She was Maddy, an intelligent girl like Thomas. Everyone believed that she was the best match for him, but according to swam, she was the only one suited for Thomas. She was already in her thoughts, suddenly Miss Smith asked that who want to volunteer the class. And she was not in a mood to do such a thing. And then she saw both Thomas and Maddy gave their names to the teacher. She was stunned, but today she doesn't want to lose from Maddy, and then asked the teacher to write her name as well. The moment she said her name, everyone in the class laughed loudly. She was not happy. She felt bad, and then she saw Thomas, who also smiling. It made her uncomfortable and heartbroken. But she was not someone who would lost a battle from such embarrassment  Then teacher gave them two days to accomplish themselves to get voting. She doesn't have an idea what should be prepared, but Thomas's smile made her quite confident as this time she needs to prove him that she is not that stupid or dumb what exactly he thought about her and someone who will lose from Maddy

Embarrassment is where growth happens.

Embarrassment not only makes us stronger but also gives us the  power to have success. Swam was not in a good mood after what happened earlier. While coming back to home she was in a deep sorrow, she was singing a song like someone who was heartbroken. She felt bad when Thomas laughed at her with all the students of the class. It made her more unhappy. But after such scenario she got a confidence that she can't back out now, she wanted to be the one who will stand beside Thomas by volunteering and wanted to show  the inside strength to him. When she went to her room, she started browsing on web that how could she  attract people for voting. Web result showed the qualities in which she can't qualify. Some result showed that a person should show her intelligence, but as mentioned she lacks in that. She called Renney to ask that how could she win from Maddy? Renney told her to improve in the fields where she lacks. So that everyone could get attracted from her, and they will approach as a volunteer.

Suddenly, she remembered that the first success is to go to school on time. So that she can prove her ability to everyone.

Next day, when she woke up at 5:00 her parents were shocked that how could she woke up so early. But she was not happy as it was something very little for success. When she reached school, she saw that no one was there in the class except Thomas. She wanted to talk to him, but this time she was upset from him, and she went to her own seat. When she was about to sit on her place. Suddenly, she heard a voice in a deep silence, Surprisingly, it was Thomas, he asked" on time, good for you. Hope, this change is not just for today ". When he talked to her, she was happy as he comforted her, moreover it was a good start, she wanted to answer him, but she was not able to talk to him. She was happy but doesn't want  to get surrendered in front of him after what happened earlier.

She didn't speak a word and started doing her work. It was the first time when she ignored him. After all, she was the one who chases after him. She was so busy in implementing the plan. She decided to refresh everything by giving a speech. To make it more attractive she decided to speak in French, but it would be more  difficult for her to prepare. She wanted him to help her as he was the most intelligent guy of the class and someone who could speak French appropriately. She started speaking loudly to get the attention of Thomas. Furthermore, she started using words like

"Bonjour à tous" as banjor a tough and bénévole as benvle . These sentences made him angry, as he was someone who wanted to do everything properly. The more she used wrong sentences, the more he got frustrated. Surprisingly, he stood from his seat and came to closure to her. He took her paper and pen and sat beside her. She was out of breath as it was the first time when he was coming for her. She again started imagining  her fantasies, it was something she can't describe. As someone she liked the most was sitting beside her. While having imagination, she suddenly felt pain in her head, it was him who hit her with the pen he said " girl, stop dreaming and try to speak this sentence properly" . Suddenly, she felt awkward and focused on her speech. He told her that how should  she present the  speech . He wrote some presentable words to attract everyone and told her "you should not do something in which you are not interested but if you had  already decided, then give your 100 percent in it" his every word touched her heart, he had always been arrogant towards her, but also he had helped her every time.

While having their conversation, Maddy came to class . From her face, anyone can tell she was jealous, she doesn't wanted anyone to sit  beside Thomas. She asked him" hey Thomas, can you help me in writing? I have so much problem with  these sentences ".  Without any Hesitation, Thomas  went to her seat . He helped her also, which  disturbed swam. She doesn't like her to be with him . But she was happy, because he helped her with writing.

It's so lovable feeling, when your crush asks you something or helps you in someway. Having such feelings was so nice.

Swam concentrated on her class , when bell rang , all the students went to  their classes. It was the first time when everyone was watching her studying so hard. Suddenly, teacher came and asked the competitors to present their speech.

Swan was very nervous as she had never gave any speech in front of the class. Everyone was waiting for her speech.

The first person who took the initiative was Thomas. As expected when he  started his speech . It was so good , anyone could tell that , he is the only one who should considered as one of the volunteer. Even swam was lost in his speech , his eyes attracted her . After a while, speech ended.

Now next turn was of Maddy. She  was quiet confident as she was also considered as a top student in her class. She presented her speech in a quite good manner.

Everyone believed that Maddy and Thomas would be the volunteers.

Finally, it's time for swam to present her speech. Everyone could tell  from her face that how nervous she was .  When  she started her speech , everyone was shocked as she started giving her speech in French. Girls like her can't even speak proper English .

When her speech ended . Everyone clapped for her.

when she saw Thomas, she was so happy as he was also clapping for her. It was the most happiest moment for her. It didn't only gave her joy but also confidence.

Finally the time came , when all students had to vote for a volunteer.

Teacher gave cards to each student to write the name of the volunteer.

When everyone wrote down the name , teacher started counting the vote for the boy , as expected in each card it was Thomas's name .  The most happiest person for him was swam.

But now it's time for a girl volunteer. Teacher started counting the name , where she got to know  that both Mandy and swam have equal votes. Both of them  got 20 votes each. Everyone was confused , now who will be considered as a volunteer. It would be difficult , as both person got the same vote.

Teacher  checked that who was the one , who doesn't vote for them.

After that , it was found out the person who didn't vote was Thomas.

Now all the  attraction lies on him. Only his vote could decide the winner.
