A walk in the woods helps me relax and release tension. The fact that im dragging my boyfriends body behind me whilst trying to escape a huge black shadow is another case though.
Gasping for air i not so subtly sit up, my heart beating against my rib cage like an angered animal. "What the hell happened in that dream?" I breath as beads of sweat run down my face.
(Liam's POV)
"I don't sleep. My mind has the scary capability of being dark and demented." I whispered. "Why are you whispering?" Asks my psychiatrist. "Because they are here and they can hear me." I state carefully as a pair of foot steps can now be heard echoing through the halls and up to my bedroom door. "Who's here?" Igroning her question I slowly turn my head to the neatly dressed lady infront of me and ask one question. "Are you afraid of your dreams?"
(A week later, Noah's POV)
It monday and just like the past week, Liam is still yet to show up. Apparently something bad happened in one of his nightmares, something to do with me, and im really worried about him, he is my boyfriend after all and its my job to be concerned. Before all of this happened he would tell me everything, i dont even know why i bother trying to talk to him now because he hasnt been replying to any of my texts and calls. Last week i walked into one of his sessions with his psychiatrist to ask if he wanted a drink and let me just say, the look the poor lady gave me when i opened the door, she looked terrified. Liam just started laughting and i could imidiately tell that he had scared her as a joke. "Nice timing Noah!" Liam had exclaimed before giving me a kiss on the cheek and leaving the room.
Silly me, I haven't even explained why Liam has been seeing a psychiatrist. Basically he keeps having these terrible nightmares that he wount tell anyone about and hasnt been getting any sleep. His parents are worried and quite frankly so am i.
The bell echoed as the old lady behind me pressed the faded red, stop button. Mearly ten seconds later the bus came to an abrupt stop. It took all the strength i had to resist the force of the stop, but two chatting girls who stood at the front went flying into the pram of a sleeping baby. The baby awoke from the force and burst into tears; causeing chaos.
Silently i chuckle at the scene as the old lady exited the loud vehicle. But slowly my amused expression transitioned into one of anguish as my gaze drifted back to the cracked screen of my phone. On this screen were the thousands of messages i had sent to Liam.
Im on the bus and defiantly ready to go home. Once the next stop passes by I too press the button causeing the illuminate stop sign to light up. The bus slows down stedily this time as the driver noticed the chaos from last time and kept it in mind. I abruptly stand up and swing my navy backpack over my shoulder. Calmly i step off of the bus, thanking the driver in the process. I'm taking the long route Home today because i need to calm down.
The fiery array of leaves lay a rest on the pavement; crunching under my feet. As the spine chilling wind covered my body and gently whispered in my ear but i continue my walk. Eventually my house enters my vision. "Home sweet home." I sigh.
