I’m Charlie, 15 years old and currently a sophomore in high school. When i first came as a freshman, i though school would be okay. I didn't really have any friends, i don't need any. But there was this one girl who wouldn't stop talking to me. I tried my best to ignore her but she wouldn't give up. i didn't talk to her but i gave her a glare that made her heart skip a beat and stopped talking mid-sentence. I put my hands on her shoulders and stared at her. She was speechless. She didn't know what do say or do and i could see a slight blush on her cheeks. Bright pink. I took one hand off and signed "stop" with it. Then i reached down for my backpack and grabbed my notebook and a pencil. I started writing, "do you know sign language?" i wrote. She stared at me for a few seconds and responded. "uh..yes." calmly but shy. Then i looked at her and started talking though sign language ever since. I told her that i didn't want to be her friend multiple times. She wouldn't give up. That's when i gave in. Since the first day of freshman year, we have been good friends, even though i don't use my voice to talk but my hands. She's okay with that. I'm glad. We hung out ever since. But there was just one problem. My bully was her brother. HER BROTHER. I hated him so much. He has been bullying me since freshman year. I hated him so much. God life can't get any worse. Well it can, i don't want to jinx it..  My past has a lot to do with why i don't like talking to people. And why I really hate them, but Katie is an exception. (My best friend since the first day of freshman year and also my bully's sister.) When i was about 6 years old, me and my parents were watching a movie on a regular saturday night. Then my mama started acting a little weird like she saw a ghost or something. My papa told me to go to my room. I wish i did that day but i didn't listen. I stayed with him and said no. Two large muscular guys broke the front door and marched in. I hid behind the couch horrified. I was too scared to ask my mama and papa what was going on. "WHERE'S THE KID?" one of them yelled while slapping my mama in the face causing her to loose her balance and fall to my papa's arms. I was so confused and horrified that I got out of my hiding spot and ran to my mama. "M-mama? Are you okay?" I managed to say. "NO!" papa cried. A gunshot. "AHHH!!" another gunshot. "Our job is done, let's go" they left. "m-mama? p-p-papa..?" i cried out. "MAMA! PAPA!" i cried even more. They were dead. I will never forget that day. I blame myself for their death. I killed them. If i listened to my papa and went to my room, they would be alive. I had to live by myself.. Monday came and i had to walk to school. I was mute. I couldn't speak. I stayed quiet the rest of the day. When i came home, i went to my room and started crying again. Even when i tried talking to myself, I couldn't. Not one would came out of my mouth, no matter how hard I tried. I was living by myself ever since and i didn't tell anyone. In 7th grade, I tried talking to myself again. I failed. I tried for 3 hours. "h-h-he-........." i mumbled. "HELLO MY NAME IS CHARLIE!" I yelled to the top of my lungs. Oh my god..I DID IT! I DID IT! That day that i spoke, I was really proud of myself. I would practice talking more and more often and then it became a daily thing. I just never talked with another person besides myself in the mirror. My past still haunts me, i try to forget about it but every time i'm in my house, all i could think about are mama and papa.

Charlie could hear footsteps coming from downstairs

he was still in bed, not wanting to move a single pixel

Katie slams the door open

Charlie rolls his eyes and covers his face with a pillow while groaning

Charlie signs Katie to go away

Charlie gets up and walks towards Katie like a zombie to get his clothes from her hand

Charlie starts rushing to get changed

he immediately opens the door and Katie stared at him for a bit before she grabs his arm and dragged him to school

In front of the school

as Charlie was about to sign, Griffin joins the scene

Then the bell rang

Charlie signs

Then Griffin signs

He stopped signing

Charlie tilted his head of confusion

Griffin looked too embarrassed to finish his sentence

Instead, he punched Charlie and knocked him down to the ground punching him again in his stomach

Then he kicked Charlie in the stomach in the same spot where he punched him

Charlie was knocked to the floor

He tried getting up but Griffin wouldn’t let him

Charlie tried not to make any sound

But his stomach hurt so much

He covered his mouth really tightly and Griffin kick him once again in the same spot

Griffin started to laugh

But it was far from a normal laugh

It was more like a nervous laugh

Every time he beats up Charlie, he has never kicked him

It was mostly punches

After the awkwardly nervous laugh, Griffin bent down and looked at Charlie right in the soul which made Charlie flinch a little

He gently cupped Charlie’s face and placed a finger on Charlie’s forehead

Making his way down with his finger to Charlie’s lips

Charlie was about to tell him something through sign language but Griffin slapped him, almost knocking him out

Charlie’s body hurt so much that he couldn’t move

He was about to close his eyes then he did

When he opened them again

Everyone was walking past him

He was laying down against the lockers

Katie was across the hall with her boyfriend

Then she looked at him

Charlie signed “help me” but Katie looked away, ignoring him

Charlie tried getting up but he couldn’t because of his pain throughout his body

His eyes stared to water

He got up really quickly but ended up losing his balance again and tried to grip on the lockers to maintain his balance but failed and ended up on the floor again

He did it again and started to make his way to the clinic

When he walked inside, he lost his balance and fell down

Griffin is there

Charlie looked up at Griffin as he was getting closer to him

Charlie signs

Griffin came closer and Charlie flinched

Griffin didn’t use sign language this time

Charlie signed

Griffin giggled

Griffin bent down and grabbed Charlie’s arm and put it over his shoulder to help Charlie up

Griffin giggled again but then laughed a little harder

He did some type of karate move on Charlie which made Charlie hit his back really hard on the floor

He let out a silent scream and his breath became faster and faster

Griffin looked at Charlie for a moment before he sat down next to him on the floor

Then he let out a big sigh before going on top of Charlie and Charlie covered his mouth with both his hands so he wouldn’t make a single sound

Griffin leaned towards him

Their eyes met, but even closer than usual

Griffin whispered in Charlie’s ear

Then he grinned

Charlie shivered and nodded “no”

Griffin leaned in closer

Charlie could feel Griffin’s hot breath on his lips

Griffin smirks and kissed him out of no where

Charlie’s eyes were so wide it felt like they were going to pop out

His heart started racing

He shut his eyes as tightly as he could

When he opened them, Griffin broke the kiss

Griffin snatched both of Charlie’s hands and pinned them above his head

Griffin kissed him again but this time slid his tongue in and started using it

He started to suck on Charlie’s tongue and Charlie let out a little moàn on accident

Griffin stopped and let go of Charlie’s hands

He smirked, looking excited

He let out a small moàn on purpose

Charlie covered his face with both his hands with full embarrassment

Griffin got off of Charlie and picked himself up

He helped Charlie up too

Since Charlie was loosing his balance, Griffin had a “great idea” and cupped Charlie’s face with one of his hands and the other vacant hand was placed around Charlie’s waist

Griffin kissed Charlie on the cheek a little more gently and smiled while looking away

Charlie didn’t even know how to react

All Charlie could do was stare

Griffin was helping Charlie walk out the door when they both started hearing loud moàning coming their way

They both ran back to hide behind one of the beds in the room

The door opened and surprisingly it was Katie and her boyfriend

They were pulling off each other’s clothes

Then Charlie saw Griffin’s face

Full of disbelief and disappointment

He looked at Charlie and Charlie signed

Charlie responded knowing what Griffin was going to do

Katie moàned

Katie jumped

Griffin’s tone was filled with anger like he was about to yell

Griffin frowned

Katie’s face turned into stone

Charlie managed to get hut but soon knowing he was going to loose balance so he quickly walked up to Griffin and slid his body right next to his

Griffin grabbed Charlie’s arm and placed it on his shoulder while Griffin’s other hand was holding Charlie’s waist

Charlie glared at Katie

When Charlie and Griffin walked out the room, Griffin’s face turned pink

His eyes turned pink, keeping his tears in but he just couldn’t

He started to cry

They went outside behind the school and sat down on the field behind the bleachers

Griffin cried even more

Charlie placed his hand on Griffin’s cheek and moved his face towards his

Griffin then put his hand on top of Charlie’s

Charlie didn’t know what to do so he just, spoke

He stuttered

Charlie finished Griffin’s sentence

Griffin took off his hand that was on top of Charlie’s and took Charlie’s hand off too and plopped his head in Charlie’s shoulder

Then held one of Charlie’s hands

Charlie didn’t know what else to do so they just sat there, for over 10 minutes

Griffin’s head was about to fall off of Charlie’s shoulder

He had fallen asleep from all the crying

Then Griffin’s head fell down to Charlie’s laps

Charlie moved Griffin a little just so that Griffin would be a little more comfortable

Griffin was still holding Charlie’s hand

Charlie let him sleep because he didn’t wanna bother him

He started to feel Griffin’s hair and slowly started moving back and forth until he was caressing his hair

The Katie started running towards them

He rolled his eyes and looked the other way

She took the hint and walked away
