Katherine Pov

Me and my friends were sitting in a circle like always but I looked more excited like very very excited to reveal something very important to my four friends. Estrella looked bored out of her wits and she wanted to go home even if it's early in the morning and school is going to start after 5 mins.

Amara gave her sweet smile looking very interested at whatever I was going to say even if it was bullshit coming out of my mouth. She is a great listener and our sunshine. Vela was playing with Estrella's hand giving me half her attention. And Jade……was in her own bubble.

"Soooo Guys you won't believe what happened!" I gave a wide grin, my cheeks hurting from how wide my smile was but I couldn't control it. I was just so happy. I was on cloud nine.

"Just spill it already" Vela gave an impatient look, well she could have completed a chapter if I didn't take her time. What can I say, a badass nerd. Estrella takes vela's small hands in hers and plays with it and she calms down. They both are best friends. Every group has a duo and that's true.

"Say it before you fell off the chair-" Estrella shuts her mouth when I really fell off the chair, I'm clumsy af I admit it. "Sorry, ow…so I was saying that guess what happened?" I sat back at the chair rubbing the invisible dirt off my dress.

"You got a front seat of the weekend's concert" Jade chimes in, "Dude I can't afford it stop bullying me" I glare at her and she just shrugs it off. "Well just guessing."

"Absolutely wrong, the right answer is dun…dun…dun" I gave the dramatic effect which was really needed in my boring life. "Jordan talked to me!" I squealed in happiness.

"Girl! I thought it was important" Estrella

"That's how human functions, they talk" Vela

"That's great Kat!" Amara

"Huh?" Jade

"You guys my crush talked to me, that's a big deal" I pout "Good now go back to your seat because the bell rang and teacher will be here" Vela patts my head. "You guys are cruel, only Amara is my truest bestie" I hugged Amara tightly.

I let Amara go when the teacher arrived. We all have business studies together but Jordan River, my crush, doesn't take this class.

He is a tall man like 179 cm tall, I just rech his chest I need to look up to see his face, his doe brown eyes which has eyebrow piercing hot. Kissable rosy lips with lip piercing hot hot hot. And not to forget his bunny smile and dimples hot and cute. He gives the bad boy vibes but he is a sweetheart to everyone.

He was a nice guy until his ex girlfriend left him don't know why though, how could someone leave a guy like him but at the same time I'm glad that she left him more chances for me if I ever have any. A girl can dream.

It's been a year since she left the school. He smiles less, talks less and does not look happy like he used to. Oh how I want to bring back that bunny smile of his.

Today was like a miracle. He talked to me, I was being the clumsy self I am and tripped on my own legs. Embarrassing I know. And he saw that, I couldn't even lift my head up because I was so red with embarrassment. He helped me up and asked If I need to go to the infirmary and the stupid self I am ran off like my pants were on fire.

I can't help but embarrass my self . "It's time for the next class, earth to Kat" Estrella snaps her finger and I snap back to reality. "Oh! Let's go" I say enthusiastically but wait a damn minute "Oh no no no" I stopped dead on my tracks.

"What's wrong?" Estrella asked in confusion. "It's chemistry" I say in horror "and" Estrella says folding her arms. "Jordan will be there" I whispered yelled. "That's good isn't it." She started dragging me to the class.

"No you don't understand, I can't show my face to him. I just embarrassed myself in front of him. I can't take more humiliation" I trailed off till we reach the class. She gives me an evil smile "Good luck Kat" and she pushes me to the class getting in herself.

Traitor. I will kill her in her sleep. I saw Jordan talking to his friend and I ducked down and slowly tip toed at the last bench. Luckily he didn't notice me. I sighed a relief when I heard a deeper than the ocean voice beside me.

"Katherine, is that you?" Startled, I looked beside me and my Jaw dropped on the floor. When did he get so handsome? "Noah! You look…..different" I say in awe. He has some good fashion sense right there.

"Good or bad?" He asked, raising his one brow, that was kinda sexy but we are loyal to Jordan bitches. "Amazingly different" I answered honestly. "Did I not look good before?" He teases me giving his full blown boxy smile.

"Come on, you were like 12 when we met. Puberty hit you hard my boy. When did you come back from Korea?" Noah was born in Korea, he has a different Korean name which is still a mystery to me.

We met through Estrella, he is her cousin and they are freaking crazy rich like diamond spoon rich. I had a small childhood crush on Noah but it's gone now. "I came back on Saturday and this time I am not going back."

"That's great" I smiled and we talked about everything we did in our lives. Our chemistry teacher didn't care that we were talking during the whole class as long as we talk softly and do not disturb the one who really wants to study. At the end we are going to give the test and he is going to give the mark.

I was so busy catching up with Noah that I totally forgot someone and that someone was towering above me. "Hey are you okay?" I heard the familiar voice and my heart stopped beating.

Katherine Pov

"Are you okay?"

I don't want to turn around. Noah looked behind me curiously and hesitantly I turned around so that I didn't seem rude. He is just here to check on me.

"I…..um…I…" He laughed heartily like a full blown laugh and I turned red. "You're so cute, be careful next time and don't get hurt okay" he pats my head like I am a child and leaves me red.

What just happened? Did he call me cute? Me? Am I cute? Oh I can't breathe. He called me cute!

"Katherine are you okay?" Noah looked concerned. I got up from the bench feeling like I got 100 in my test paper which is never gonna happen by the way.

"Katherine?" Noah said again, oops I totally ignored him. "Um..yes yes I'm alright- "watch out" He shouts and I bumped into the wall "Ow" not a whattpad wall you guys a real hard cement wall.

"Oh my God are you okay?" He got up and came straight to me, "Katherine you're bleeding" he panics and yes my nose was bleeding. Nothing new happens all the time. It feels like I am cursed to get hurt every time.

"It's okay Noah, I'm fine" I assured him but the boy looked like he was going to have a heart attack. "No it's not fine, keep your head down" He put my head down and gave me a tissue to stop the bleeding and dragged me to the infirmary.

I was sitting on the bed and my friends were surrounding me while Noah sat beside me on the chair. "Are you okay Kat?" Amara asked, looking worried. "I'm okay bro, no worries he was worrying for nothing." I shrugged looking at Noah who gave me a sheepish smile.

"Your friend is free to go now" the nurse said and we left. Jade, Amara and Vela went to their class while Estrella and Noah stayed behind because they had English with me.

"So you met him already I see" Estrella gives Noah a look and he avoids her eyes. "Yup" I say. We walked to the class together. I was sitting between Estrella and Noah.

"Did you finish the essay mam gave on Friday?" I asked Estrella "I was supposed to write an essay?" Not surprising at all. Noah laughs at her cousin "You will shut your mouth if you want to see the sun next day" Estrella threatens shutting him up.

She starts writing the essay that we have to submit at the end of the class. That's how she is. She has a cold, 'I don't care' attitude and gives a rare smile. In short a tsundere. If you don't know what that means, Google is there for a reason buddy help yourself. You're welcome.

After the class ended we moved to the canteen to meet others. I bought myself French fries and a chicken sandwich and sat beside Jade. Noah was sitting on the other table mingling with the popular jocks as they are called, because Estrella kicked him out of our table.

You need to get past Vela and Estrada to sit at our table, which is hardly possible. "How is your nose?" Vela asked while Estrella stole the chicken from her plate and she let her. Friendship goals.

"It's fine, just a little painful" I rubbed my nose gently. I hope I don't look ugly with a bandage right now. Who am I kidding?

"Tell me about your crush, any progress?" As I was going to answer her question excitedly, I didn't notice the ball coming straight at me. Before it could knock me down, Jade caught the ball on instinct.

"I got you girl" Jade patts my back and my mouth opened wide in shock.

"WHO THE ****?" Vela stands up "IS PLAYING WITH A BALL INSIDE THE CANTEEN" her deadly voice echoed through the canteen. We all looked the way the ball came from and saw Ryle trying to hide behind the pillar. Keyword trying.

Vela walks to him gripping his color tightly and dragging him to us. Girl woke up and chose violence. "Look, I didn't mean to hurt her or anything. I was just trying my basketball skills which turns out be bad" She glares at him.

"Apologise" Estrella says calmly "oh yes, I'm sorry, I'm sorry Katherine. I'm sorry for your bad luck" the last line, he thought out loud was the moment he knew he fucked up. And his head came crashing down on the table. "Oops, my hand slipped." Vela dusted her hand like she didn't just smash his head on the table.

Now here we are, in the principal's office. "You smashed the boy's head on the table, Miss Astor?" Mr. King asked, rubbing his forehead. "Yes," She said without feeling guilty.

This was not the first time she was violent. But I can't deny the warm feeling that came after she did what she did. I was bullied because of my so-called bad luck and people started calling me unlucky and started to avoid me like I was a plague.

Whenever something bad happened people started blaming me for everything. If a couple broke up it was my fault, if we were having bad weather that was also my fault. If the p.e teacher had an accident outside the school probably my bad luck was to blame. People just don't understand that I am clumsy.

Bad luck was a sore word for me and my friends know it. "This is not the first time this happened Miss Astor, if your father is investing in school doesn't mean you can do whatever you want. I can't suspend you but you're going to detention for a whole month" She just nods her head in understanding.

"I helped her smash his head," Estrella says. "And I was happy that she smashed his head." I said, "I was cheering for her," Amara said with a bright smile. "I think I should join the basketball club my catch was dope" She told and Mr. King looked at us in disbelief with a migraine on his way.

"Detention for all of you, out of my office"

Mrs. Muffin was in a deep sleep and the troublemakers were doing their own things. Like flying a paper plane, playing rock paper scissors and a couple making out at the back. Gross.

"It's so boring here" Estrella sucks her lollipop "Let's hang out after school" Vela said "I can't I have work" I told sighing at the thought of working. "I'm joining the basketball club" Jade said in determination.

"Go for it my child" Estrella pats her head. "Oh my! Look who's here" Vela said and we all look at the door and found Mr. Jones griping Jordan and Noah's ear. "You will forget ever misbehaving after this" Mr. Jones said and pushed both of them inside the class. Mrs. Muffin sits up being startled by the noise and pretends like she was not sleeping but the drool on her cheeks says otherwise.

Mrs. Muffin was an old lady, with red curly hair and a short chubby figure. The boys walked and sat behind us with a shit eating grin looking very smug. "Hey, we meet again" Jordan give her a big smile and she melt like goo trying not to be obvious.

Estrella elbows me and mouths "say something stupid" I said trying yall. "Oh, hii" I wave back too enthusiastically. "And here I thought you would be careful" he shakes his head in fake disappointment. "Oh this…I ran into a wall" I laugh awkwardly.

"Why are yall here anyways?" I asked the question to Noah because I couldn't make eye contact with him. "He glued Mr. Jones on the chair" Noah answers pointing a finger at Jordan who was smirking in amusement.

"What about you?"

"I couldn't stop laughing" I laughed at him because that's so Noah thing. We all started talking about stuff and I tried really hard not to look at my crush. It was tougher than my exams for real.

Jordan Pov

After successfully avoiding half of the population of school by eating at the terrace. My sacred place I walked to my next class which is history. I won't bore you by telling you how deep my hatred for history is. It just sucks and I can't seem to swallow.

That's so bad Jordan. I shake my head at my inappropriate wordings when I saw some girls getting out of the principal's office. And I saw a familiar girl in the crowd. Miss Panda girl, and I am saying this because she is so cute and clumsy.

And I like how she always gets flustered whenever I am around. I hid myself behind the pillar when they walked my way. "I love you so much for doing that Vela, but you gotta stop getting in trouble because of me" Miss Panda said and the redhead just shrugged.

The blonde girl back hugged my Panda…..I mean Miss Panda who looked sad but grateful. "We're in this together" She smiled, cheering her up. "And he deserved it anyway, you could have died" the raven haired girl said coldly.

"Now you're exaggerating it Ella" She laughed "whatever Alien" Ella said rolling her eyes. That must be a nickname for her and by the looks Miss Panda looked happy hearing that nickname.

"Guy's I still can't believe, I caught the ball" the brunette said out of nowhere and the girls sighed, not looking surprised. They walked past me fully and the last thing I heard was detention for a whole month. Sounds Interesting and I just know what to do to avoid history.

Katherine Pov

After the detention we said our goodbyes. I was waiting for my bus when I felt a familiar presence. I turned to him hoping he was not looking at me but damn how wrong I was he was staring right into my soul.

"This feels like destiny, doesn't it" He gives his bunny smile which was so cute that I wanted to just grab his cheeks and squeeze it. "Hii" I squealed, feeling embarrassed to even make that sound.

He gave a sexy smirk by looking at my reaction. This man knows what he is doing and I want to scream out of my lungs and squeal in happiness.

"By the way Jordan at your service" He pulls out his hand from his pocket for a handshake.

"Kat….Katherine Williams" I stuttered, I just had to stutter didn't I. I hid my red face by covering it with my hands and he laughed at my misery. "That must hurt right?" He touched my nose gently and pulled away instantly like I burned him.

"It hurts at times but it's alright. I am used to it by now" I shrugged and he frowned. He wanted to say something but I saw my bus coming and cut him off. "My bus is coming, I should get going. It was nice talking- I was walking backwards and didn't see my steps but before I could fall he caught me "to you" I finished awkwardly hanging in his arms.

"I Got you" He said smiling softly at me. My heart skipped a beat and before it could run a marathon. I got up on my feet and pushed him lightly and rushed to my bus with a very obvious red face. I sat at the very end and looked out the window to see him waving at me.

"I'm back home mamma" I said walking straight at the kitchen and opening the fridge to chug a bottle of water to cool down. "How many times did I say wash up before you touch anything after coming from outside? You're gonna bring all the germs with you" Mom nagged at me and to make her more mad I kissed her cheeks and ran off to my room laughing.

"The audacity!" She shouts "Calm down Lisa, let the child breathe she just came back from school" I heard my father say. I collapsed in bed feeling really happy for some odd reason.

I pulled out my phone and went to chat. Going straight to the pinned group. 'President joon simp gang' And this is not Donald trump. This is our school hot president we all are whipped for except Vela. Who can't stand the guy for even a second and is displeased by our group name but the majority wins.

Katherine- Guys!! Guys Guys!!! Guess what happened at the bus stop.

If you are curious, let me explain their name and emoji. Amara is obvious because she is such a sweetheart, I love Vela's red hair so the name and the lips. Estrella's name means star but she is obsessed with the moon and the irony. Jade is a great artist so the name came from the famous Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh.

And the reason I gave her a butterfly emoji is because she loves to explore things. She is trying to understand herself right now, she likes painting, sports and singing plus she wants to be a fashion designer. She is really talented but people think she is dumb because she doesn't talk much and lives in her own little bubble.

You will spill your whole secret to her and ask her to promise not to say anything to anyone and her reply will be "Huh" because she was not listening to you in the first place. She is iconic and cute and nobody can change my opinion. Back to my present self. You might have to scroll up and check what was going on because of my rambling.

"Lunch is ready, come down Kat" My mom shouts "I'll be right there after 5 mins" and my door opens and a furious mom looks at me and my phone. "Is the phone going to feed your hunger Kat, I thought you already showered and look at you. You're still stuck with the phone" My mom sighed and I gave a sheepish smile.

"Before my mom kicks me out of this house because I haven't taken a shower yet, I gotta go. Love ya" I clicked the send button and quickly got up from my cosy bed.

"You sound like a typical Asian mom, mamma" I said "because I am an Asian child" She comes with the intention of kicking my *** but I get inside the bathroom while kicking the damn chair which was on the way. "Oopsie" I laugh out loud.

My mom shakes her head. After taking a shower, my legs take me to the delicious aroma coming from the kitchen. My dad serves the food which he made with his own hands. My dad is a chef in our little restaurant. My mom works in a company.

We don't really get family time like this. Dad most of the time stayed at his restaurant but he was not feeling well today so he stayed back home and trusted his best friend enough to run his restaurant safely. My mom took a day off to take care of dad but looking at him right now I doubt he is telling the truth.

He sometimes makes excuses to stay back but we need to work to live under a shelter. I love the way my dad is looking at my mom right now like he is so in love with this woman. Even if she nags his ear off. That's her love language.

"Sit down old man, you're not well" She sits him down and takes his job instead. He just smiles and does as she says. She serves us both the dish and we thank her and start eating without talking. That's the rule.

After finishing the delicious meal I get up to help my mother do the dishes but knock the glass of water instead. "Whoops! I did it again~" I sang. My mom shakes her head. "Go do your studies Kat, before you break all the plates" I pout. My dad pats my head in comfort and I go back to my room.

I start doing my homework while getting a little distracted and scrolling through Instagram and going back to studies again. After finishing all the assignments I plop to my bed. "Finally!" Nobody likes to study and those who do, God has blessed them with a good brain. They don't need to worry but it can't be said to me.

I check my phone again and see a message from an unknown number.

"Hey! Babe. I want to be the friend you hopelessly fall in love with"
