Emma is a resilient in a strikingly beautiful young women, only 21 years old, reciding in the charming coastal town of Newport, Oregon with her beloved mom and grandmother.
Despite her youth, she have already shouldered the responsibility of supporting her family, taking odd jobs to fund her grandmother's medical expenses since her mother's beauty salon income false short.
From tutoring to baby sitting, an even serving tables at the grandest hotel in town, she have put countless hours of hard work to make ends meet.
However faith seems to have dealt a cruel hand recently. The Hotel Manager showed her the door sitting her tardiness and clumsiness, while her boyfriend, Daniel, vanished into thin hair, taking all her savings with him.
Now she find herself unemployed, penniless and heartbroken, brooding in his family's dilapidated abode, dunking biscuits in cold tea and ruminating over the mess that her life has become.
As she sit there, she can hear her grandmother's incessant coughing from an end and her mother dyeing her hair at the other end.
The doorbell interrupts her thoughts, but she feel too drained to move.

Standing there is a man, so sauve and desbonair, she can hardly believe, he's real.
He is tall with piercing blue eyes and perfectly styled hair, that look like it look hours to get just right.

Her grandmother makes the call and the cops arrive to take Erick away.
As the driver, standing near the car starts to approach, Erick stops him with a hand gesture.
After the cops leave with Erick, she sat in the living room, taking a deep breath.
