I (Kirishima)was hiking in the woods at the superhero high school campus when I heard a loud BANG! I whipped around to see Elle was being attacked by Dabi the villain who's super power is hellfire the hottest blue fire Dabi kicked Elle to the ground Elle's leg was bent at an unnatural angle Elle tried to get up but Dabi stomped on Elle's arm I could hear the bones breaking I rushed into action hardening my fist landing a punch to Dabi's face Dabi laughed before relentlessly attacking me I harden my body to protect myself but I could only harden myself for so long my right hand and wrist started to get cracks in them I cried out in pain Dabi saw the opening and knocked me to the ground I tried to get up but I couldn't get the strength to Dabi walked over to Elle and grabbed her by the collar of her shirt Dabi smiled wickedly then pressed a hand with blue flame against Elle's back the flame burned all the way around her torso Elle cried out in pain as her burned her flesh Kirishima layed there feeling helpless as Elle cried out in pain then her cries of agony stopped as she slumped forward and fell unconscious to the ground Dabi grinned wickedly and said "now for you" I stood up and with the last bit of strength landed a blow to Dabi's head his eyes rolled back in his head as he fell unconscious to the ground I fell to the ground feeling all the cracks on my hand and wrist I looked at Elle's unconscious body burned on the ground tears filling my eyes I couldn't protect her... I tried to call for help but my voice was strained and not very loud I closed my eyes then I heard a gasp from a girl it was Lizzy a girl from the superhero high school who could fly I weakly opened my eyes and in a voice that was barely whisper "get help for Elle" before I slipped back into unconsciousness after how long I couldn't tell I heard the beeping of hospital equipment and the noise of foot steps as nurses were busily tending to our injuries I struggled to open my eyes but when I did I blinked a couple times the lights were too bright I said in a horse voice "...Elle" I looked over where Elle lay she had a thick layer of bandages around her chest wrapping to her back, she had an IV in her arm, and she had an oxygen mask on I started to panic seeing her condition the monitor started beeping loudly indicating that my heart was beating to fast some of the nurses rushed over "don't worry you both are in good hands" one of the nurses said soothingly as they administered a sedative into the IV drip I struggled fight against the wave of sleepiness but my eyelids grew heavy I whispered "I'm sorry Elle....." before falling into a deep sleep

Later I woke up and looked over at Elle who was still unconscious in her hospital bed feeling a pang of guilt I couldn't save her the nurse saw that I was awake and asked how I was doing then explained that my body would continue to crack if I kept pushing power too hard Elle's weak voice came muffled since she had the oxygen mask on "Kiri... it hurts..." Kirishima's heart sank seeing that Elle was in pain Elle said "Kiri... mmm....." then her head went limply to the side the monitor started beeping loudly indicating that Elle's heart had stopped beating I got up a rushed over to Elle "Elle, ELLE WAKE UP!!!" The doctor came in hearing the commotion the doctor started performing CPR on her I held my breath praying that Elle would pull through this the monitor showed that Elle's heart started beating again very faintly tears welled up in my eyes Elle was alive! Later Elle woke up in fit of violent coughs I look over at Elle concerned "are you okay?" Elle answered her voice muffled still by the oxygen mask "y... yeah I'm... *cough *cough f...fine*cough *cough *wheeze" the doctor came in to check on Elle he took the oxygen mask off and removed the IV Elle smiled as the doctor told her that she could start carefully healing herself I watched in awe as she focused and the bruises started to fade and her cuts turned into scars then Elle set closed her eyes  in concentration as she healed her ribs which had been broken by the CPR and her arm which was bent at a unnatural angle straightened "that's so cool!" I say Elle smiled then said out of breath from the effort "th...thanks but... I'm not done yet" Elle was getting tired and it was getting harder to heal herself Elle closed her eyes and set her jaw and started healing her leg but then her eyes went wide horror as she said panicked "I... I healed my l...leg wrong!" *Elle panicked started hyperventilating* "hey, hey it's okay breathe inhale..... exhale... okay tell me what happened" I say "I... I healed the bones the wrong way..." Elle said still a little panicky "okay let me go tell the doctor I'll be right back" I say I came back with the doctor and the doctor took an xray and showed us the way the bone was supposed to be and the way that Elle's bone was I asked "is there anything that you can do about it?" the doctor explained how they would need to perform surgery and put the bone back the way it needed to be the Anesthesiologist came in and gave Elle shot in the arm Elle layed down on the hospital bed and looked up at me with her sparkling golden eyes full of fear "I'm scared Kiri..." I looked down her and say "it's okay to be scared but I'll be right there when you wake up okay?" Elle whispered "okay"  then I saw her eyelids start to droop as she fell asleep.

After a while of waiting in the lobby the nurse came and said "you can see Elle now she's still a bit loopy though the Anesthesia hasn't worn off" I walked into the room "Kiri" Elle said in a sing song voice I chuckled a little at Elle's loopy state "Kiri is such a pretty name" Elle said in the same sing song voice "I think your name is pretty too" I blushed little realizing just how cute Elle was with her golden eyes, dark tan skin, her cute freckles that paraded across her face, and her wavy honey colored hair with golden streaks "you're so pretty" I say to her Elke who was still completley loopy said in the same sing song  voice "you're pretty too!" Elle gave a goofy smile before falling asleep I sat in a chair next to her hospital bed I brushed some of her untamed hair surprised  at how soft it was I felt my heart start to race a little looked at Elle's peaceful face "I wish I could tell you how much you mean to me..." I whispered  to myself "and how much I love you..." I looked down at her leg in had a long cut that went from her knee to almost her ankle it had stitches in it later Elle woke up and said "Kiri..." in her normal sweet southern accent instead of the sing song loopy voice "how are you feeling" I say softly "Like $h!#" Elle cussed annoyed with herself for not being able to heal her leg the right way "it's okay I'm here if you need some one to talk to" I said reaching out with my good hand Elle healed her leg and made sure she did it the right way the doctor cleared them to go to their dorm that Me, Elle, Lizzy, and a Trace shared we each had our  own room and bathroom, and then there was a kitchen and livingroom Elle sat down next to me on the couch in the living Elle winced as she sat down from her third degree burns "Are you okay?" I asked "yeah burns the only thing I don't know how to heal safely... wait what happened to your arm?" Elle said pointing at the bandages around where my body started too break and crack "oh it's nothing I just fell on it" I lied unconvincingly "Kiri tell me the truth" Elle said I sighed before explaining that I pushed my body to hard trying to protect her "Kiri thank you" after a while Elle noticed tears rolling down my face "Kiri what's wrong?" Elle said brushing a tear away with her gently finger I whispered "I don't want to break..." Elle said "oh Kiri" Elle hugged me making sure to avoid bumping my bad arm we sat there on the couch watching tv when Elle blushed embarrassed realizing that she only had a thick layer of bandages on her chest like a bra I saw her blush and followed her gaze to the the bandages around her chest from where she had gotten burned I felt my own face get warm I went out of the room and came with one of my tshirts and helped Elle into it I chuckled to myself seeing how big it was it was about the right width because Elle was muscularly built but I am six feet and eight inches tall and Elle is five and a half feet tall so it was like a dress Elle smiled saying "thanks" before snuggling up close to me
