Hi All,
This is my first chat story.
This is the story of Ethan and Alice.
How they overcome their fear of the previous relationship and give love a chance is the base of the story.

When we love someone, we think that we will live with that person for the rest of our life. We feel the need to see each other every morning the first think when we wake up. Hug each other every day, spend time with each other, love each other, have kids and spend the rest of the life together while raising the kids.
When the bubble of hope burst, it really hurts. We come to see the clear picture of our partner who we think are our soulmate.
Are soulmates real.....is love real......if love is real then why do we fail in love sometimes. Why do we get hurt by loving the person so dearly?
Episode 1
It is the month of July, and the city is witnessing one of the heaviest downpours of the season.
In one of the tallest buildings, on the top most floor there was a man looking at the rain through the floor length window. He rested one of his hands on the window and the other was holding a cigarette in his hand.
He was lost in the myriad of his memories.
It's been six years, six damn years that we are divorced.
I still remember the day we got married. I was so looking forward to that marriage with you, my childhood crush, my love.
Why did you do this to me? What mistake did I make to deserve this? Why did you leave me and the kids? ...... With all these questions, not only his head but his heart was aching the most.
A sudden lightning in the sky blinded his eyes from the glass window, and he jolted back to reality.
He looked at the time on his wristwatch, it was already 9:15 PM.
Ethan Luis
(I need to rush, the kids must be waiting for me).
Ethan came to the parking lot, got into his car and left the office building.
It was raining too hard, the roads were full of water flowing in all directions.
Due to heavy rain, the streetlights were also not working, making the road too hard to drive.
Ethan was still patient and drove the car looking deeply into the dark night.
Someone came in front of the car. Ethan tried hard to put the brakes but still the car hit that person and that person fell into the water on the road.
Ethan walked out of the car in panic only to see a lady with blood flowing from her head. She was unconscious.
Ethan picked her up, put her in the backseat of the car and drove to the nearest hospital.
The doctors immediately attended to the patient. Ethan called the nanny at home to inform her that he would be late and let the kids sleep as he was not sure when he would return home.
The doctor came out from the emergency room and informed Ethan about the condition of that lady.
Ethan Luis
Doctor, how is she?
Doctor
She is fine for now. Her cut on the head was deep, and she lost a lot of blood. She will be unconscious for the next 10 hrs.
Doctor was hesitating to continue.
Ethan Luis
Do you have anything on your mind, please say it.
Doctor
The lady’s body seems to be too weak. I think she was previously abused a lot and is malnutritioned.
Ethan Luis
Let her wake up, and we can talk to her about it.
Doctor
(Handed over a small purse to Ethan). This purse was with her the whole time. It has some papers and certificates.
Ethan Luis
Keep them with you, when she wakes up, hand it over to her.
Ethan Luis
I will take my leave now and drop by tomorrow. Call me if she wakes up early.
Ethan left the hospital to his home. By the time he reached home the kids slept.
He went to their room and saw both of them curled up in their blankets like koala bears.
Ethan smiled looking at his sons.
Yes, they both were twins, Lio & Rio.
Ethan went to them kissed on each of thier foreheads and left to his bedroom.

Maria, are kids awake?
Maria Nanny
Yes Sir, they are awake and Tina is getting them ready.
Ethan Luis
Can you get them to have breakfast?
I will have my breakfast with them today.
Maria Nanny
Yes Sir, I will get them now.
Maria went to the kids bedroom.
Maria Nanny
Good morning baby Lio and Good morning baby Rio.
Rio Luis
Good morning Maria.
Lio Luis
Good morning Maria.
Maria Nanny
Your Dad is waiting for you at the dining table. Shall we go.
Lio & Rio said Yes at the same time. They both rushed towards the dining table.
Rio Luis
Good morning Dad.
Lio Luis
Good morning Dad.
They were excited to see their dad and were happily shouting and ran towards Ethan to hug him.
Ethan saw his kids running towards him and stood up to hug them. Lio and Rio hugged his dad and were laughing with joy.
He twirled each of them in the air for some time and made them sit on the chairs.
Ethan Luis
Common, let's eat, and I will drop you to the school.
Lio and Rio were 5 yrs old and were attending the kindergarten.
Lio Luis
Dad, are you not going to the office today?
Ethan Luis
I will go after I drop you at school. I didn't spend time with you last night as I was busy, so I want to send you to school by myself and spend some time with you.
Rio is not talkative like Lio so he just smiled at his dad.
They had their breakfast and left in their car to the kindergarten.
Ethan Luis
So, how is school?
Lio Luis
Good dad, I have made a lot of friends but Rio doesn't talk to anyone.
Rio was just listening to their conversation and was silent.
Ethan Luis
Rio, son why don't you talk to others and make friends. That way you can have a lot of fun at school. If you don't make friends, life becomes boring.
Rio Luis
Everyone always talks about their mom and how good she is to them. I don't have a mom and I can't talk to them, and I don't like to talk to them.
Ethan Luis
Thinking deep about his ex-wife.(I wish she was with us, but she chose not to be with us, I’m sorry kids)
Lio Luis
Dad, is our Mom dead?
Ethan didn't know what to answer. Even if he says that she is alive, why didn't she come to meet them even once.
Ethan Luis
Kids we are divorced. You are 5 now, and I know you understand the meaning of divorce. We cannot be together.
Ethan Luis
She has gone to another country, and will never come back. However, I am always there with you, I love you both a lot and will do anything possible for you guys to be happy.
Ethan Luis
Let's not worry too much about her Ok.
What about an ice cream treat tonight?
Lio Luis
Yehhhhhhhhhh……….. I am in Dad.
Rio Luis
Me too(Thinking of his mother whom he didn't even get a chance to meet once)
Ethan Luis
That's like my boys.
Ethan left the kids at school and drove towards the hospital.
