The Runner

Kristin had decided to take a staycation and rented a room for five nights in a prestigious hotel.
She deserved a vacation. she'd been working three years straight without taking and she'd been feeling a little burnt out.
.
So here she'd was on her third night loving it, even though she was by herself, she was having a lot of fun.
Kristin had gone to see a movie.
Yup, the hotel had everything. She didn't have to go a place.
John Wick 2 was showing and it was going really good but she had to visit the toilet.
After getting some annoyed looks and mumbles as she made her way out, blocking the screen, she went down the corridor to the toilets.
Humming a tune Kristin walked into the toilet and came to an instant halt, mouth gaping taking in the scene.
One guy was slumped between the legs of another, who was over him, holding his upper body up, gun in hand.
The guy was obviously dead. She didn't think a person could survive their brains being blown all over a room.
Another guy stood in front of them all rumpled and bloodied glaring at her with a fierce look.
"Get her!" The one holding the gun and the dead guy yelled and she took off running

Kristin never ran out a room so fast
She ran back into the cinema because they'd definitely catch up with her if she tried to run out
She looked for an empty section. She wasn't going to break anybody's leg trying to rush into the occupied ones
She ducked down infront of the seat and peeped to see if they were coming
They just rushed in and tucked the gun into their jackets and started walking down the isles.
Her knees started to shake watching them walking down, checking the seats
Please, please don't let them come this far
To her relief they didn't
Kristin watched them walk back out
She was not leaving until the show was done and everybody was walking out.
She'd hide among the crowd just in case they were waiting for her
It was the most anxious she had ever felt as she waited for the show to finish
Every minute she was looking back at the doorway

When the movie was over, she spotted a single guy walking out.
To look a little different she let down her hair, took off her cardigan and stuffered it in her bag and then approached the guy
She looped her arms in the guy's own
The guy watched her like if she was crazy and tried to tug his arm away
Kristin
Some bad guys may be waiting outside for me
Kristin
I just want you to pretend to be with me. Pretend to be my boyfriend.
Kristin
Let's pretend to talk
While they walked she decided to ask him some questions. He was a really good-looking guy. She had to admit.
He didn't ask for hers, but she still told him while glancing nervously at the door
