When one thinks of their childhood what comes to their mind first? Love? Warmth?
All that comes to my mind is darkness..
18 years of my life I have spent in the darkness. My mom forbade me to ever leave the grounds of my previous home.
Her motive was to protect me. But the methods were too cruel. She would always lock me up in a dark shady room. One good thing about my childhood is that there was a big blossom tree in the garden.
I used to swing with it's branches often to pass my time. That is the only good memory I have of my childhood...
Until a few months ago, a mom passed away. With her death it opened a new door in my life. A door to freedom!
A door which leads me towards the sunlight. Now I am free. I can do whatever I want and fulfill my dreams.
With the help of my neighbors I got my an admit form for the most prestigious institution of the country.
I hope I get admitted to this college. I want to be free and live my life. And this is the doorway to my freedom...
I got off the taxi and looked at the huge campus of Cambridge High. It was magnificent and something I had never imagined in my life.

She was sitting on the window side desk which was facing the back side garden. Her eyes fell on a man who was sleeping peacefully.
Her eyes sparkle as she got an idea. Immediately she grabbed her bag and sketch book then rushed towards the garden.
She took very slow steps as if she was walking on thin ice. Not wanting to cause any hindrance she reached a safe distance from him.
Sharp nose, very sturdy muscles. I analysed him thoroughly. He has such a beautiful face!
A perfect jawline and thin sharp lips. His hair is a bit... fine? But since he's asleep I couldn't see his eyes. But he has such beautiful eye lashes. Long and thick.
Then I saw his hands. He had so many tattoos on his knuckles. And a ring in his finger. I peeked on his ears which was pierced only on one side.
How can someone have such beautiful body definitions? It's as if... gods have personally made his face so flawless and attractive.
What am I thinking! Shut up Naomi! Focus on your work! I started to make the painting. Occasionally I would peek at him either for the details or to check if he's awake.
I finished the portrait. My hands were covered in color so was my shirt with stains of color.
But the time and effort was worth it. Come to think of it... this is one of my best works. Maybe the model is very pretty?
But... won't he be angry that I stole his face? Without his permission?.... Hmm...
