Hi, my name is Ema, I am 25 years old. I come from KI country, a beautiful exotic country with so many wonderful islands and cultural. My father is just a lower manager in a company because he is work for more than 30 years so

they gave him the manager title, my mom is just a household wife try to raise her kids with a lot of love and I have a big brother who works as a supervisor in an international company, just as a supervisor. We only live in a small house, our own house, small but so warm with love. My daddy even struggles to pay the tuition expense so I need to work as a part-timer here and there, but still, I want to chase my dream to work in a K country, to have experience there, a new challenge, a new life! It is not I didn’t love to be here, but life is so boring when you don’t have challenges and for me... I make my own challenges.

After I finishing my bachelor's degree in the most famous university in KI country, I work hard to get into S university (one of the best university in K country) to MBA title. Thanks to God that I study hard for my bachelor's degree so I get a great GPA and finishing in 3years, so I can easily get work and saving for my next plan. After 3 years with 3 times try out University S’ incoming test, I was accepted! But still have to study the K language for 3months before I got permitted to fly here.

I am quite tall 168cm and 58kg not thin, right? But I am in the fit category, I have muscle (proud) not from the gym program, but I just like the sports activity. I have long black hair and brown eye. As for love... I don't have much experience. First is when I am at school with my senior and second in the collage with my classmate but those don't work well. I am not as pretty as an actress but I am quite a confident with myself.

“Finally I am here!” I whisper to my own self

After working so hard, I get a scholarship in university S from dad’s company. Leaving my comfort zone in her KI country. Now, this is my first time for her to step on into this country, with no friend, no relative, and know no one. I directly go to S University and doing some administration and then I directed into the dormitory.

“Hi! Are you my roommate?” a girl with a petit figure and purple hair talking, “My name is SuJin, Song SuJin from Art Design Department”

“Hi! I am Ema, Emalia Gunawan from Business Administration” looks like she is a nice girl... a cheerful girl with an attractive style

“Hey, are you a foreigner? Is this you’re only belonging?”

“Hmm… Yes! I am from KI country, and yes I only bring this suitcase”

SuJin is shocked to hear Ema’s answer. When SuJin brings 3, Ema only brings 1 suitcase. We are talking all day then Ema arranges her wardrobe and we become good friend thanks to SuJin cheerfulness.

SuJin is the only child in her family, she comes from a rich family but she decided to chase after her dream, to become a top designer that’s why she rejects her father wish to continue her family business. After she finishes her bachelor's degree, she dyed her hair into lavender and goes here. So basically she is 3 years younger than me. Her open mind, freewill, and fluency in English make us get close easily.

“Ema, let’s go eat! I'm hungry”

“Me too! Where? Don’t take me to the expensive place. I only have 2 months' cover expense and now I remember I need to look for a part-time job” (sigh) “Do you know where to get it?”

“Let’s talk later. I am really starving now. I will treat you if you don't have enough money” she complained

SuJin brings me to the café near our dorm. After they got their meal, and sit they continue their conversation

“mmm the easiest is a waiter in the restaurant, flyer passer or a cashier market” thinking “But what do you prefer? You can be translator" she gives some ideas

“Hei, my K language is not good. Remember I just learn for 3months”

A man coming and kiss Sujin’s cheek “Hi, Babe. How is your moving?”

“Has been 2days and you just asking now!” she pout and slow punch to him, “Ema is helping me to organize”

“Ups I forgot. Ema this is SunHo, Kim SunHo, my boyfriend”, and “Babe, this is my roommate, Ema. She is from KI country”

“We are planning to go there this Christmas, right, Babe?” SunHo reminding her

“Ah you are right! Are you going home this Christmas? Mmm and be our guide?”

“I don’t know if I can. Remember, I lack saving and I am looking for a part-time job”

“Part-time?” SunHo is thinking, “Do you want to be a private tutor? My aunt is looking for a tutor for my cousin and she also gives a big pay”

“Wooaaa! Wait wait! Your cousin? That cousin? No way! I disagree!” SuJin shouts, “I won’t let Ema get into a lion cave. Are you crazy offering it to Ema? Even if Ema has some tutor experience but for that boy! NO WAY! NO! WAY!”

“Ok Ok, babe. Calm down. Let’s go around here, I bet Ema is not yet to go around” SunHo distracting the conversation, but SuJin is still upset.

“Can you give me your aunt's contact?” I ask SunHo when SuJin is distract

“Sure. Save my number, I will give you her number later”

Actually I still consider it is a good chance. Fewer work hours, and more income. It just I don’t know how hard school exams here and SuJin reaction about SunHo’s cousin... How bad is that boy? Well maybe I need to look for another job first

It’s been 1month but I cannot find a good part-time! One rejects because I have a bad K language, another reject me because I don’t have flexible time, and another reject because I am too dark. Urgh! This company is physically abusing!) I like to have activation under the sun, so my skin is a little darker than usual girl here (maybe as dark as my favorite singer, Hyolyn, and I proud to be like her). I don’t want to accept SunHo’s offering also! SuJin totally offends it and I don’t wanna fight with her! For this month, almost all my meal expense cover by her (and SunHo but it because I go with SuJin) and… meal expenses here are a lot higher than my prediction.

“SuJin, do you still disagree with me to be a tutor?” I desperately try to convince her

“Yes! You don’t know how bad that boy is! He is like a creature from hell undercover into a boy!”

“What? SuJin you are overreaction! He just a teenage boy. I have tutored some bad boy before and they did well after” “And I don’t want to always depend on you. I need to get my own money. I will be here for more than 1.5years. How can I ask you for food all the time?”

“Urg, are you sure you want to try to be his tutor? I am not worried about the lesson or exams it’s not as hard as your incoming test, your major is dam killer but it just THE BOY! Oh God, I hope a miracle, He change this boy into just A LITTLE BIT as a normal boy” I just chucked and give a kitten face when she looks at me, “Urggh, ok. I agree with 1 condition! Just quit directly when he gives you a hard time! Especially with your personal mater”

“Deal, my princess!” I grab her hand with happy and directly call SunHo’s aunt to get an appointment

THE NEXT DAY IN SUNHO’s AUNT HOUSE

“Hi, Dear. I am Kang Min’s mother, SunHo’s aunt, here they call me Mrs. Park but you can call me aunty” Mrs. Park say friendly. Mrs. Park is so pretty with a great shape in her age. She looks like a 30 years old lady with a grand house as her background portrait

“Hi, aunty. My name is Ema. I am studying at S university”

“Yes Yes! SuJin call me yesterday. You are majoring in business. I cannot imagine how smart you are. It’s really hard to get there, moreover, you get a scholarship. Almost everyone who graduated from that major has a big name in this country, and Kang Min’s father also graduated from there” Mrs. Park smiling proud of her own husband “So don’t worry. Kang Min also smart, it just… he got distracted” then she continued “When you can start, Ema?”

“If it possible, tomorrow? Two times a week”

“Ok ok. Kang Min has no other activity after school”

I take 4 of his textbook and I see there is like a special book, looks like a rotten book but I can see he still use it so I put that book back (but it looks a girl diary) while the other book is still like a new book. His notebook is like a drawing book for a kinder garden. Great!
