In the distant kingdom of Valeria, there is a protective mountain range on the boundaries of the kingdom. This range, known as The Splintered Spire, provides a barrier against the wild creatures and enemies who seek to invade the fertile lands of the kingdom. In the Splintered Spire live a variety of creatures, some benevolent and some dangerous. Beyond the range lies a deep, dark forest, filled with secrets and ancient secrets and mysterious creatures.
At the center of the kingdom lies a grand castle, ruled over by a wise, benevolent monarch. This ruler has held the kingdom in a perpetual state of peace and prosperity since before memory.
The kingdom is divided into four distinct provinces. In the north, lies the province of Aestra, the home of the Elves. To the south lies the province of Carossa, home to the Dwarves. In the West lies the province of Correna, the kingdom of Men. And in the East lies the province of Erwan, the land of the Halflings.
Each province has its own unique culture, customs, and traditions, although all four share a common language and value the same basic laws.
Adventurers are a common sight in the land, with villains and outlaws always looking for new places and ways to commit mischief. But the vigilant citizens of the kingdom always manage to keep these criminals in check.
The citizens of this kingdom have lived in peace and prosperity for generations, thanks to the protection of its mountain range. Now, strange and powerful forces are stirring beyond the walls of the kingdom and the citizens must band together to protect the land they love.
Recently, nefarious reports of a new, terrifying creature have spread throughout the provinces. This creature, known as a Daemetul, is said to be larger and more powerful than any beast that has ever been seen. Standing at least twenty feet tall, it is covered in thick, black scales and it has four powerful arms ending in razor-sharp claws. It can spew streams of molten lava from its mouth and is said to be able to summon forth hellish hordes of demons and elementals to defend it.
The Daemetul is said to be laying waste to villages and settlements throughout the land. No one is safe, and no one knows where this creature came from and what its ultimate goal is. Even the bravest adventurers and greatest spellcasters seem unable to do anything to stop it.

One of the Lords from Aestra spoke up about the mysterious hero, claiming to have seen him fighting off the hordes of demons with a blade of powerful and eldritch energy. Upon hearing this, the King's interest was piqued and he called for reports from all provinces.
The gathered leaders reported massive swarms of demons attacking villages, laying waste to them, and fleeing with the same swiftness they had come. "Who dares sit on my throne and disturb the peace of court?"
The mysterious figure stood up and revealed himself to be the one they sought.
"I am the one that you seek, King of Valeria. I come to deliver a warning to you and your people. An ancient evil, known as Daemetul, is coming. With him comes an army of demons. If you do not prepare and be ready, the darkness that your Kingdom now finds itself in will be nothing in comparison to what is to come."
The mysterious figure paused briefly to allow everyone time to absorb his words. He then cleared his throat and resumed.

We must make haste; a formidable challenge awaits us in the Splintered Spire in the coming three days. I want the bravest and strongest of your province’s warriors to send them in Splintered Spire. Is there any question?"
The leaders looked at each other for a moment, before finally nodding their heads in agreement. “Very well,” said the King. “We shall send them on that day.
