Let's start with the character introduction.
Makyla Patricks
Is currently paralyzed and depends on a nurse for any simple movement
Is married to Henry and has a daughter who is currently in her teenage years
Does not remember anything about her past but loves her current life and depends on the stories told by her husband and daughter to gather information about her past
Henry Patricks
Is the CEO of one of the most prestigious company i. the country
Has a wife and daughter that he loves dearly
Is overprotective and possessive towards his wife
Spends most of his time with his wife and helps with her recovery
Janice Patricks
19 years old
Daughter to Makyla and Henry
Is a student in a prestigious university
Loves her parents but spends most of her time with her mom and tries to help with her recovery
Does not have friends in school as she is introverted
Does not like sharing about her personal life
These are some of the main characters but not all of the characters.
I will be giving character intros any time a new character is added.
and now without any further ado let's start the story....
In a room with various medical equipments
Makyla Patricks (mc)
*laying on the bed while the nurse runs tests in her*

I feel fine. I don't know why you are doing so many tests on me😅
Laura (nurse)
I'm just following orders ma'am 😂 and yes everything does look fine but still don't strain yourself too much your muscles still need to adjust so that you can be able to move again.
Makyla couldn't help but smile after hearing that she could be able to move. For her, she wouldn't term it as again because it will be the first time she will experience how it feels to finally walk around.
Since she woke up from her 5 years coma she still doesn't remember anything about her past. Who she is, how she was, where she came from, what she went through and generally anything about herself.
This frustrated her more than anything even though her husband and daughter tell her all she wants to know she is still unsatisfied with the fact that she has to believe the words of others and still not remember any of those experiences.
Makyla was still lost in hers thoughts that she didn't notice someone getting in the room
Henry Patricks (ml)
Honey what are you thinking about? *asks while holding her hand sitting at one end of the bed*
Makyla Patricks (mc)
*flinched* Ooh... nothing Henry. When did the nurse leave?
Henry Patricks (ml)
A while ago.*chuckles* what were thinking about that you didn't notice her leave.

Just how happy it would be if I was able to walk ☺️ I am really happy that am making progress

Ooh.. is there anything particular you want to do after you recover?
Makyla Patricks (mc)
Yeah.. I would like to walk around the garden that Janice talks about every time she tells me there are beautiful flowers but honestly I just want to see bees. *saying while smiling broadly*
Henry Patricks (ml)
*expression drastically changes to gloomy* Bees? Why bees. I thought you'd be excited to see the flowers
Makyla Patricks (mc)
Bees always go to beautiful flowers only don't you agree? I just want to see which flower they value the most and which they neglect.
Henry Patricks (ml)

💭*I really thought that after she wakes up she would change but it seems that some of her old habits will always remain with her. All I can pray is that she doesn't remember her past.* *clenches fist* 💭*I wouldn't want her to go through that pain again*

Hey are you alright? Are you stressed about work again?
Henry Patricks (ml)
No I am just a little bit tired but everything at work is good don't worry. *caressing her cheek with his thumb*
Henry Patricks (ml)
Do you want to exercise your body a bit. The doctor says it is good for you.
Makyla Patricks (mc)
Honestly no ....I just exercised with the nurse and I feel exhausted right now. Let me rest a bit then we will do it again.

mmmh *drifting to sleep because of the meds she took earlier*

*Gently rubs her head watching her drift to sleep*

Henry stays with her watching her sleep as he silently cries.
Someone lightly knocks and sits beside him caressing Makyla's other hand

Dad.. What if she remembers everything? What's going to happen?
Henry Patricks (ml)
Nothing will happen sweetheart. She is strong and understanding she will be able to walk through this just like how she did before any of this happens
suddenly Makyla starts whimpering and crying while struggling to move her body
Makyla Patricks (mc)
stop... please stop *crying* please... hic...hic
Henry Patricks (ml)
*pulls her into his embrace patting her head gently* It's okay... I am here... no one is going to hurt you again.
Janice Patricks (ml and mc daughter)
*slowly injects something into Makyla's arm while crying* Am sorry mom... you didn't have to go through all this. Why can't we just be happy as a family? It hurts seeing you like this.
Makyla eventually calms down and stops crying and struggling.
Henry lays her back down and tucks her in bed
Henry Patricks (ml)
*to Janice* Let's let her rest now.... she should be fine now until morning
Janice Patricks (ml and mc daughter)
*nods in agreement and slowly stands and starts to leave*
Janice Patricks (ml and mc daughter)
*looks back at her mother laying helplessly on the bed and could no longer control her tears*
The daughter and father duo leave the room and head to their respective rooms

Please I beg you don't do this to me 😭😭 I promise I will be a good mother. I will raise my child to my level best, but please don't take away my child from me. Please don't replace me from her life

The conversation keeps repeating itself like a loop in Makyla's dream. As if it's trying to encode itself into her brain make sure she never forgets it l.
In the morning the following day
Makyla opens her eyes to see Henry smiling brightly at her holding a plate of food
This is one of the things she always woke up to and is already used to
1. Open her eyes to find Henry smiling at her lovingly and feed her breakfast
2. Janice barging in and hugging her tightly before leaving for school
3. The nurse coming to administer her progress and give her her meds
4. Henry feeds her her meds and leaves to work after giving her a peck on her lips

*Taking her meds while staring at the door as if waiting for someone*

Henry? ... where is Janice? she normally comes in my room around this time
Henry Patricks (ml)
Ooh ....she asked me to tell you she will be leaving early today because of an exam but she will come early with some of her classmates for discussion

*wiping her lips with a towel*

Baby... You do remember that today is the day you'll start using your wheelchair right?

OMG... It's today? *excited* How can I forget? Is the wheelchair here already? Can I see it? Am I allowed to move around the house now? Tell me...tell me. *looks like a little kid bursting with excitement*

Yes my dear wife you will be able to move around the house but only after you are able to control the wheelchair by yourself

The nurse finally comes in pushing an electric wheelchair

It has arrived sir *says while placing it at the side of the bed*

*looking at it with glowing eyes and excitement* Help me get on it

*chuckles* *Gently lifts her and carefully places her on the wheelchair*

*looking at his face while remembering the dream she had at night*

*is it him? No it can't be him, the man in my dreams sounds different from him he was rude and his voice full of hatred but Henry loves me and talks to me kindly. I am really curious about who that person is because it feels like he is the reason I am like this*
Henry proceeds to teach her how to operate the wheelchair and Makyla learns to operate it in no time
Henry just sits and watches her determined face as she moves around her room trying to figure out the contols

As Makyla finally grasped and understood the controls (after bumping into walls and almost everything in her room) Henry decided to take her out of the room to show her around the house
he took her to the ground floor where the living room is
all this time Henry is explaining everything like a realtor to a potential client and this made Makyla giggle at his cute behavior
