Ria’s POV

My name is Ria, I’m from America , I got married to Greyson ... he is from Thailand , it was love at first sight , it’s sad that he is no more , I was just seven months pregnant when Greyson had an accident, I am blessed with twins ,, Rain and Raina , since Greyson left us feeding hasn’t been easy ,, As a mother I want what is best for my children .. We live in a tiny apartment, I work as a nanny,, Although we don’t have much, I try each day to provide for my son and daughter,, providing them with good education is what their father has always wanted, I haven’t paid thier school fees yet , I believe things will get better, years fly by so fast , I can’t believe they will turn seven soon ... I want to get them a cake and cuddle them forever. They are my world ha ha ha ,, it’s time to wake them up ...

Wakey wakey ,, I called out to my babies, why are you guys still in bed huh , its time for school, I said.. but mom we don’t wanna go to school they said,, hugging me tightly, my sweet children ,, you both need to attend school, so Rain and Raina can be the smartest.. I said giving them a serious look, okay mommy your wish is our command , they said .. I gave them a light kiss on their forehead (they are everything to me) it’s time to take a shower, get up both of you ... mommy I hope we are taking spaghetti to school.. Raina asked , of course love I replied,.. I packed their lunch and got them ready for school.

Raina’s POV

Coming to school was always so exhausting for me and Rain .. we only came because mommy forced us to,, I can’t wait to be a grown up so I can take care of my brother,, and provide for mommy as well .. lost in thought .. I felt someone tapping my shoulder,, you are sitting here while your brother got into a fight outside.. I got up from my sit , ran outside to see, my brother pinned to the ground,.. Hey don’t hurt my brother , I pushed the boy away making him fall so hard... Rain are you okay ,, Why did you come here Raina ,, I’m here to help you I said ... I don’t want you to get in trouble because of me Rain said .. staring at me. The principal approached us looking furious, three of you to my office now !! We got up from the ground and headed to her office. Mrs Pat called our parents .. in no time our parents arrived*(Pov ends)

Ria’s (Pov)

I got a call from the school , my children got into a fight , I hope they are alright , I took permission from work and rushed to school.

Good afternoon Ma , I greeted while rushing into the office , we don’t need your greetings the principal replied ..I looked around for my babies ,, they are not here .,, the principal said, staring at me harshly ,, how can you raise such brats ,, I was about to yell at the principal , when someone knocked.. May I come in.. yes Mr steel, please have a seat, the principal replied..

I turned around to see a tall handsome man , he came close and sat beside me ,, He introduced himself as Dane’s father .. the same boy Rain got into a fight with , it’s nice to meet you sir ,, same here he chuckled. So your kids are the reason I called both of you here, the principal said ,,, they are causing trouble, Mr steel I respect you very much I know Dane is not to blame , but Rain is .... i interrupted her , what are you trying to say.. that my child is not well trained,, I yelled feeling agitated, why won’t he be trouble ,, You are a foreigner.. your husband is not in the picture anymore ,, yet you don’t know how to take care of your children ..

This is Thailand we try our best to make sure that children are well behaved , I was speechless for a moment ... how dare you disrespect my late husband like that ,, my Rain and Raina are my pride ,, they are well behaved, this has got nothing to do with me being a foreigner.. we argued for a while before Mr steel interrupted ** Mrs Pat how do we settle this dispute .. is it money? Yes Mr steel , take this briefcase everything in there is yours .. I stared at this Man .. wow some people still have money to throw away like this ,, i was thinking about my children ,, Mrs Pat came close to me and whispered, you should be thankful , Mr steel has cleared your debt or else I would have expelled those brats of yours, get out of my office , I sighed feeling defeated and useless .. if not for him my children wouldn’t get to come to school , I decided to thank him outside the office ,, I waited for him ( fast forward )

Oh you are still here he said .., yes umm I want to thank you for today ,, I will pay you back at the end of the month I promise ,he giggled .. well instead of paying me back ,, why don’t we have dinner at my restaurant tomorrow .. he said smiling ,, I couldn’t say no , he is such a kind man , of course I would love to have dinner with you sir . It’s steel , call me steel , oh nice to know you steel .. I’m Ria , I said while shaking his hands ,, well do you mind if we exchange contacts he asked .., umm sure .. we exchanged contacts and said our goodbyes , I was grinning from ear to ear , I went to the classroom to pick up Rain and Raina (Pov ends)

Mommy mommy , Rain and Raina called out to me , oh sweet hearts are you hurt ,,mommy that boy tried to hurt Rain , Raina said .. giving me a sad expression,, is that why you helped him ,, yes mommy I can’t let anyone bully my brother ,, sweet heart I know you will always be there to protect your brother .. but you must understand that violence doesn’t solve a problem.. I know mummy and I’m sorry .. it’s okay my love,, I looked at Rain who had gone quiet ,,like he wanted to cry .. my sweet Rain, I gave him a tight hug , it’s okay mommy is here ..it’s okay to cry at times ..mommy that boy said my daddy doesn’t love me ,, he said sobbing uncontrollably... my baby, you know that is not true .. daddy is in heaven watching over us .. he loves you and Raina so much .. I’m here for both of you okay .. I cleaned his tears and pecked his cheek .. you will never leave us right mommy .. said Rain .. I’m not going anywhere,, he looked at me and smiled ,, I’m not gonna cry anymore .. I am strong and I will be big one day so I can protect you and Raina .. he said ,hey I’m the first born Rain don’t ever forget that ,, is that so Raina, you are just older with ten minutes Rain said , yeah that’s a lot of time to kick your butt ,, That’s enough both of you ,, I said in a low tone ,,you both should understand it’s not about who is first ,, promise me that you will always be there for one another, we promise mommy .. they said in unison ,, My babies ,, who wants to go home and eat chicken Rice ,, me me yay ,, they said giggling ,, Alright let’s book a cab **

I made sure they had their bath , served them dinner and put them to bed , while singing a lullaby, I got a phone call 📞oh steel is calling .. i quietly got out of the room and went to the parlour .. hello , hi Ria how are you doing , I’m good steel , how’s Dane doing .. he is alright,, just called to remind you about our dinner tomorrow ... oh I have to discuss it with my children first , I said .. the line got quiet for a while , steel are you there ,, yes sorry was just thinking ,, you can bring them along ,, they can stay in my house and get to patch things up with Dane , what do you think , okay that’s a good idea , I will let them know and then get back to you. Alright Ria ,, take care of yourself , you too steel , good night, the line got disconnected, I sighed , how will Rain and Raina handle this ,,, it’s just dinner, they won’t object ***

The ****next day

Rise and shine my babies it’s the weekend.., ughh Mom please let us sleep .. Rain said struggling to get up ..come on both of you .. we have to tidy the house today , we have a place to visit in the evening , saying that they suddenly got up ,, looking at me like I had stolen thier candy ,, what do you mean Mom ? Raina asked ,, they were obviously so smart at thier age,, well I decided to be honest with them ,, you guys remember the boy Rain got into a fight with ,, I asked .. waiting for my kids to reply ,, yes we remember.. they said in unison , well you see his name is Dane and his father asked me to have dinner with him , I just want to appreciate him for paying your fees ,,that’s all , Are you both okay with it, I asked looking at my six year olds .. why do you have to ask us first Mom, Rain said ,, well I want you both to be okay with it ,, I replied, Mommy we don’t have a problem with Dane’s father, Raina said holding my hand , yes mommy as long as he is a good person and he won’t hurt you , i and Raina want you to be happy ,, I looked at them and gave them a tight hug ,,Thank you sweethearts I love you both so much .. we love you too Mummy ••

Ria’s (POV)

I already fed Rain and Raina , I also made sure they had their bath, I called Mr steel and he told me that his driver would come pick us up at 6pm.. I felt nervous and excited at the same time ,, well it’s just dinner, no need to be so worried .

It was finally 6pm , I heard the doorbell ring .. I went outside to find an elderly man standing before me .. Good evening ma’am I was sent by Master steel to come pick you up he said ... umm Good evening , please wait a for a moment, let me get my children , I said ,, he nodded , while I walked away . Rain , Raina are you guys ready, yes mommy they replied, I led them to the car , we got in and drove off.

Forty Five minutes Later ..

we arrived at a Mansion, mommy this house is so big , Rain exclaimed .. of course it is ,, we haven’t even gone inside yet , I teased him a little , The driver drove in, leading us inside .. the children were so excited , I saw Steel smiling at me (POV ends)

Steel’s (POV)

I finally found the woman, that would be a mother to Dane, she’s so beautiful, I can’t wait to marry her , I watched my driver drive In with Ria and her kids..she has to be mine .. hmm for a short while of course .

Wow Ria , you look lovely as usual, I said .. giving her a tight hug ,thank you steel, Aren’t you guys gonna say hi to me.. I said looking at her children, oh good evening sir, they said In unison , ha ha evening how are you both doing today ,, we are alright, they giggled, Um Cindy .. yes sir , make sure Rain and Raina are comfortable, while I have dinner at the restaurant with my queen.. of course sir , Cindy replied (POV ends )

Ria’s (POV)

Rain, Raina are you guys gonna be okay ? I asked my little babies, of course mom... Raina replied , yes mom we will be okay , just go and have fun Rain said ,, Alright sweethearts be good ,, I hugged them before leaving with steel , I felt worried if they were gonna be okay , but then steel reassured me that they are in good hands**

Steel took me to his restaurant, I must admit .. the restaurant is cozy and welcoming , I couldn’t stop smiling , wow I love it here , i said ,, well I’m glad my queen is enjoying herself , please take a look at the menu and order anything you want ,, he said.. I chuckled , taking a look at the menu , things were so expensive , hmm I will take the minced pork salad, I said.. looking at steel , he is so gorgeous,, waiter I will have what my queen is having and add a bottle of red wine to it , of course sir , i stared at his beautiful hazel eyes , wondering how he could be so gentle and kind . Steel I called.. yes Ria , do you mind if I get to know you better, I asked , of course not Ria , that’s why we are here , Steel held my hand looking at me with sincerity.. hmm okay . I want to know , what happened to your wife? Hmm , well she died of cancer last year .. he said avoiding eye contact , I’m so sorry Steel , it’s okay Ria .. I just want what’s best for my son, I want a woman who can raise Dane in a good way , and that person is you my queen. I looked at Steel puzzled ,, what are you saying Steel , we just met.. how can I be a mother to Dane. I know it’s sudden, honestly it’s you I want , please marry me , I promise to make Rain and Raina happy , he said .. I was speechless .. I barely know Steel I can’t just agree like that .. lots of emotions flowing in my head ,, I can’t marry you Steel , please stop this , I said , hoping he would throw away this idea ,, Ria it doesn’t matter how long it takes.. Oh the food is here , I watched Steel pour the wine in a glass , why does this man want me ,, my children are all I live for , they come first , I can’t let someone else replace their father ,, I was lost in thought , but I could hear my name from a distance, Ria Ria!!!! yes did you say something, what’s on your mind , you don’t like the food or is it because I asked you to marry me..he said, looking concerned, waiting for my response ,.. oh um it’s not that , I said , taking a bite to eat ,, I choked on my meat , I felt a leg under the table ,, I looked at Steel , what are you doing ? Did you wear panties? He replied answering me with a question, I felt hot all of a sudden , Steel please don’t do this here , I said .. Ria I always get what I want , and right now you are the prize , I must have you , no matter what , let’s eat my queen , I nodded .. swallowing every bite , I wanna go home to my children.. I told him , of course , finish your food ,, we will leave **

Meanwhile ( At the Mansion )

Rain’s(POV)

Raina this mansion is so big ,, they are so many rooms , I said , looking at my sister , who stayed quiet, what’s the matter Raina , Rain I’m scared , she said with tears in her eyes ,, don’t be scared I’m here , and mommy will be back soon , or are you hungry.. I can tell Aunt Cindy to prepare something for you ,, no Rain I’m still full , besides we ate earlier she said .. we are twins but at times it’s hard to read her mind , I wanna cheer her up ,, hmm what to do.. Raina , yes , let me sing a poem for you , ha ha you can’t sing she said .. well for my sister I can try , I said smiling at her ,, okay let me hear it , she nodded a go ahead.

My love, my buddy, my heartbeat , you are my partner in crime, I wanna be with you till the very end , so I can have someone to play with and fight with .. whatever is bothering you , don’t forget you have a brother , that will never leave your side, I love you my Raina ,, Rain and Raina belong together ,, Tada Tada Tada .. ha ha ha

I hugged her , not wanting to let go , did you like the peom I asked her ,, of course I love it , thanks brother for making me smile whenever I’m sad she said , I nodded , it’s not a problem , should I tell you a story , I asked her ,, she was about to say something, when we heard a knock . Who is it, I asked, I saw a boy.. staring at us , oh it’s you Dane come on in, are you okay? I asked , it was you that hit my brother , Apologize to him now , Raina yelled , looking furious.. hey hey stop it Raina , Dane it’s okay we are friends now, I took his hand and told him to say something.. he finally spoke i am sorry for the fight at school , please forgive me , he said looking at Raina , come on sister let’s forgive him I said , fine we forgive you , you can play with us Raina said .. giving Dane a hug , he sudddenly flinched , Raina pulled away instantly, are you okay? we asked looking at him, he had tears in his eyes .. Dane you can tell us , did something happen Raina asked ,,yes but if I tell you , please don’t tell anyone.. Dane said , we promise , we won’t tell anyone , well my father hit me, he said ... shivering in fear ,, we didn’t know what to do or how to react, we just hugged him tightly .. we are here now , we will protect you Dane , I said, he smiled ,, we heard a car drive in , oh mommy is back, Raina .. let’s go , come on Dane*

Heading downstairs I hugged mom , then Raina followed , then Dane ,, can I hug you too Aunt Ria , he asked my mom .. of course love come here .. she hugged him .. Dane didn’t want to let go, mom noticed , umm Steel , I hope you don’t mind but can Dane stay with me tonight , mom asked , waiting for uncle Steel’s response,, I don’t mind , I want Dane to get used to having you around .. he said. Mom smiled .. come on children let’s take a shower and go to bed ,, we left the main hall , heading to the guest room .(POV ends)

Dane’s (POV)

I woke up in the middle of the night feeling restless.. I have to warn Aunt Ria, she can’t marry my Dad,, I got up from my bed and went close to her , shaking her gently ,, Aunt Ria, please wake up .. she got up immediately.. yawning she asked , Dane what’s wrong , I tried to get the words out of my mouth , it was as if I had gone mute ,. For the sake of my friends , I will tell Aunt Ria the truth .. Dane tell me , why are you pale ? What’s the matter ? Aunt Ria!! Please take your children and leave this house , you can’t marry my father , he is a dangerous man please don’t marry him .. but Aunt Ria only giggled ,, Dane my little boy , I know you are scared of your father , but he has a good heart ,, i am thinking of getting married to him after a few months , so I can love you and be your mom , you shouldn’t tell lies my boy .. I’m telling the truth Aunt Ria, please believe me , it’s okay dear, I will talk to your father later today, Everything will be fine okay .. I nodded , come sleep next to me .. she said ,, I obeyed and laid next to her , it was really gentle .. if only Dad would let us be happy , I dozed off feeling weak and useless... (POV ends )

I woke up early, making sure the kids have had thier bath, but when it was time to bathe Dane , he refused, Dane what’s wrong , he stared at me without saying a word.. Dane please don’t worry about anything I just want to be here for you , okay it’s fine , if you want to shower on your own , feel free to do so, but come down for breakfast okay ,, I said ,, expecting his reply ... I was about to leave the room, when I saw Dane taking off his clothes, I was shocked to see scars, bruises all over his body .. he turned to me with teary eyes .. Aunt Ria do you believe me now .. my father is not who you think he is .. please do not marry him ,, he said , slowly taking a step into the shower. I had tears in my eyes ,, Dane is just a child ,, why would steel torture his son like this , I need to find out , if steel is really someone dangerous, I will take my children and get out of here,including Dane ,, I can’t endanger the life of my children .. I went downstairs for breakfast.. my heart beating so fast .

Oh Ria where is Dane .. Steel asked , um he is taking a shower, he will come down when he is done .. Rain , Raina are you both okay , yes mom we are good .. Um Steel we would like to go home today ,, cause the children have school tomorrow, you know it’s the beginning of a new week, I said .. oh Ria you all can move in with me , this mansion is big enough for us ,, he said , giving me a warm smile . I don’t want to be a burden , I said trying to discourage him, Ria you are my queen , you are everything to me ,, children please convince your mother , so we can all be together,, yes mom uncle Steel is right , I want to be by Dane’s side Rain said , please mom Raina said ,, showing me a sad face .
