Prologue

Savannah was busy when she suddenly heard her phone ring, *Ring... Ring..Ring*, "Excuse me for awhile." She said as she grab her phone and went outside to answer it, "Hello?"

"Hey babe? Are you busy?"

"Oh, Baby! Not really i was just checking a patient" she chuckled,

"I just wanna ask you.. if we could go on a date tonight? Are you free?"

"I'll check my schedule." She replied smiling,

"Alright, I'll call you back later. Love you"

"Okay, Bye! Love you too." She hanged up the phone and went back inside. Savannah a 29 year old woman, working as a Psychiatric Technician in a Psychiatrist Hospital Association.

Tatlong oras ang nakalipas ng tumawag ulit si Savannah sa kaniyang Asawa na si Elijah Salvatore, 30 year old man, A surgeon.

"Hello? Babe?" She asked,

"Hello, How's your day?", Elijah replied

"Its fine, nothing new." She responded,

"So are you free for tonight?"

"Yeah, I just checked my schedule and I’m free tonight!" Savannah responded happily,

"Great, Lets meet at home later, Alright?"

"Yes sure!" A smile formed on Savannah's face,

"Bye! See you later babe!" She added

"Alright, bye take care Mi Amor", Elijah said sweetly as he hanged up the call.

Later at evening, Savannah was wearing a beautiful dress with puff sleeves and a pair of heels matching her dress, While Elijah was wearing a dark blue casual suit. Elijah was prepared for this as he was the one who planned for this Romantic yet simple date. When they arrived Elijah stopped her for a moment, "Wait, Mi Amor.." he said, "Why?" Savannah replied confused, Elijah didn't utter a word and just took out his prepared blindfold and used it onto Savannah. "What are you doing?" She asked in confusion, "I wanna surprise you babe" Elijah smiled as he replied, "Oh. Surprise?"

"Yes, don't ask further babe."

After a sec..

"Alright done! Shall we go Mi Amor?" Elijah spoke in a sweet tone, "B-but how can i? When I can't see?" Savannah responded, " Don't worry, I'll guide the way" He replied while a big smile formed on his face.

Elijah escorted the way until he stopped, "Why did you stop?" Savannah asked, "We're here." He said as he removed the blindfold, Savannah was stunned at the venue. It was so beautiful romantic yet so simple set up in a silent beach. Savannah looked at her husband whose smiling happily while he back hugged her, wrapping his arms around her waist

"Did you like it?" He questioned,

"D-did you do all of this?" Savannah asked in surprise,

"Yes, I wanted to surprise you.."

Elijah responded as he put his head on to his wife's shoulder. "I- I didn't know you were this romantic!" She chuckled,

"So did you like it? I had a hard time preparing for this because of work.." he said, "Of course why not! Its so beautiful, I'm so lucky to have you." Savannah replied happily, Elijah smiled in satisfaction when he heard his wife's response. "Shall we go?" He asked, "Lets go!" Savannah answered joyful.

Both hearts are happily contented to each other as they danced together beneath the beautiful full moon. They danced along the romantic music until it stopped, at the end they share a passionate kiss, embracing each other till death do us part..

Savannah and Elijah got married 2 years ago, Although Savannah's mother was against it but she loves her daughter so much that she couldn't bare to see her cry, Savannah Elise D'Velleane is an only child of Ms. Meriam and Mr. David Elise D'Velleane, She grew up in a lavish family while Elijah Salvatore is a Self-made rich, Elijah grew up in a poor family but due to his dedication to his life he successfully made it and graduated college as a Magna *** Laude.

Hindi naging madali ang kanilang pag-sasama dahil sa mag-kaiba ang kanilang katayuan sa buhay, naging isang malaking hadlang ang ina ni Savannah sa kanila sapagkat gusto niya itong makapangasawa ng isang marangyang lalaki, gusto man itong pigilan ng ama ni Savannah ngunit wala siyang magawa. Nag-sama ang dalawa ng patago at hindi ito ipinaalam sa iba, pareho nilang mahal ang isa't isa at alam nila sa sarili na nakatadhana sila, Umaasa sila na balang araw ay maiintindihan rin ng kaniyang ina ang lahat, hindi man gusto ni Savannah na magsinungaling sa ina at suwayin ang kaniyang utos subalit mahal niya si Elijah.. Hindi niya kayang mahiwalay sa kaniya dahil para kay Savannah ay si Elijah ang nakatadhana sa kaniya.

Sa kanilang pagsasama maraming pag-subok ang dumaan, pinilit nilang labanan ito at manatili sa isa't isa hanggang sa huli, naging mahirap para kay Elijah ang pagsubok na ito hindi kailanman niya ginusto na itago ang relasyon nila dahil para sa kaniya gustong gusto niyang isigaw at ipamukha sa Ina ni Savannah na kayang-kaya niyang buhayin at mahalin ang anak niya hanggang sa kaniyang huling hininga.

10 years ago, The time where they kept their relationship in private, Savannah would sneak out of her room to meet Elijah and so that they could spend their night together, Elijah was not allowed to enter the subdivision as Ms. Meriam warned the Securities to not let him enter ever again, Savannah could only sneak out in the middle of the night until the securities fall asleep to get out silently without anyone notice, while Elijah is waiting for her not far away from the subdivision.

They would spend the night together, talk about life, their day, their night, and enjoy every seconds of time. Savannah would go back when the clock hits 4 or 3 o’clock in the morning so that her parents would not suspect anything. When Savannah gets back she immediately went to sleep and hide any evidence she used to not let her parents know or even the maids..

She simply do this every night and Elijah was getting worried for her, he’s worried of Savannah sneaking out just to meet him, even though he loves her so much he also want Savannah to focus on her studies more as she always get up late and having not enough sleep..

“Savannah...?” He asked dismayed

“Yes?” Savannah replied

“I-i..Can we stop this for awhile?” He utter sadly,

“What do you mean?” Savannah got up from his lap and sat down confronting Elijah, “I- I just don’t think this won’t work anymore...You have to focus on your studies more! You can’t even have enough sleep just because you always sneak out at night just to meet me, I feel guilty...I don’t want this to happen but I want you to focus more on your studies, until then when we both graduate we can continue this relationship..” He said as a single tear fell down from his eye,

“D-does this mean, we’re done?...”

Savannah said devastated, Elijah nodded and look down..

“I-i thought we will always be together? ..Didn’t you promise you won’t leave me? Didn’t you promise me! That you would love me! That you will not leave me? Why?” Savannah yelled while tears started streaming down her face,

“I’m sorry. I’m sorry. But your studies is more important...Our relationship is getting in the way, we both need some time...”

Elijah replied also devastated as he wipes Savannah’s tears,

“Please understand me babe. I’m so sorry, I won’t break my promises to you, I swear, but for now we need sometime alright? I promise you, I swear on my name I will pursue you back when we both graduated, when I finally can proudly show your parents that I love you so much and I will do anything for you to be mine. I swear.” He added as he moved his face closer to Savannah and kissed her forehead, Savannah didn’t said anything and just cried.. She was sobbing hardly onto Elijah’s chest gripping his shirt tightly, She doesn’t wanna let go of Elijah, Her beloved.

After sometime Savannah stopped crying and forced herself to agree, Elijah felt sorry for breaking their relationship but he have to. He have to do this in order for them to focus on their studies more and when he can finally have something he can show off her family. He promised to himself that when time comes he will definitely pursue her back whatever it takes.

As time goes by, both are heartbroken especially Savannah, she couldn’t accept the fact that their done.. She feel hatred to her parents especially her mother because of what happened, she knows why Elijah did this. Because of her mother’s strict and revile attitude. She started to distant herself from her mother and would always try to ignore her in every possible way. However Ms. Meriam noticed this act of Savannah, she wants to ask her why is she doing this but she always gets ignored and it make her feel bad and irritated, She loves her daughter so much and couldn’t bare this kind of act of his beloved daughter.

Savannah also started to focus on her studies and avoided any distraction to her studies, She hopes that Elijah would keep his promise once they graduated, Her love for him is so great that she would do anything for him, She understands why do Elijah have to do this and she know that she also have to do something to make her parents agree, she have to proudly show something to them and they would eventually let them be together.

Ms. Meriam is still confused and in despair because of her daughter’s sudden behaviour.

Dahil sa trato ni Savannah sa kaniyang ina ay sinubukan itong kausapin ng kaniyang ama ukol sa kung bakit niya ito ginagawa, Ngunit hindi masabi-sabi ni Savannah ang totoo dahil ayaw niya rin namang malaman nila na tumatakas siya sa gabi upang makita lamang si Elijah, Alam niyang pag-nalaman nila ito ay papagalitan lamang siya at lalong pag-hihigpitan. Hindi na pinilit pa ni Mr. David si Savannah na sabihin ang totoo sapagkat naiintindihan naman niya ang ugali ng anak,

“Elise..I know something happened why are you acting like this towards mother...But i just want to say that your mother has gone through pain also, she couldn’t sleep at all thinking of why are you doing this...She feels bad of how you act towards her, She just wants to protect you and give you the best.” Mr. David said calmly as he embraced her daughter in his arms, Savannah feels guilty for doing this but she just want to be with the man she loves..

“I know baby, your sneaking out and goes to meet your boyfriend” He added

Savannah was shocked to hear this, her father knows what she’s doing?.. She asked him surprised

“Papa? Y-you know about that!??”,

“Of course baby, why would I not? I always see you go out with your boyfriend, Elijah. ”
