CHAPTER 1 : THE WAY THINGS ARE
NARRATOR
The alarm clock goes off ...
Myst Anashi
" Hm? Oh, it's just my alarm clock, what's today again, OH duh the first say of high school, the summer went by so fast it's crazy, other than summer break homework I didn't do much. " Myst says in his head.
MINO ANASHI
" Anashi , are you up yet!? , you don't want to be late on your first day now do you?. " Mino called from downstairs.
Myst Anashi
" Yeah I'm up! , and no I am not going to be late. " Myst said walking downstairs.
MINO ANASHI
" You want one of mom's style baked breakfast cookies? Or do you need cash?. "
Myst Anashi
" Yeah that's fine sis, I was gonna pick up a snack on the way. "
MINO ANASHI
" No worries, I'll eat them all then, and I won't save any. " Mino teases.
Myst Anashi
" Fine by me. " Myst says smiling.
MINO ANASHI
" You have fun and make some friend okay?. " Mino says going in for a hug.
Myst Anashi
" Yeah of course and you stay out of trouble sis!. " Myst says with a laugh.
MINO ANASHI
" Now you, I can't make promises!. " Mino says squeezing one last tome before letting him go.
NARRATOR
Myst begins the long journey to begin the new era called ... school
Myst Anashi
" So I'll be in class 2-A then for the school year huh, I wonder what my classmates will be like. " Myst says examining his schedule.
NARU TAIZECA
" Only time will tell.. And when are you going to learn not to think out loud?. " Naru says creeping up on Myst.
Myst Anashi
" GAH!!, what the Hell Naru... don't scare me like that!, plus where did u come from anyway?. "
NARU TAIZECA
" Down the hallway where else nerd?. "
Myst Anashi
" Yeah you sure I'm the nerd?, anyway what class you got?. "
NARU TAIZECA
" I'm day over at C-12 down the hall and I assume you're here at 2-A?. "
Myst Anashi
" Yea indeed I am, I guess ill see at lunch then?. "
NARU TAIZECA
" Yeah, ill see you at lunch Myst. " Naru says softly.
NARRATOR
The two of them spit ways and head to their classes...
Mrs. Nagazawa
" Well hello there Anashi, welcome to the class of 2-A, you may have any empty seat you like, and you also may chat amongst the others until the rest of the class arrives. "
Myst Anashi
" Yes ma'am. Well okay I'll just take a seat in the back, unnoticed. " Myst says to himself.
NARRATOR
Sooner or later the bell rings and the day soon comes to an end...
Myst Anashi
" Wow, this day went by fast, I guess its always like that on the first day. " Myst says looking up for the first time in hours.
Mrs. Nagazawa
" Hey Anashi, so you think you can stay back for a bit so help me clean up the classroom for tomorrow?. "
Myst Anashi
" Mh, yeah sure what do you need me to do?. " Myst asked.
Mrs. Nagazawa
" Can you set up the chairs for the after school kids and organize any loose papers for me please?. " She asked.
Myst Anashi
" Seems easy enough, ill get right to it. Also will that be all?. "
Mrs. Nagazawa
" Yes that'll be all, thank you!. "
Myst Anashi
" No problem at all. "
NARRATOR
About an hour later myst completes the task at hand, and proceeded to leave when he heard footsteps in the distance...
YUII - CHAN
" Hey Mrs. Nagazawa, I lost my keychain and I believe I had it here last, have you seen it. " Yuki asked.
Mrs. Nagazawa
" No ma'am I have not, but maybe you can ask Myst over there. The teacher says pointing in his direction.
YUII - CHAN
" Oh, Myst is here?, He was so quiet I didn't notice him. " Yuii said within herself.
YUII - CHAN
"Hey myst have you seen a keychain?, its blue and purple. " She then said out loud.
Myst Anashi
" I'm sorry I have not, but ill let you know when I find it. " Myst replies.
YUII - CHAN
" Yeah, that would be amazing, but hey sorry to cut the time short, I have to get home or my mom's going to kill me. Yuii says with a soft smile.
NARRATOR
Myst listened as the sound of her footsteps fade in the distance...
Mrs. Nagazawa
" She's cute isn't she?. " The teacher says breaking the silence.
Myst Anashi
" Oh, yeah sure. " Myst says with an awkward smile.
Mrs. Nagazawa
" Oh c'mon, I see the way you guys looked at each other, the sparkle in her eyes, the glare in yours. " She said grin widening.
Myst Anashi
" I mean she seems really nice and all, she's popular with the guys and girls I mean what's there not to like?, its just that I barely know her and plus, what's someone like her to be around someone like me?. "
NARRATOR
Hell... he'd change the subject if he could .... he wanted to go home.
Mrs. Nagazawa
" Awh, don't say that, I'm pretty sure you have a shot, just have confidence. " She says with a wink.
Myst Anashi
" Nice to know the teachers are matchmakers too. " Myst said in his mind practically bursting with laughter.
