1. Meeting him

Helena Everdeen is a high school student in one of the prestigious school in Hamburg Germany.

She is a daughter of a Driver and a mere housewife, she is no rich kid, she only went to this school because of her excellent grades. She is one of the lucky applicant who able to grant a scholarship from the school.

Because of her family status and being known as a ‘scholar only’ girl Helena is prone to be bullied in the school. Since it’s a school full of Elite children she really doesn’t belong there.

One day, the level of bullying of her classmates to her become profoundin the sense that they treat her as a totally trash, and no one dare helped her, and it’s because of Adriana Howard the girl who always starts a fight with her, The total brat of Howard Academy, well she's obviously the daughter of the owner of the school that's why she is free to do what she might.

Adriana and she are often fighting for the number one spot of the most excellent student in Howard academy, and because Helena is born genius she always takes the number one spot, that triggers to Adriana to bully her for stealing the limelight from her.

" Beggar! Go back to swamp where you belong" her classmate said. She can’t fight back , she is aware of how big people are in her school. she is just a nobody no one will protect and be on her side if everything went wrong, so Helena choose to be silent and welcome all the insult her classmates is throwing at her.

“you stinky creature , we hope you die and vanish from Adriana’s way, you good for nothing beggar.” She bite her lips to cease her tears from coming out. She just have to endure it. She came to this school to study hard. So she has to endure everything.

“get out of here, you disgusting girl” she can’t take it anymore.

she just run towards the woods crying and sobbing , the woods became her comforter, at least no one can hear her there, no one can dictate her what to do ,no one well criticize and judge her.

Life is so un fair to her all she wants is to be successful so that he can help her parents who work hard for her future she wants to repay them , but why? What did she do to deserve this?

She just sob in front of a big rock when she felt someone is coming towards her, she lift her head and saw a tall , black haired and handsome guy in front of her, handling her a blue handkerchief . The guy looks like an anime character she watched before, his eyes that has the colour of an emerald stone is staring at her attentively . The guy is wearing a faded jeans , blue t-shirt and a pair of how can she say this.. a pair of muddy shoes, in short this guy looks like a beggar to her, but then his clothes doesn't give justice to his good looking face.

"thank you" she said, the guy just smile at her and sat beside her. She's not sure if this guy is a German or what, because his features is more like a prince that lives in the palace of England. Well that is if he dressed like a prince.

"I saw you, why are you crying?" he softly asked , somehow this guy makes her feel comfortable , she just smile and start to talk, at least there is someone who she felt secure, someone who can listen to her problems and annoying circumstances.

Helena can’t stop looking at the guy’s handsome face "ahahahha!!" he laugh as hard as he can, and damn his laughing face makes her blushed.

"why are you laughing? Did I say something funny?" she asked Spade the guy who become her friend 4 hours ago. She don't know why, but she is comfortable with Spade. Something is telling her to trust him, he is not just handsome he is kind ,sweet, and very fun to talk too.

"hahaha nothing it’s just that, it’s funny your life looks like fairy tale I've read ." he commented when Helena told him her story.

"you read fairy tale? How childish of you? you're so masculine to read such a thing" she laugh at him she can't believe there's still a guy who read fairy tales.

"well yes, I just found it in the house , I mean someone left it in my house." he said unsurely

“You live here?"

"yeah, over there after you passed the woods you can see my house there."he said. Spade is living alone, his parents died when he was 5 years old , that's why he had no one with him, that's what he told to her. But somehow helena felt something is not right to Spade she can't pin point it yet, but she know he's a little different.

It’s getting dark when Spade bid a goodbye to Helena but then she stop him and ask when they would meet again.

"I'm here every day, just call my name and I will be here. " he smile "nice meeting you Helena" he added, helena touch her chest where her heart beats dramatically, what is happening to her but then a sweet smile draw on her face, now she has friend and she is not alone anymore.

2. Closer

Many days have passed Spade and Helena become close to each other she always told Spade what happened to her everyday lives, Spade become her listener and adviser .He also taught Helena how to handle bully and because of that the amount of student who picked on her decrease ,she also gain some friends, she also learned the fact that Adriana threaten her classmate to not talk to her that's why no one dares helped her , even though they wanted to they can't since Adrianna is the queen of their school, well at least she knew, she knew that there are people who is willing to be her friends.

"Hey Spade, what do you want for your dinner??" she asked while doing something in Spade’s little kitchen . Spade already brought her in his house on their second meeting in the woods, the house was small but enough for a one man to live there, it only has one bedroom, one small kitchen, a comfort room and a mini sofa inside .

The atmosphere in Spade's home was very relaxing and refreshing, it was like a paradise because when you went out to the house the green grass and different smell of the flowers will say hello to you. That's the reason why Helena always wanted to stay there.

"you cook? You haven't told me." He said while slowly moving towards Helena's direction, he is smiling to the idea his head is suggesting he wonder what will happened when he try to scare her.

Spade came closer to Helena’s back and when helena is about to say something..

"Now you know , my mom taught....*tsup*" both their eyes went wide Helena didn't finish what she is about to say when her lips and Spade lips meets in instant, shock both written in their faces as they still kissing, both of them didn't know how to break the kiss without an awkwardness.

But then the idea that they were kissing too

long struck their mind and break it immediately .

"I- I'm going to slice!!" both of them panic and didn't know what to do, Spade who is blushing like an in love lady and Helena who is red as a tomato that she is slicing,

" o-okay, I'll just swept- the floor" Spade immediately face back to Helena and went outside.

One big and sweet smile both curve on their faces they don't regret any second that their lips met it was both their first time, to kiss someone.

They both eat happily but not with the usual atmosphere, now you really can see the atmosphere of an in love couple having their romantic dinner with each other.

The Quarrel

The next day.

9:30 am

After what happened yesterday the sweet smile in their faces didn't fade

"you dismiss early." Spade said while allowing Helena to seat.

"well our class ended early as it is" she replied and an awkward moment begins Spade stand up and went to kitchen

"oh.. did you eat already? I cook vegetable salad" Helena just smile and follow Spade to the kitchen

"not yet, "

While having their snack an event cross on Helena's mind

"hey! Tomorrow is St. Valentines day, I hope Adriana won't pick a fight on me!" she said but her true agenda is to remind Spade about the occasion or if he has a plan. Since tomorrow is St. valentine’s day she is expecting deeply in her heart some gift or present from Spade. Even though they're not saying anything she can felt that both of them is sharing the same feelings so maybe a box of chocolate and a bouquet of flower might do it or just.

"St. Valentine’s day?? What's that??" her day dreaming session suddenly stop when she heard what Spade asked.

Wait, what? Is she deaf or what? Did she really heard Spade asked what is a St. Valentine’s day is?? Is he serious? How come a guy don't know such an Occasion ?

“Seriously??" she gave Spade a blank and poker face.

Spade might notice the sudden change on Helena's expression and somehow he felt scared.

"w-why? What's up with that St. Valentine’s day? Can you eat it?" he innocently asked.

"No!" oh this is bad , Spade really felt wrong while looking at Helena's eyes it’s like telling him, 'you idiot! How come you don't know it'' look and just one wrong word he is sure Helena will get mad at him.

The truth is Spade really is clueless about that occasion since he live in the woods and one more thing Spade has no memory. And it’s been more than a year without any interaction with some people, before Helena came so he really is innocent about this.

"can you play it?” he said

"no!” Helena is about to burst out of anger , they seems like playing a guessing game together.

"ah.. is that a thing?"

my goodness stop me! I’ll punch this guy's handsome face how come he is not aware such an occasion?' madness begin to cover Helena's mind. She take a deep breath before saying her very dreadful speech that will surely makes Spade holy spirit awake.

"VALENTINES! Spade Valentines...February 14 is the national heart day!! It's the day of those people who is deeply madly in love with each other, it’s should be the day those idiot guy confess their feelings to the girl they like , give them flowers, chocolates or anything that can make them special in one day! It St. Valentine’s day!! Valentine’s day Spade!! Tss!! How come you don't know it!" she shout on top of her lungs and immediately went out , while Spade was left dumbfounded inside..

" is such an occasion really exist??" He said. And he knew he is in trouble today. He wants to follow Helena but the girl he loves has a blood of flash in her, when he went out to follow her she's nowhere to be found..

He was about to go inside of his house when he felt that something bad aura is surrounding his house. And then he saw this long brown haired girl who is secretly peeping around.

WHILE walking to the woods Helena thinks that maybe Spade don't like him , she mean is that, is it really possible that one individual don't know such a thing about valentines? He said to her that it's been 3 years since he live here in the woods and he is now 21 yrs. old. It’s really impossible for him not to know it.. or maybe it's just his alibi, he is making an excuse to say that he really has no feelings to her.

She stops from walking and " Spade you idiot!!!" she shouted and she can hear voice echoing to the woods.

On her way to her school one girl purposely bump her

"hi there trash!!" she just gave a deadly glare to the bitch who bump her.

"shut up! Ugly, I'm not in the mood to play with you today so better out of my way before I punch your ugly face!" shock written to the girl’s face, she didn't expected a bully like Helena could talk back like that.

Far away from her two pairs of eyes is looking at her way one with a dreadful glare, a glare that has an evil plan on mind. While the other is seems fill with joy and love on its eyes.
