The school bus ran with a medium speed while the students bickered and talked all the way
Bus driver: Aw my bad kids.... The road is blocked
We have to take the other forest path

The bus driver climbed down the bus to check the massive Rocks blocking the road

Boarding the last bus was a fcking boomer

Hang in there Sarah *chuckle*

The Other buses went ahead before the rocks fell

The teacher's bus and the others were all ahead while the last bus took the forest path

Suddenly the driver out on the news channel on the bus tv screen
reporter: the western xxxxxx area is in danger, Zombie virus has leaked all over this state

The channel started to glitch because of the poor connection

While the students were stunned for a while telling themselves that this is some kind of sick joke
Jacob
That's some dry a$$ jokes bro

Meanwhile one of the teachers called the bus driver
Bus driver: hello last bus no. 2797 speaking
Bus driver: ma'am what the heck is happening with the news!!
Bus driver: Ma'am? Ma'am? MA'AM!?
Teacher: Don't..... Come here .....
Teacher: Take those still not infected kids and DONT- COME HERE!!

The deadly scream from the teacher through the call sent shivers down the student's spine

The bus driver realised that this is not a joke but a serious sht happening
Narator
He turned the bus and started speeding at the forest road
Tyler
My brother is at the first bus
Narator
A student named Tyler started crying in the bus

The other students including Evelyn sat beside him and tried to comfort him

STOP THE DAMMED BUS PLEASE!!
Narator
Tyler pulled himself out of everyone's grasp and ran to the bus drivers seat and tried to turn the bus's route back

The bus got out of control this resulting it to crash at tree and fall sideway
The area was covered with think layer of smoke
hopefully the students were alive
Of the Jock student Alexander was pissed off and pulled Tyler out of the bus to beat him

You FCKING PIECE OF-

Please don't fight right now

This is a goddamn life or death situation
Evelyn
Let just First pull all the students out of the bus before the oil leakage result into a blast
They started pulling out the other remaining students in the bus
Sarah screamed from the bus
Evelyn
Sarah is still inside
Evelyn ran inside the bus
The others shouted behind her
Cat also ran behind Evelyn
They found Sarah horrified looking at the bus driver's dead body
Evelyn
It's not the time right now
Cat pulled Sarah out of the bus
Evelyn followed them behind

The students were devastated
Since the only adult (bus driver) was dead
Some even started to blame Tyler
Who starred blankly and stood still
one of the students Jacob who was the class president walked up and said

Just because we lack an older person to guide us

We shouldn't just stay still in this forest

the zombies can reach those forest in no time

we should go back to see if back home is safe or not

What should we do with this body?

At least this will keep the zombies late from reaching us

NOW LET'S HURRY UP BEFORE THE ZOMBIES GETS HERE
The students ran quietly after Cat's remark

Cat was the extrovert kid of the class, she was adventurous and all, she was loud
she was friends with Evelyn the polar opposite of her personality... Evelyn was almost always quiet, never started a conversation.... Evelyn was like the Protagonist's quiet and gloomy friend (eg: Megumi Sasuke 🤣) and Cat was like the full of energy 24/7 person eg: y'all know who I'm gonna mention
But one thing Cat was kind of amused about Evelyn was that even tho she was quiet, anti social and gloomy all the time... most of the boys would fawn over her and crushed over her
but cat could care less because she was in love- and by in love i mean head over heels for one guy
Cat was worried because the Joshua guy was actually Tyler's elder brother who was at bus no. 1
Evelyn
Huh- did you said something?
They reached the Town but the zombies were already there
Jacob
Our school building is the nearest we must hurry there quietly

Jacob led the whole group to the school building without risking any lives

Hurry up before the population of the zombies increases
Jacob and Alexander locked the doors and windows with heavy desks and lockers
After one and a half hour

Okay everything is fine now

All the doors and windows have been locked

We don't need to lock the door and windows of the above ground floors, but we need to patrol the whole school
hearing John's words everyone kind of got scared
No one was stepping up to patrol
John
C'mon we need to divide into groups and patrol

That does not sound like a good idea tho-

I think we shouldn't separate and divide

Dividing into groups doesn't sound good tho-
While everyone was busy arguing
Evelyn bravely grabbed a baseball bat

Like that she pulled John by his shirt and John happily went knowing that someone is at least brave enough to sacrifice themselves for others

With that a girl named Anne and Alexander joined the patrol team
while Cat , Pete, Sarah, Noah, Tyler stayed back

Lead this team and patrol the back building

AND EVERYONE PAY ATTENTION

after Patrolling we will meet at the Basketball rink
Everyone: nodding and agreeing
After that Noah led the other group and John led the patrol group

This is gonna take more time

We should divide further

Well let's put the intro aside and divide into another group

Okay then Me and Evelyn will patrol the rooftop and the upper floors
