Somehow they manage to earned money to pay school fee by part-time job since childhood. They completed their schooling and college by scholarship

'Part-time job scene childhood'are only few words but behind this had really huge/big struggles seen childhood, normal children they get love, care, safety, Nurture, affection, etc. from parents, but they(V and Jisoo) start taking responsibility of each other. They are well matured comparing to others. Seen childhood they promised each other they will never leave each other in any condition.

after V and Jisoo got job in companies they are stable(you can say upper middle class) and then after sometime Jisoo get married to her love and have a baby, but her love died during protecting border (her husband was military officer). Somehow she (Jisoo) handle herself for her child and her brother, but she(Jisoo) was broken after her loves death. After 7 years V also leave
