In this beautiful world, where everyone lives their life for some or the other purposes, there are some people who are just one step away from the poverty and still do not complain anything... They are none other than THE MIDDLE CLASS.

In this world, consisting of different continents and countries lets focus on a city named Mumbai (India). Mumbai is called the "City Of Dreams" and it is for sure true for many reasons. People from the different regions of the country comes to Mumbai to bring their dreams into reality. It is the city which never sleeps. Also it is the financial capital of India. In this city you are likely to meet the people from all over India. Poor, rich and middle class are all found here. Some are entrepreneurs and some work for them, some have a small business and some are labourers. This city has seen many migrants coming towards her and she has always welcomed migrants. These migrants came here and some made their name all over the globe and some on their grave, the city full of opportunities.

Similarly, one family came to Mumbai with dreams in their eyes and glow on their face but with only few bucks. In that family there were in total four members, Ajay (father), Leela (mother) and Krish and Parth their childerns. As they entered the city they searched for a room at rent but failed and hence they spent that night on the footpath. Next morning Ajay went to different shops in search of a job and atlast found a job with the minimum salary but he was happy as he got the job on the second day itself and started working from that point of time. Days passed and Ajay was doing good at the job but wanted to do something else. He knew that he has a house at rent and it is required to have his own house now. So he just left his job and got another job. Here, he was being paid a little more but for him little did mattered. He was happy working and his family members were happy too. The childerns were going to the private english medium school, which was a big deal since his salary was not even close to what was required to even breathe in this city. But still he managed everything and did everything he could do.

The childrens were small but understood everything that was going on in the family. They came to know that to live, money is the thing which is essential. They were good at studies actually not too good but they knew that education is not the only key and hence they used to find some way of making money. But no one used to give them work by seeing their age. But they didn't stop there, they used to search and after a month they were able to get the work and hence they were on the top of the world not because they will make money but because that they fought for what they wanted and hence succeeded.

Things were working good for the family and the childrens also started to make money and used that money for their savings. They were making money enough to keep themselves happy and the fact that they were making money kept them going. After the school they used to work with all their heart and used to come late. One day Leela asked them, "Why are you both getting late everyday?". After hearing the question they both were silent as if their crime was now caught. Leela asked again and this time in a bold tone. As they both were scared to answer Parth made a move and answered, "We were having extra classes". Krish was just looking at the Parth and still didn't utter a word. After hearing the answer from Parth, Leela was relaxed and hugged both childrens with love and affection.

This was the first time that Parth lied but he thought that lying for this matter was not wrong. They were scared and excited at the same time. Having some ongoing conversation within themselves they both went to sleep. Ajay also came home and was having words with Leela about the struggle to earn money. They had a long way from sleeping on the footpath to having a rented roof on the top. They were now a step ahead and became a middle class family from a poor family. Ajay was solely dependent on his job and while he was talking with Leela, Krish and Parth were also listening to them. The struggle was still there and now it was to be a rich family. This leap is the toughest leap and requires a lot of struggle and understanding.

So after hearing the conversation of Ajay and Leela, childrens thought that the money they were making were very very less. So now they must do something to make more money. At this point, they were only thinking about money as if money is the only thing to live this life for. They thought many things and found nothing so they continued with the same work after the school. Days were passing and the inflation was rising. The stress of surviving was at the top of this family. Instead of becoming rich they were able to visualize themselves to be a poor family soon. The biggest twist came when one day Ajay went for work and he was fired. The reason given to him was that the owner is not having enough money to pay his employees and hence he needs to fire some of his employees. After hearing this he just fell down on the floor with a blank state of mind. Other employees picked him up and gave him water. As he felt a bit better he just ran out and started searching for the job everywhere in the city. He searched almost everywhere but was not able to find a job paying him enough to just give his family two meals a day. Everything was shattered. He had never assumed in his wildest dreams that something like this can ever happen to him.

But life happened.

After searching for the job and accepting rejections from everywhere he went home not knowing what to do next. As he reached home he saw a smile on the face of Leela and he just forgot everything for a bit of second. After seeing the happiness on Leela's face he decided in his mind that he won't let Leela know anything about his job since he didn't wanted to take back the smile from her face. He just acted of being normal in front of Leela but she just caught him acting and asked, "is everything all right?" and as soon as she asked, Ajay replied "yes, everything's good" with a fake smile on his face. He convinced Leela that everything is fine but was not able to decide how he will pay his rent which is due next month. He didn't sleep that night since the thoughts didn't let him sleep. Still convincing himself he just motivated himself that everything will be fine again and he will soon get the job.

The night was too long for Ajay but it passed somehow and as the sun was up his thoughts again caught his mind. He felt like his house was having a time bomb with time of just 720 hours (1 month) to defuse it. He decided that anyhow he will find a job and he will share this good news of finding a new job with his family and apologize for not telling the truth and will promise to never lie again so that everything will be fine again. So he went in search of the job, but this time to some different location. He again failed to get the job and was not able to understand that what went wrong from his side. He was very frustrated and so he sat near a temple to calm his mind.

After few minutes he just realised that he searched everywhere in the city but didn't went to the shop he was working when he was very new to the city. He realised that maybe he can again get the job over there. So he rushed over there and saw that the shop was closed. He asked the neighbouring shops that why this shop is closed? and the replies were not convincing to him so he decided to wait over there for some time. He waited there for around two hours and still there was no clue about the shop's owner, so he decided to go back home and tell everyone in his family about the truth. As he entered he just called everyone besides him and told, "Listen to me carefully, I am going to say something scary but since it is the truth I will have to share it with you all..." interrupting Ajay in the middle, Leela asked "We are not able to understand anything, can you please come to point and say whats the matter?" and with all his guts Ajay just told in one flow that, "I lost my job yesterday".
